  1. The sound design in The Mis-Edventures throughout the entire game is spot on and, of course, shares the style of the show.
  2. A fun bit of gaming for the pre-teen crowd that combines 3D platforming action, solid visuals and great music fans of the show will really appreciate.

The game is extremely short, the gameplay doesn't offer an impressive amount of depth, the puzzles can be overly confusing at times, and the character voices can get annoyingly repetitive.
  4. Although the game does look and sound like the TV show, the gameplay is reminiscent of a budget game. I had to look closely to make sure the box it came in didn't have a hole drilled through it.

Trying to shut and eight-year old up for ten minutes? Tell him Santa doesn't exist instead. He'll still hate you, but there'll be less long-term psychological damage. [Jan 2006, p.110]

Can't remember much about this game, as I played it a long, long time ago. The Squirrels and clams make for some very annoying enemies, sub-par to average gameplay overall, Ed, Edd, and Eddy deserved a better game than this.

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. This game is one of my favorite licensed games apart from Spongebob Battle For Bikini Bottom. sure this game isn't a big Collectathon platformer, but I love the show and with Ed Edd n' Eddy being one of my favorite cartoons of all time (I wish that it would come back to cartoon network) I just had to review this! I've owned this game on this platform for years now, and even if I didn't take the most care of the disc, it still runs perfectly. every level is good. but there was one very minor issue once where every time a very specific voice clip of Ed saying something would play, it would kinda replay the last few seconds of that voice clip whenever I'd go near NPCs like Jimmy. but that is just a minor issue with my disc. Game is still fun, the show still uses the original voice cast... and honestly if any game needs a remake in my opinion, this game does. or at least an HD port.
I do have a few gripes though. first off, the game is quite short if you know what you're doing... second, I'd have to say that the best levels are the two bonus levels that require you to collect all costume parts... I just wish there were more of them, but hey, they'd need more levels in order to have costume parts for every single bonus level... and I know there's only so much you can put on a PS2, Xbox, or Gamecube disc. sure this review is on the PS2 version, which I own, but I only brought up the other consoles since this game IS cross platform.

most of all... I hate a few levels. Especially level 3, 4, and 6. sure level 3 is interesting, especially with half of the mission be a stealth segment, but I really hate the stupid basketball throwing bit for Kevin... that is the worst part in my opinion. then came the race at the end of level 4... I honestly hate racing in most games unless the game is a racing game.

but the worst thing to me is the character models. sometimes they look fine... other times... no. literally the best character model is Plank, and that's only because he looks like a good 3D representation of the cartoon version of him... he's just a board of wood with a crayon face!

Anyways... this game still charmed me with it's writing, the voice acting, bonus levels, and even the collectible Jawbreakers that unlock cheats once you get all of them. if I were to let my love of the show get to change my rating for this game. so that's why I'm giving it a 7 instead of a 10.
