    Just as good as predecessors, story-wise, better graphics, excellent sounds. The New Order was probably a bit better.

    -1 for too much Social Justice Warrior politics, even though its understandable during the current trend and the subject matter.     An amazing and thrilling experience crippled by technical issues and bad optimization.

    GOOD This game is seriously badass! Weapons feel great! They really pack a punch which makes shooting nazis very very satisfying. I love how slick and smooth movement feels. The graphics are an eye-candy. The graphics are an eye-candy. I spent much of the game just looking at how nicely detailed the enviroment is, especially when exploring Eva's Hammer. The post-war enviroments combined with some very cool soundtracks and sound design make for a great atmosphere which makes just simply moving around in the world a delight.

    Another thing I loved is how lovable each character in the story is. Everyone feels really fleshed out, there's great chemistry between the Kreisau members and the voice acting is top-notch! The cinematics between gameplays are great especially during some wonderfully done comedic moments.

    BAD

    Wolfenstein II is very badly optimized and extremely demanding. Even though I have more powerful hardware than the recommended requirements I still had to lower Image Streaming down 2 levels to High and Shadow Quality down 1 level to Ultra. Even then I still had some very noticeable FPS drops in certain expansive areas. I had just upgraded my PC specifically so I could play this game on max, so this was very disappointing.

    Furthermore, for a game that gives you the power to be a hardcore killing machine it gives you very little opportunities to fully unleash your fury and shoot and destroy to your heart's content. In quite a few action sequences I was like "yeaah finally let's shoot some nazis bang bang die die!" and 20 seconds later everyone is dead. I mean, the action was still satisfying, but I felt like much more could have been done by letting you go on an insane killing spree every once in a while.    … Expand

    I haven't had any crashing, however I have had a lot of artifact issues and just general graphics hooey. Windowed mode has **** for resolution choices and editing the config file for a custom one screws up the text. Just play in Fullscreen and that's mostly fixed for me.

    Easily one of the most impactful campaigns I’ve ever played through in a shooter…
    Here you’re starting to spark a revolution and take back America, killing some Nazi scum…
    Wolfenstein 2 is a much more compact game compared to the original, this time only taking around 6 and a half hours to complete…
    But it’s an enjoyable 6 and a half hours...
    much more linear as well with the same concepts of taking out scouts so they don’t trigger alarms, and stealthing through areas or going in guns blazing…
    The weapon variety isn’t as vast, but you have your typical base weapons you’d expect in most shooters... but to bring some variety in, your guns are all upgradable, allowing you to add a perk to give them an entirely different feel….
    The level design isn’t that great this time around…
    it feels pretty dull and generic…
    The greatness comes in the setting and the story telling…
    when the game puts you into perspective of the world around you..
    Without the great story pieces, this is still a good shooter… but just good...
    There are no epic fights or showdowns…
    Just a bunch of running from point a to b and shooting everything in your way…
    it plays and feels how you’d expect, but no moments outside of cut scenes blew me away
    I love how the story was delivered though, in ways you wouldn’t expect and are surprising each time…
    This game will break your heart, it will give you hope, it will take it away…
    for those reasons alone, you owe it to yourself to play through this first person shooter…

    Be aware of all the critic reviewers today. They all have been payed on every big game made by a big company like Bethesda, EA, Ubisoft and so on. And most of the Critics gives the same reviews to PC as Consoles when they only played it on Console. Most of them have NO IDEA how the game run on PC.     Played for 14 hours and finished the story, without the side missions.

    3. While the story as a whole was enjoyable, it felt a little too short.

    The level design and story structure is a good mix between the previous two titles, combining the adrenaline-filled pacing of TNO and    Four years later and this game still looks beautiful. The New Colossus is an unquestionable next-gen sequel coming from The New Order and Old Blood, made with better graphics, gunplay, sound effects and complementary gameplay mechanics across the board.

    Much better story in here than I expected. Deep ties with characters, world history, etc. Dig in! There are actual characters, story and ideas contained in this game! Shocking, i know.

    System wise for the PC: smooth and stable for me. (i5-3570k, 16GB, GTX1080) Technically excellent, very stable, very beautifully done.

    BTW, There are no damn loot boxes in here!

    This game has more cut-scene (and of better quality), more over the top humor (a little like Fallout), faster combat, interesting (and strange) peoples (enemy and supporters), very large bosses
    Story and drama are also present.

