    I've been wondering for a while whether it would be fair to give full marks to a game that definitely has serious technical issues (much to the detriment of id Tech 5) but considering that this is one of the most involved plots I've ever played in an FPS and it really is one of the games that marked me the most in the genre, it couldn't be different.     Das Spiel ist einfach genial, macht wirkich viel Spaß, die Story ist sehr dramatisch und fesselnd, sehr sehr gut für Storyspieler geeignet. Ein wirklich guter Shooter mit mehr als ausreichendem Locationwechsel.

    Simply amazing. I wanted to give it a try months after getting it on Epic as a freebie and Im hooked big time. The game is fantastic.

    This game has it all: good gameplay, incredible story, beautiful graphics and charming characters. And it's my favorite of the franchise.

    Good game with decent story and somehow good character build up - including yourself and others.

    Graphics is obviously bad but its from 2014 so cant rate it really objectively in 2023.     The first few chapters are fun, but this game becomes increasingly tedious with each chapter. From chpt. 12 and above, you totally rely on the LKW, other weapons don't do much because there are bullet sponges everywhere. Supersoldaten are considered bosses in lower levels, but they are just some frequent spawns in Chapter 12. Just watch a YouTbe boss fight, and you'll see your only optionThe first few chapters are fun, but this game becomes increasingly tedious with each chapter.     A really good revange story, i honestly would say this is a better one than Farcry 4's revange story now that i think it was better than 5 too. I felt hatred against deathshead it drove me whole game long.

    but there is toooo much wasting time gameplay in game
    for example after few levels u should find some paper or toys for ur friend :| wtf is this? i deleted game after submarine game cuz i couldnt find way im not a noob im playing games for 31 years from atari & im a souls like gamer but this was insult to me wasting my time & back to where i was again again    overall its good game

    گیم پلی هم فوق‌العاده لذت بخش
    داستانش هم خیلی خوب ( هم سطح سری مترو بود یه جورایی)

    I just finished the Fergus path. Killing enemies is very satisfying, especially the executions. The graphics are very good. Music perfectly fits my mood during the game. Amazing story and characters. The levels aren't like in Wolfenstein 3D, they're much easier and you won't get lost. It's a great game and it's definitely worth buying it.

    New Wolfenstein games are a reboot done great (well, mainly), just like new DOOM. The new order changed the setting to a dieselpunk world, which looks amazing, for me its one of the better games from 2014, fun to shoot, story is done quite well and the music holy **** its so good, Gordon killed it, well, like always. I don't think that Machine Games could've done better for their debut.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Great Game, but with some flaws.

    It may seem unlikely that I recommend Wolfenstein: The New Order, after what I am about to say about it, but in the end, it still is a fantastic game.

    Wolfenstein: The New Order plays in the semi-fantasy setting of the Nazis winning the war. The way the developers projected this in the game is actually pretty realistic. The technological advances, the way they may be treating the world from that point, the fanaticism it is all there.

    The story of Wolfenstein is extraordinarily strong. It really changed from a Nazi shooting gallery to a Nazi shooting gallery with interaction between characters, beautiful upgraded graphics and sounds, and a main character you actually give a sh!t about. The perks and collectibles throughout the game gives it something extra and the whole game is filled with hidden story from the past and present and letters from citizens and soldiers who all tell something about the changing of the world as we know it.

    But for me, there were a lot of moments that I could throw the game out of the window (if I still used discs) and many times when I repeated the question ”But how??”, throughout.

    The first issue is the frame rate. Although most of the time the game runs steady at 60 fps, it has a lot of drops on certain moments, I thought it was my hardware but other players with better machines experience it too. Some people cannot get above 30 fps without tweaking the whole game.

    The second issue with this game is the load times. Oh my god, they are the longest I have ever experienced, apart from Grand Theft Auto V (nothing beats that, nothing). I played the game on a SSD drive and still it took forever to load. When I died, I was eating my nails in frustration because of the loading.

