Though definitely not aimed at impatient or directionally challenged gamers, Woven’s splendidly fashioned locales, likeable heroes and amusing transformations are tailor-made for a unique experience.

Woven is a cute, novel game in a creative world full of fun puzzles. It tends to drag on a bit but remains well worth a try - especially thanks to the wonderful narrator.

Woven is a game which feels inspired by several games, for example, Portal for its (some times) difficult puzzles, Atlantis and Riven, RaymanWoven is a game which feels inspired by several games, for example, Portal for its (some times) difficult puzzles, Atlantis and Riven, Rayman 2/3 for its adventure through the world, Dark Souls for the outlook of its world, that you can see, is probably where you can go, the list goes on.
It will have its own flaws and advantages over its inspirations however, it stands on its own. If there is something Alterego Games is good at, its telling you a story.

Its an adventure through a world filled with life(although the native inhabitants are nowhere to be found). You visit several different biomes, all special in their own way, filled with their own types of puzzles and new forms and color/patterns Stuffy can assume that may or may not assist you in solving new problems.
However, its not a entirely safe journey, dangers lurk around corners, hidden in sand, so be wary. Sometimes you can use your wit to escape these dangers, sometimes you can't.
In this journey however, Stuffy is not alone, he is accompanied by Glitch, and you as a player are accompanied by the Narrator, who doesn't just tell an age old story, he tells the now, and feels with the characters. Woven is filled with tiny references to different things, waiting to be discovered by its players.

May the Teacher watch over you on your journey through the knitted wool world of Woven!