    Some people here are taking this game way too serious... i found it a little repetitive but good and fun its like wolfenstein the new colossus was directed by Quentin Tarantino with lots of blood weird dialogue and situations if you played any previous wolfenstein you will probably enjoy this

    Don't pay attention to the haters, the game is fun and the story and cutscenes are nice. For those criticizing BJ for being a " typical super hero " duhhh that's the whole point,anyways if you liked the previous two games you will surely enjoy this, but New Order was better.

    Worth 40$ not 60

    Great game with an interesting story, astonishing visual effects, charismatic characters, and kick-ass soundtrack. Bethesda could have made a better PC port, though — I was really frustrated with the bugs and crashes I have had to encounter during my walkthrough. With all these nice words regarding this title, I would love to see the next game and I am looking forward to playing it.

    A really good sequel but certainly not as good as the first one, but it has a really unique and amazing story and the gameplay is still solid.
    Enjoy the story for how much of a got punch it is at the Beginning well. BJ is just losing the will to fight but still moving towards it in autopilot game really enjoyed the story all the way through

    my problems with the game is there's no New Game Plus so it's not a specifying to play the game again with all your perks on dark and the game is a bit more story than game for my liking. I think it is about 25/75 percent gameplay.
    I prefer the tone in the first one word filter more ground. Weird stuff still happend But always feels like you were still in our world. Just more f***** up when in this one. It feels like we have went a bit more into the fantasy.    … Expand

    harika bir oyundu. sinematikleri çok güzeldi. aksiyonu boldu. fakat orta zorlukta oynamama rağmen kolaydı. güçlü silahları toplayıp elde tutarsanız bölümü geçmek çok basit oluyor. silahları merdiven çıkarken bırakmak garip bir hata. hiç sıkılmadım. tavsiye ederim. nvidia 770m ile 960p çözünürlük high-medium ayarlar ile ortalama 30-40 fps aldım.

    Was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat ist das der Höhepunkt eigentlich nicht das Ende des Spiels sondern sich in der Mitte befunden hat. *spoilerwarnung* Man besucht Area 52 ... jagt dort ne Atombombe hoch .. und unterhalb der Höhle soll Alien Technologie sein.. warum darf ich da nicht hin ... dann fliegt man zur Venus !!!!!!!!!!! und trifft sich mit Adolf Hilter ... den hätte ich verflucht gerne getötet ... das Ende dagegen wo man General Engel den Schädel spaltet ist zwar okay aber eben nicht dieses MEGA Highlight. *spoilerende* Auch Story mässig hätten sie mehr machen können wo man merkt ok wir starten eine Revolution. Man wird nicht belohnt dafür das man ein 100 % Ende versucht... die Enigma Maschine die paar Zusatzmissionen freischaltet hätte mehr Teil der Hauptstory sein sollen die die Story vorantreibt ... so ist es nur ein optionales unwichtiges nice to have ...

But what I love even more was the more personal story and great description of the Nazi future world in general. I didn't care that it wasn't a realistic story (there are scifi elements in it) because the rest of the world is fun to discover. The game has setup to medium graphics, but I am able to play at high easily. I noticed very few slow down to date. I give it a 80%. The lore is amazing and...you have to kill Nazis.… Expand

    4. Story has a couple of cringy moments, and I'm not talking about the free use of gore during cutscenes, I'm talking about moments where you would go "no way that could happen!". Not gonna spoil anything. Or "Come on, white ass nazis" said by an actual white guy, go figure.
    5. Lip syncing...non existing. Not only the characters barely move their lips during dialogues (and are certainly not in sync) but I was in this town and a woman was talking to a nazi officer and their lips didn't move at all despite the obvious voice acted dialogue.
    6. Obvious plot holes here and there.

    Overall a good game. The gameplay is fun, storyline is good, very good optimization as well, I don't have a beast pc and I could play this game in 1080 on medium with 60+ fps, no fps drops, no freezes. People who voted negative are honestly retarded, talking about racism and **** guys its a **** game stop getting offended.

    Great game, better then Doom 2016 which was total garbage in my opinion. The best performance i got in ages on my low end amd gpu. I would like to see BJ's psychopathy getting addressed in a future dlc.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I bought my copy of The New Colossus day before its release for a good price. I had very little info about the sequel to 2014 reboot of Wolfenstein franchise. I played the original and enjoyed it for what it was, a single-player story driven FPS, but it did not leave any lasting impressions.
    The New Colossus did not start well, error message right at the start left me with no choice other than to search internet for solution--and I was found relatively quickly, I had to instal latest Nvidia drivers.

    Once I installed latest drivers from Nvidia, the game started and played flawlessly on high settings in 1080p on my i7-4790k with GTX1070--rock solid 60fps, no noticeable slowdowns, no broken geometry or texture popping. Only other problem I have encountered from start to finish of the game were 2 game freezes during loading. I have not fiddled with video settings at all, the game run smoothly and looked amazing at default high settings.

