This game is the best I love bomb tag, Last man standing, and customizing your car. Although I beat the game in 3 days. I would rent it first just to try it out and see if you like it.

It’s an arcady, medium sized package, topped off with small and quick tracks, A.I. willing to murder you on lap 1, rock tracks to keep your head bobbing (originals even created for this gem), and of course the crashing and burning that is the name of the game! Visually it’s not stunning (anymore) but it still surprises with everything like debris, fire and car wrecks flying around populating most of the screen, it’s hard to believe that the PS2 could handle it. An instant recommendation for anyone not wanting to invest alot of time for a new game and like racing games crossed with the action of a Michael Bay movie. Expand

Lacks elastic A.I. to keep the cars close together. [Jan 2005, p.87]
  2. There's none of the track furniture that shined "FlatOut" or the general gloss and roundness of "Burnout." This shallowness in gameplay is honestly the only thing that lets the game down.

The control is surprisingly solid, the graphics are fairly smooth. [Holiday 2004, p.98]
