Zombi is an ugly and a technically crippled game which has an excellent atmosphere in spite of the problems. [Sept 2015]

Zombi can live without U. Innovative concept is the main strength of this title, now available to a wider audience.

Zombi is far from a bad game, it has many concepts that are just different enough to give it some great potential and its core design is solid, however it’s marred by the myriad of bland or lazy elements.

Without the Wii U gamepad it's just a half-baked port of a solid but out-of-date survival horror game.

The removal of some terrific features, plus the lack of effort for the PC version, serves to knock the game down a tad compared to its ZombiU alternative, but it is nonetheless a gruesomely enjoyable ride, and I honestly hope it gets the attention it deserves this time.

Zombi is a decent port, and although I had some struggles early on coming to terms with the keyboard and mouse controls (especially in the inventory and during combat), I did enjoy running through (and below) the streets of London.
  7. Zombies left America and came to the streets of London. Realistic FPS experience is waiting for you. Allocated other zombie types in the game, how long are you going to survive?

Still, an enthusiast of survival horrors might want to pay a visit to undead London – Zombi is one of the few contemporary games that place emphasis on survival rather than slaughtering of zombies. [Issue#201, p.62]

A solid survival horror experience unfortunately plagued by bugs and control issues.

Botched port full of mistakes maybe offers the quite bearable atmosphere, but the actual game content loses its nerve-wracking charm offered by the Wii U controllers. The result is dull and boring game.

In a world after Dying Light, Zombi looks and feels like a shambling mess. Poor graphics, mindless head-bashing and the perplexing lack of a stealth option make this one hard to swallow even for zombie enthusiasts.

Bad shooting mechanics, linear maps, annoying melee combat. Pretty much a true old console game, ported to PC but not extended to the capabilities of the PC. This game is almost another insult to PC gaming.

You can't jump, you can't crouch, you can't play stealthy/sneak (lol@survival then), since ALL these actions are bound to the same 'interact'-key. And then they call this a PC game? It's half walking, half "press E". Nothing more.

Even if people like the survival part of the game, it is so incredibly linear. Want to play a better zombie survival game which is pretty much superior in all aspects? Play Dying Light.

So why the 4? Because it got me interested for at least 5 hours, before the game made me a zombie due to boredom.

    - Without using special controller from WiiU. Why they dont use smartphones? It would be better and game doesnt look same as others zombi games.

If you want killing many and many zombies, byu L4D/L4D2. It is cheaper, better and funny co-op for 4 players.