    The game offers continuation of alternative history of WW2. The story was decent with several great characters that were flashed out as much as possible in a FPS game. The story absolutely parodies current political situation and does not shy away from controversial topics such as racism, sexism and spreading of neo-nazi propaganda. It is all in good fun and cartooney approach but there are some graphical moments not for feint of heart.

    I liked the gameplay because it is simplistic in its focus--provide well crafted experience focused on killing enemies, pure and unadulterated mayhem, with optional stealth that worked good enough. Weapon selection is limited to standard set of armaments including pistol, sub-machine gun, assault rifle, electricity-based gun and grenade/rocket launcher. There is also few heavy weapons that can be picked up from static gun posts or from fallen enemies. They have limited ammunition and must be carried in both hands slowing you down and forcing you to drop them on the ground if you want to use some of your standard guns. Gunplay is fine, each weapon feels differently.

    Length of the game is decent, I have finished the story at around 25 hours on Do or Die difficulty setting. Some parts of the game were rather difficult but nothing impossible. Enemy AI is very mobile and once alerted to your presence they can often surprise you by flanking you or coming from behind you. I always found it better to soften enemy forces by applying stealth early in the game levels--this is certainly recommended approach on higher difficulty settings when captains are present on the battlefield.
    I still have several ubercommanders to kill via helm navigation map, which is some kind of meta game on top of story missions. These kill missions are happening in locales you visit during story missions with slight modifications to what enemies are present, their placement and new collectibles.

    Character perk and weapon upgrade systems are good and fit the tune of the game. Character perks are gained naturally by performing specific actions, e.g. killing enemies while dual-wielding or performing stealth takedowns. These perks improve certain aspects of your character--mostly quality of life improvements but some of these perks are very powerful.
    Weapon upgrade system is simple enough but efficient. Upgrades provide improvements to a gun or even add new functionality to it. Upgrades can be toggled on and off so you do not have to worry whether you will like it or not. Weapon upgrade kits are relatively rare but you get enough of them to upgrade your favourite weapon or two. Side mission provide access to additional weapon upgrade kits.

    All in all, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus was very positive surprise for me. High quality production value with slightly funky story that does not take itself too seriously. Once I overcome initial problem with incompatible GPU drivers, the game run smoothly without any major issues. Visuals and sound are great, music fits the theme and some tunes were outstanding. Gameplay is fast-pace with clear focus on combat with light elements of stealth that never felt cumbersome. Enemy AI is serviceable but it will not amaze you.    … Expand

    While it loses some of the elements of the new order that made it so great from a technical perspective it's very positive. The story is underwhelming but it isn't the main focus here. The gameplay hasn't changed much since the previous game which isn't a bad thing however some alterations would have been preferred.

Similarly, if you are offended by the notion of the game addressing collaboration with the Nazi regime as well as the complacency of society towards it, it is probably worth taking a crash course in history. It is true that not all the characters and motifs work in The New Colossus' over-the-top story, but the complaints that some offended internet warriors have labeled against it are quite ridiculous.

    With that out of the way, I would first list the aspects of the game that I found lacking:

    - level design is not nearly as inspired or complex as in the New Order or even The Old Blood
    - while the cutscenes are exceptional for the most part, it would be worth the extra effort not to have them pre-rendered in an uneven quality but be done in-engine.
    -while the game is not short in its own right, playtime does feel significantly reduced compared to the New Order.
    - the Oberkommando assassination missions are a repetitive and mostly redundant addition; the energy and resources would have been better spent in making the original levels larger and more engaging.
    - this is a very subjective and personal gripe, but I hated the cocky heavy metal music track during the end titles. They could have stuck with something much more subtle yet powerful. Given the game's retro vibe, I'm sure MachineGames would have been more than able to come up with better ideas.

    On the positive side (and there are plenty):

    + most of the game's characters are well-written and great attention is given to small story beats that make them feel unique. i found Sigrun particularly brilliant from beginning to end.
    + game maintains the outlandish retro-futuristic vibe of its predecessor very well.
    + even though the levels are uninspiring, the settings are impressive and varied, especially some off-beat parts exploring the main hero's past and his acting skills...
    + despite it being beyond ridiculous and jumping the shark several times, the story still manages to deliver a good mixture of strong narrative and character moments.
    + game ran flawlessly on mid-tier hardware (only issue I encountered was a buggy sky box at points).
    + gun play is just as visceral and effective as in the New Order and Old Blood.

