This is a really good game for not only kids, but for adult gamers who want to share gaming with their children. If you’re a 21 year-old college kid looking for a game to play between keg-stands, this isn’t the one. If you’re looking for spot-on, photo-realistic NBA action, skip it. My daughter and I loved this game for the experience. It’s not about the AI, the graphics, or the animations. It’s what gaming should be about – fun. And when it’s family fun, well, that’s a huge bonus.
-
But kids who want a quick and easy game that’s fun to play, has a nice variety of power-ups, and offers something different from the norm will be amused by what BB07 has to offer.
-
The game purposely lacks the depth found in 2K Sports' NBA 2K7, making it ideal for kids and parents. Everyone else should stick to more option heavy basketball games.
-
If it’s about delivering a quality gaming experience to the younger crowd, however, the series has again missed the mark. Being a children’s product is no justification for sub-par quality.
