It looks pretty simple, but it's got a cuteness that will appeal to a wide range of players, and enough mini-games to keep players interested for a good while.
-
BoomtownBuzz Junior: Jungle Party has all the fun of the buzzer in a much more child friendly game - and if they ask you to play along it really isn't the end of the world, it is quite good fun. Until they beat you, of course.
-
The simple nature of the games is a double-edged sword. Anyone can play, but the lack of depth means there may not be any lasting appeal.
-
That doesn't mean it's a bad game, but with an obviously younger slant to the presentation and only 25 games to play -- a good chunk of which are eerily similar to other game types -- this isn't a shindig that will be able to lure the whole family to the PS2.
-
AceGamezWith a slightly restrictive control interface and uninspired, downright samey minigames, the mature gamers looking for a slice of party fun (soggy jam sandwiches optional) may wish to seek the likes of Buzz! Big Quiz or Buzz! The Music Quiz. Put simply, this is one for the tots.
-
Jungle Party's presentation is actually surprisingly good.
-
The grown-up Buzz! games might make you feel smart, but this makes us feel evil. And sometimes, that's way more fun.