    The last issue I found are the perks. They give you a nice bonus for completing them, but the problem is that the game is way too short to unlock them as you progress. This means playing chapters over and over again to gain them, sometimes because a certain level is the only way to get a specific perk. I needed to search for walkthroughs and exploits to gain the demolition perks, those were impossible without the proper trick. Because of this, it ruined some of the fun I had with this game.

    Another thing is that the AI is incredibly stupid. They are mindless walking guns who fire endlessly on sight. If you use stealth, you can kill the whole Third Reich all by yourself by just crouching to them in plain sight and stab a knife in their throats.

    But overall, despite the problems and mindless grinds, it is still a pretty good game in which the developers want to tell you a powerful story. You can see that they made a revolutionary change with this game compared to the other parts of the series and for the story alone, I enjoyed it.

Но в общем впечатление хорошее. Любителям пострелять кибер-фрицев из футуристичных стволов понравится:)Качественный шутер, с яркими сражениями и колоритными персонажами.     Non è un capolavoro, però sa dare qualcosa al giocatore, gameplay buono, storia forse un po' troppo frenetica, ma comunque si fa apprezzare.
    Il gioco è ambientato durante la ww2, ma in maniera distopica e questo lo rende affascinante, il gameplay è abbastanza basilare, ma funzionale.

    A very brutal, satisfying game with a surprisingly deep and interesting story that takes your buff chad protagonist to some very dark, emotional places. I really like the alternate history, mixed in with some dystopian elements. This game is a must play imo

    Gameplay can be really good, but I just kept finding that I had tons of weapons that held very little amounts of ammo, not helped by the fact that you don't auto pick up ammo leads to tons of tedious deaths. Worth playing thought as there is fun to be had when the game lets you.

    What really grind my gears is the f* loading time when you die. It stuck like forever (in Epic Game Launcher).

    this masterpiece of the AI and the Graphics and design with the german soldiers i am a german guy but in the wolfenstein the new order German Patch I was so good Logo has looking mir cooler as the original Logo from Nazis and in the bed Wolfenstein 3D to play is so cool Have fun with the game

    I had to spend several hours to make the game work and behave acceptably, so that obviously poisoned my further experience. So take this review with a grain of salt. However.

    Developers. I am a PC Gamer. More than that, i am your client. And as such i expect specific things in a game when i give you money for it. Instead, i ended up doing your job and fixing things left by your ignorance.

    1. The V-Sync is broken and not working as of the date of this review (mid-2022). Good thing NVIDIA control panel has the ability to force V-Sync in specific applications.
    2. The Frame rate is locked at 60 FPS (and 30 FPS in cut scenes). Took me a few hours but i found a solution in the form id5Tweaker (thank goodness for that!).
    3. The field of view setting is maxed out at 100 (with no weapon scaling) and still looks claustrophobic. Once again - id5Tweaker saved the day there!
    4. So in conjunction with a broken V-Sync, 60 FPS, and a field of view of a box the game was looking pretty crappy from the get go. A self-speaking failure for a first impression indeed. But that's not all.
    5. So why isn't there a Save Game feature? Wasn't this invented like 100 years ago and used in the original Wolfenstein? Developers, why do you like forcing me to start over and over and over from some ambiguous checkpoint. Do you think i enjoy this experience? Or do you like causing pain?
    6. Speaking of check points and inability to save - in a few instances, after i died, i spawned in a new location which i did not reach on the map. Now there is a story submersion bummer if there ever was one.
    7. Why can't i skip the intro videos? Am i paying to watch commercials every time the game starts? Yes, i do know "id" made it. Thank you. Got it. Get me playing already!

    The story is good, the cut scenes are very well made (though limited to 30 FPS), the main characters modeled oh so well and believable (except the protagonist, whose aloof look and cute grimaces make me want to vomit). Indeed, Set Roth's dialogue writing, animation, and voice acting pretty much makes this game and is of superior execution. The game play is - how should i put it - ok, but lacks proper pacing and rhythm; it's juts all over the place.

