The excellent production value and a stellar song list will make Karaoke Revolution Country the life of the party for those that wear cowboy boots and say “y’all come back now, ya hear”.
-
Despite the fact that this latest edition of Revolution really doesn't stray from the formula the games are known for, it's more fun than it lets on, thanks to a bit of customization, some fun mini-games and the Duet Mode, and a song selection that's stronger than a bull chasing a rodeo clown.

PSM MagazineSadly, this game doesn't feel very personalized for country music fans when it comes to its venues. [May 2006, p.80]

Official U.S. Playstation MagazineIf you have a companion who shares your hankering for country music, indulge. If not, give this a pass. [May 2006, p.82]
-
Even for a game that focuses solely on one genre, this collection of songs is too varied to please all country fans. It would probably make a fun rental for a weekend. Don't buy this package unless you're a true fan of corny songs…er… I mean country songs.
-
Take a look up yonder and read over the tracklist to see if it suits you, because it was seriously lacking for both me and Lisa.
-
My biggest complaints with Karaoke Revolution Country is its lack of songs and its mix of new and old country.
