    Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is a perfect addition to any visual novel fan’s collection. Both games are truly a work of art that combine mystery and horror to tell a story that is so gripping that it’s almost impossible to put down. The only thing missing is the inclusion of the third entry of the series, Zero Time Dilemma.

    It’s never been easier to play the Zero Escape titles than it is now, and for the money, any fan of heady narratives and fun puzzles is in for several hours of quality entertainment.

    Although Zero Time Dilemma is nowhere to be found and there's no extras whatsoever, Zero Escape The Nonary Games is a great package containing two brilliant visual novels. If, for any reason, you didn't have a chance to play them (or just one of them), then buying it is heavily recommended, especially for the treatment that 999 has undergone.

    Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is a really solid compilation that offers a great visual novel experience on PC (and the PS4 and Vita, for that matter).

    To those who love mystery/puzzle games I think this is the main attraction for Zero Escape

    It's kinda like Danganronpa but it tells more of a mature, and dark story with lots of plot twists :D

    This bundles two games from the three volumes and you're getting a really great deal out of this.
    There is VA for the two of them so you wont need to worry yourself reading too much of the VN

    The stories told from these two games are a masterpiece and you probably wont be forgetting it for a while.... The characters too each have their own unique side stories to them as well

    Look I'm probably not giving this game justice but all I want to say is if you want a REALLY good VN, this is a must buy for the reasons stated above; You wont regret it :D

The storytelling, mysteries, plot twists, and progression were so brilliantly clever and amazing. They're so incredibly innovative and wonderful and I recommend them to anyone who loved mystery games. Even the murder mystery aspects were great. My only gripes with the games is that you do have to fill in the blanks for some of the questions that you have after finishing them (especially with 999). I did this by going on forums online to get the answers. I also wish they had spent more time drawing out the quote on quote "mastermind reveal" in 999. I feel like it was a little lackluster and could've been more dramatic. Otherwise, loved these games so much! They were great!… Full Review »

What this game does exceptionally is the tension it builds along with the pacing. You want to know what's going to happen so much due to the huge veil of mystery covering the characters and the plot. However, most puzzles are easy to medium (at max) difficulty-wise.

    Zero Escape Virtue's Last Reward: It is an amazing sequel to the first one. I found myself liking it more. Great twists that have a stronger impact on the story and the escape rooms are WAY better designed and some are actually challenging. The cast is also great here as well. As for the story, I found it more thrilling as well ,with many great mysteries, and plot is overall better.
