I give this game 8 for now due to the game is still early access but will change with the game update.

The basic premise is this : you play as either CT or T and choose a spawn locations. While the T you have to defend the objective (either bomb or hostage) while CT have to either defuse the bomb or rescue the hostage (Kinda like R6 Siege really).

BUT.... what i love the most from this game is that you MUST be tactical, always have to communicate with your teammate. The game is very slow pace compared to r6 siege with realistic looking operator and terrorist. So realistic in fact that the game count ammo per magazine NOT per bullet and the environment is very dark if the CT manage to turn of the electricity which make the game more intense (CT have access to NV Googles while T only have Flashlight).

But remember this game is still early access, which means this game is still buggy. Character animation is still weird at times and some sound effects like grenade is somewhat cartoony.

For a $3 game this game is really good and if you like tactical and slow pace fps game, this game is for you.

Zero Hour is an interesting game. It's a mixture of World War 3 and Rainbow Six Siege (without the Avenger Operators).

While on T you can select which resource you'd like to have for the round. You can either choose to have armor, or have the ability to fortify the location with cameras, C4 or door traps.

This game has a different change of pace also, because one round you can rush have the lights on in the building and another round you can have all the lights turned off (yes you can turn the lights back on, but you'd have to risk your life in order to do it). That or mid-game you can have your teammate find the switch breaker and just turn the lights off as soon as you breach the hostage room.

For $12, it's a respectable price for an Early Access game. Animations are odd, the left and right sway after you run is kinda annoying, some maps and areas are super dark but these are issues that are allowed to be in Early Access titles. Hell, they even have a Roadmap for you to see what they plan on doing towards full release. You can't beat this price if you wanted a more tactical Siege'like game, though with this price you will have to have an open mind and not bash on it. If you want to improve it, give the developers feedback on the Discord server.

Does it have bugs and odd animations? Yes. Is it slow pace compared to Siege? Yes. Is it fun? Yes.

Zero Hour is just your gun and the skill you have. Simple and clean.

For a startup Bangladeshi dev, this is a pretty good achievement and has a lot of potential with the road map ahead.

    Pros:
    ‣ Solid experience for the buck
    ‣ Constant updates through feedback, very responsive & honest devs
    ‣ Slow paced & grounded
    ‣ Very tactical compared to Siege's fast paced gameplay
    ‣ Good graphics which can certainly be improved through map remasters

    Cons:
⁍ Grenade sound is extremely unrealistic, I'm guessing a placeholder for now?
⁍ The MAC-10, I can't stand this weapon. Hope defenders get a better weapon selection with holos & scopes in the future
⁍ Some glasses are bulletproof or feels like so
    ⁍ Frequently disconnected (Server timeout)
⁍ Animations need an overhaul which I'm sure the team will manage as they get a dedicated animator

For $8.99? I'd say it's very good and with further polish it'll be undoubtedly better. The devs are actively working hard to fix whatever they can, afterall it's a small studio out of Bangladesh with no prior experience so I'll be supporting them.

Zero Hour isn't groundbreaking or technically perfect, it has some obvious limitations, and the AI leaves much to be desired. That said, it's a good entry point for tactical FPS newbies thanks to its immediate and engaging mix of slow-paced gameplay and wild PVP.
