I am a big fan of the first Ziggurat of 10 years ago, and Ziggurat 2 is even better! Extremely well polished in all aspects. The game will never crash and has very few bugs (I never found any in 30 hours of play). Very well balanced and fun. One of the best roguelike FPS on the market (better than Gunfire Reborn for example).

The only real criticism I can make of it is that the perks are perhaps TOO balanced, so you don't really get crazy perk combinations that make you absolutely stomp a run like in other games, which would have been pretty fun to have. Instead most perks give benefits in the sub-10% range, so it doesn't *feel* like you're gaining that much power, instead it's a slow and steady power creep during a run, which is a tad unexciting.
But this in no way takes away from how good the game is, it just stops it from being the absolute best FPS I ever played. It is still extremely good, and the moment-to-moment gameplay and the overall feeling of playing it are incredible!… Expand
