The game also has replay value up the wazoo. Not only do you get to storm through 25 levels of insanity, but you have many extras to unlock as well.
-
Da GameboyzImprovements over the PSX version graphically, and the inclusion of more missions make this title a sure bet for owners of the PS2.
-
The much-improved PS2 version flies mighty high with spectacular visuals and improved gameplay.
-
A game built on solid gameplay mechanics featuring fast-paced exploding action, that delivers nothing but fun.
-
Although it briefly brought back memories of the classic "Jungle Strike" and even "Chopper Attack," it felt like a rehash of the older Air Attack game and it is. But this rehash doesnt even have enough spark to keep you interested for very long.
-
Virtually the same as the PS One version, although the PS2 game has superior graphics and faster, smoother play.
-
TotalGames.netA well crafted game that pays respects to its franchise, drawing strength from it rather than using it as a prop. More like this please Trip.
-
Daily RadarWe wouldn't eBay one of our internal organs to own this game, but it is fun enough to be worth the price of admission.
-
My biggest complaints here are that level variety is good, but not great. There are occasion levels that are pleasureable, but just as soon as you get excited again, the next level is boring again.
-
Safe and well-executed, but predictable and innovation-free.
-
Its lack of innovation may be acceptable, since Air Attack 2 for the PlayStation was a thoroughly enjoyable game, but unfortunately a few key graphical flaws make it a significantly less enjoyable game.
-
Air Attack 2 breaks the mold and is actually pleasing to the eye. While the opening FMV is a tad glitchy, the game itself looks great. The areas and vehicles are extremely smooth.
-
The thrill of dodging missiles and gunfire coming at you from every direction, then retaliating with a few missiles of your own and watching their plastic bodies blow rarely gets old.
-
The only real problem is that it doesn't go too far out of its way to differentiate itself from either its predecessor or any other game in the genre.
