    First of all, this game's release date is 1 June 2000 (not Oct 8, 2010 as stated here on moment of writing).

    The game itself is expansion of original X: Beyond the Frontiers. Actually it is a lightly tweaked original version, and tweaked in right way. But things I didnt like in original version stayed here too, to mention some most important for me: bit strange economy simulation    First of all, this game's release date is 1 June 2000 (not Oct 8, 2010 as stated here on moment of writing).

But things I didnt like in original version stayed here too, to mention some most important for me: bit strange economy simulation (which pretends to be 'real', but is not) and not so 'living' universe.

    So basically this game is little bit better than original, and is OK. If you're a big fan of space sims I think you should try this.    … Expand
