    WRC 5 looks really good. Changing the development team to Kylotonn had a clear impact on the quality of the game. Right now there's no point in comparing the new WRC game with the early-access DIRT. The most important thing to remember is this: WRC 5 is simply good. Still pretty far from ideal but a big step in the right direction.

    WRC 5 is not a spiritual successor of the first Colin McRae Rally games or a milestone for the genre, but still a solid racer with solid driving model and a decent-looking tracks.

    WRC 5 leaves a really mixed taste. Deep down it is quite enjoyable arcade racing, but as a whole it feels really rushed and made with a tight budget. Especially annoying is that Neste Oil Rally is still pretty far away from the real thing. And please, forget the last-gen consoles on the next game and put full effort on current devices. [Nov 2015]

    WRC 5 is a good driving game we're sure the fans of the competition will enjoy, but it seriously needs to improve its technical side to become a better experience.

    WRC 5 is a completely competent, inoffensive racing game, but it lacks the features that have become standard in the genre. Whether you’re a fan of simulation or arcade-style racers, there are many better alternatives out there.

    There is still fun to be had driving a car around smartly designed tracks, and WRC 5: FIA World Rally Championship might just do enough to occupy your time for a few days, but feeling rough around the edges, this is one game that might end up in the dust once its 2016 rivals arrive.

    While Kylotonn has made a dramatic improvement over Milestone's game with much more refined physics and a tremendous increase in graphics quality and sound, the game still has some inherent flaws. The Special stages are too few and a lot of bugs ruin the overall experience.

    It's sad to read so many reviews from the developers here and on Steam, when they should focus on fixing the MANY problems and bugs their gameIt's sad to read so many reviews from the developers here and on Steam, when they should focus on fixing the MANY problems and bugs their game has.
    How can I believe any user could give an 8, 9 or 10 to a rally game with these features:

    - No support for some of the most important wheels on market.
    - Motors sounding like blenders.
    - Zero sound of tires on the road.
    - Barely no sound of down gear shift.
    - No v-sync for directx 11.
    - No TV/broadcast camera in replays.
    - Long loading times in car selection menus.
    - Some menus simply don't register your choices.
    - Inconsistent FPS, despite the computer you're playing.
    - Bad implemented reset-on-track limits.

    I was so excited to play this game, I've bought it on day one.
    It's a shame that al those game-breaking problems became evident so quickly.
    Try harder next time, Kylotonn.

    WRC 5. Yes! This is really a rally game! After 5 month of torture myself inside codemasters' Fake Rally I entered here - and I feel like someWRC 5. Yes! This is really a rally game! After 5 month of torture myself inside codemasters' Fake Rally I entered here - and I feel like some new dimensions sweeped open! I feel inertia and drift, I guide with them in different ways, sometimes I catch flying feelings. I have space for creativity! The game is definitely better, than WRC 1-4 (no words any "dirt")/ Of course railway drivers, which exposed to outrage their physical intuition for many years playing railway dirt arcade, cannot feel it, but true rally lovers - its for you! And our community will grow up with such game, although picture sometimes disappointing.
