Daily RadarMLS again uses that classic fluid passing game found in all the previous Konami soccer titles. The controls, which use the Japanese configuration, are responsive and logical and designed to keep the pace of the game loose and fast.
-
If I had to pick any American soccer game, it's probably be this one, because of its reliance on realism, straight skill and the player's soccer knowledge.
-
Assigning a final overall score for this game is quite difficult. A score of 78 seems low for a game that is easily one of the best sports games on the PS2.
-
If you own the PlayStation version of MLS Game Night or any of the ISS Pro Evolution games, then it's not worth investing here as there's nothing spectacularly new and the game hardly pushes the PS2 to its full potential.
-
Although it seems odd, I believe that this is the best of all the Konami/ESPN sports games to date.
-
My big issue with ESPN MET is the AI or lack thereof. On several occasions I was able to bring my opponent's goalie out of his box and leave the goal wide open. In addition, taking the ball from players is as easy as running into them.
-
A godsend for those who prefer almost no control over their players.