    So all in all, developers, i understand your directives came from top, but don't you find it strangely uncanny that in a game about tyrannical overtake, you are rubbing your supporters of freedom of basic control right from the start? And you also like to cause pain? Makes me think about your character and moral values.    … Expand

    Where do i even start with this title. Wow what an experience.

    Wolfenstein brings an epic fps experience packed with great writing, graphics, characters and plot. The game honestly feels like it was way ahead of its time. The art style is perfect for the setting and it features that bit of inglorious bastards kind of humor, this is an experience you must have!

    Story was crazy and kinda weird, some times i felt like "Are these emotional speeches meant to be serious or some kinda of parody of hollwood movies?", a lot of those scenes were weird and kinda "forced" making the delivery not that good Gameplay also annoyed me, the way the game mechanic worked on PC was very annoying, the time i spent between weapon swwitching was a big    Score: 6.8

The shooting and movement feel fluid (sometimes you can get stuck in objects but oh well) and fun as hell but there are oh just not that many ways to kill your enemies(execution animations get repetitiveThis has been a pretty fun experience with characters and story that are partially **** crazy given the plot that we are given. The biggest plus of this game is definitely the gameplay.     This game gave me a few hours of pretty great gameplay and an alright crazy story(which by the end made me tear up). I am definitely glad I decided to give Wolfenstein another go after the previous one that I played(some games for windows **** that was disastrous forgot its name lol). The visuals are a mixed bag with the game sometimes looking great and othertimes looking like an early Xbox 360 game. The PC port of the game also isn't perfect with delayed input and weird bugs when using a dual monitor setup. Weapons also crack, because now we have the opportunity to use exactly two at once. But what Return to Castle did was the atmosphere. Is he here too? Surprisingly yes. Yes, it is and is wonderful. So I praised the game a lot and maybe the only minus would be the graphics, which could have been a bit better for the year of release.     Все остольное плохо сделано, сюжет просто идиотский такой, насколько это возможно. Даже не сам сюжет, а ляпы какие сделаны, один персонаж спрашивает, как вы можете находиться в центре Берлина и вас никто не находит, а он отвечает, да нас тут невозможно найти, еще момент кто в начала был в машине в багажнике гг, кто туда немца положил, ну и вишенька на торте (после этого я понял что те кто в эту игру играл и поставил больше пяти балов, просто глупые люди) в одной сцене расстреливают машину повстанцев, и трех второстепеных героев попадают пули и их убивают, видно их кровь, ну блять, в следущем заставке они целы и не времедими, кто это блять кодировал, кто это блять придумал.
    Оптимизация гавно, текстурки прогружаються через секунду. Это не ААА продукт, это как говориться "польский шутер за три рубля".    … Expand

    Great story and great experience of playing. The game contains vibes from both Half-Life and other fps games. Sometimes playing this game feels like playing a combination of Half-Life 2 and Modern Warfare. More than that, the storyline is great. Thanks to the story writing, as long as you proceed, it becomes more than an fps game.

The game generates a lot of variety in each mission, nothing too absurd but different enough and good. Your arsenal constantly changes, diversifying your weapons or giving them improvements. And the nightmares are fun. The difficulty curve was well thought out. The only defect for me in gameplay is the way to change weapons, it's not very good (you have too many, so changing by numbers is bad and that roulette is very mediocre).    … Expand

    The game knows well what the audience wants and it delivers it to them with a plate full of brutality and action. Apart from the well known fun shooting against the modern Nazis you can follow an actual story with characters that are stereotypical and funny. It's quite bizarre and violent but that's what made this game memorable.

    The only thing in the new Wolfenstein that turned out really well is music. Shooting is decent and some weapons give proper sense of power, but developers failed to build an interesting game on these foundations. It has some good moments but none of them lasts long enough to be satisfying. Plus the writing is terrible and the way the game constantly forces all that ‘war is evil!’ preaching and Blazkowicz’s moral dilemmas down your throat is ridiculous. I actually couldn’t decide whether the game is being serious or not. [07/2014, p.56]