    While the New Colossus may not be as fresh and surprising, nor as grand in its level design as its predecessors were, it continues the series' MO of filling B.J. Blazkowicz's outlandish story with attention to characters and world-building. Combined with the swift and visceral gameplay, this makes MachineGames' new project yet another game that no single player lover should miss.    … Expand

It had a better story, was much more tense, had more diverse guns. In this game, story tried really hard to be something more what it was in the first, and in my mind, it failed. It had some spectacular moments, like the execution scene, which was well written, but there was just lack of inspiration. Like if there was something holding back the dev team. The music is also as great as in the first one, but not as diverse. They tried making the game more interesting with these body upgrades, but I felt this as a gimmick from the time I first used them, so I haven't really continued using them, because I did not felt as bad-a$$ as I felt in the first game. This made me feel a super hero, which B.J. clearly isn't. For the first half of the game, B.J. is so depressed by his own destroyed body, that it even gave me the same feeling. I felt miserable after a while, because I tend to concentrate on story elements and "be inside the game" when I play games driven by story. Even though you could dual wield any weapon you chose, I felt like the laser rifle, and that instant de-materialising weapon from the first one was much more thought out. I also did not like the 3 new Heavy guns(diesel, laser etc).
    The pre-ending was not interesting at all, with the huge battle on the airship. It was challenging, but not interesting. There were just a bunch of enemies spawned, nothing that interesting there. Oh and let's not forget the anti-climactic ending. I was hoping for an awesome boss-fight like in the first game, to make me want more, but I just didn't.
    The buildings and the level layout was better, looked much more polished, but in overall wasn't as varied as in the first one.

    Overall, I would like a new sequel for the game, because overall it was a good experience, but please think the story through much more, and bring back epic boss fights on the end.    … Expand

However, the combat is still by and large enjoyable, with reasonably well-balanced mechanics and decent weaponry (aside from the questionable decision to remove the option to toggle aiming down sights).

    What truly convinced me to this game though, is the absolutely brilliant production throughout. From world design, through dialogues and lip sync, all the way to cut-scenes, the game is very immersive, and made me enjoy the experience of playing it tremendously, even if I didn't enjoy the combat itself as much as in TNO. Some of the cut-scenes were really long, but they were so well-produced that they felt like genuine scenes from a movie! I think they worked perfectly in combination with the gameplay though; thankfully they didn't go overboard and make it into a full-blown movie.

    And a final shout-out goes to performance optimisation, which is maybe the best I've seen. Despite the game looking **** gorgeous, I got stable 160+ fps on max settings and 1080p on a GTX 1070. I genuinely can't remember a game where I'd get such high and stable fps throughout, let alone such a modern one.    … Expand

    cosas buenas del juego :

    -visualmente es mucho mejor que the old blood, lo jugué con una gtx 1050 y pudo correrlo a gráficos altos, en dificultad ahora si que era un desafió...y aun así lo disfrute como un buen manjar.

    -Combina todo de los anteriores wolfenstein pero lo mejora, el tener que encontrar herramientas de mejora para las armas esta muy bien, ya que eso le da mas cosa al juego para ser jugado una y otra vez.

    - los niveles están bien construidos, sonidos bien hechos.

    - la música es una maravilla sonora.

    - la ambientación es excelente.

    - Los artefactos que se obtienen después del inicio del juego son lo que mas me gusto, ya que dan la posibilidad de jugar de manera bastante creativa y de tener mejoras del personaje que son muy útiles en la dificultas ''soy la encarnación de la muerte'' para hacerlo todo un poco mas fácil.

    - es mucho mas frenético en gameplay, haciendo que te ponga mucho mas tenso y alerta a la hora de enfrentarte a hordas de enemigos.

    -la posibilidad de ir a por los Übercomandos es satisfactorio, dando la idea de estar liberando estados unidos de los Nazis es muy gratificante

    -el poder practicar la puntería en el Evas Hammer es muy bueno, ya que asi puedes mejorar para enfrentarte con mayor fluidez a los nazis.

    -los enemigos son bastante decentes, incluidos los supersoldados(de los cuales hablare cosas malas mas adelante).

    -las combinaciones de armas duales son variadas.

    -Dieselgehwer es una jugabilidad muy distinta a Laserkraftwerk, pero muy gratificante que da la posibilidad de ser un trampero total y de eliminar enemigos de manera mas sencilla.

    - Frau Engel como villana es una desgraciada hija de puta, ya que a la hora de idear sus planes es tan fría que te cuesta esperarte lo que pasara, es una mujer completamente trastornada que tiene un sentido del humor muy morboso, (spoiler)a la hora de matarla es demasiado satisfactorio y bello, el clavare un hacha entre medio de los ojos y verla agonizar ante unas palabras tan satisfactorias como "esto queda entre lobos".

    - la historia es decente.

    cosas malas del juego :

    -la I.A de los enemigos pudo mejorar para ser mas desafiante pero no parecían auténticos robots a la hora de moverse y morir, pudieron mejorar sus movimientos y hacerlos mucho mas fluidos y reales.

    -el numero de armas es limitado, teniendo muchas menos que en the new order o old blood.

    -los supersoldados pudieron ser mas prominentes y difíciles de matar. pero en Soy la encarnación de la muerte lograba matarlos solo descargando el cargador de la pistola con balas mágnum a la cabeza, se vuelven muy fáciles de matar y eso me molesto mucho comparado con los suepersoldados de the new order o old blood, que si eran verdaderamente difíciles de matar aun con laserkraftwerk que en the new order era un autentico pedazo de mierda que era de juguete.

    -esperaba que hubiera mas tiempo de juego, ya que 20 horas se me hicieron un poco cortas, si hubieran dejado jugar misiones de niño como Blaskowich hubiera sido increíble, ponernos en los zapatos de un terror Billy mas débil y pequeño con los problemas que tenia por su padre.

    -Laserkraftwerk esta op a niveles descomunales, pudiendo matar a casi todo el mundo de muy pocos disparos cuando se acompañaba de kampfpistole.

    -a veces se crasheaba sin razón aparente en un nivel en especifico que era en Rossewel bajo tierra, donde después de poner la bomba nuclear, aparecían los enemigos y crasheo

    -la historia podría haberse profundizado aun mas para poder sentir aun mas lastima de algunas muertes, la que la muerte de Super Spesh aunque me causo pena por ser alguien que ayudo bastante en la trama, me parece que desperdiciaron demasiado a otros personajes que pudieron dejar su huella.

    -recuerdan que les mencione que el juego duraba como 20 horas, pues resulta que en esas 20 horas, como en la mitad del mismo obtienes los artefactos que eran una maravilla para el estilo de juego que cada uno tiene y eso me pone de una rabia que ni se imaginan.

    - me hubiera gustado esperar mas de Frau Engel, ya que en the new order teníamos una autentica pelea de boss contra del profesor Death head, aquel enemigo aunque fuera un debilucho, si daba una buena pelea que podría ser recordada por dar inicio a los acontecimientos de the new collossus, puede que haya sido gratificante matar a esta nazi, pero las ganas de haber podido pelear contra ella en el estudio de grabación con todo lo que tiene me hubiera encantado para hacerlo mas memorable.    … Expand

    What where they thinking with that, I mean, why they put those toilet jokes? Why there are achievements for beating the game in Mein Leben, a literal meme difficulty? And most of all, why they messed up so hard with the good challange The New Order offered??? It is a good game, but it don't stand a chance agains the two previous entries MachineGames made to this awesome franchise.

    I gave this game a Zero on release because it crashed and gave black screen and was unplayable. After the first update the game works now smoothly have not had a problem yet with R9 290 at 1080p Ultra settings. Some of you may still have problem but I am speaking for me and my hardware.

    Der Season Pass ist ok, es gibt Episode 1 bis 3 mit je 3 Leveln, die in Comicstil erzählt werden und in jeder Episode hat man eine der Verbesserungen. Wenn man schnell ist brauch man pro Level 15 - 20 Minuten. Dann gibt es noch Episode 0, in der spielt man auch drei Level, in Level 1 ist es der Charakter aus Episode 1, in Level 2 den aus Episode 2 und in 3 den aus 3. Episode 0 steht ganz vorne, ist zum vorstellen der Charaktere, aber was ich hier zu kritisieren habe ist, dass es ca. das halbe Level eines Level der Charakterepisoden ist, man spielt nach Epsiode 0 quasi nur noch 2,5 Level pro Episode. Es ist einfach doof, das gerade gespielte nochmal zu spielen, man denkt sich einfach, oh hier war ich doch schon...

    Man muss den Season Pass ja nicht kaufen, aber wenn es einen gibt, sollte man auch was komplett vernünftiges abliefern. Wenn man noch mehr Geld möchte dann nicht nur 80% Mühe geben und Gedanken machen.    … Expand

    This is an excellent yet bizarre addition to the wolfenstein franchise which on paper should be a mess but is in fact a technical marvel with a very entertaining / dramatic / disturbing story combining walking simulator elements with doom like chaotic shootouts.

I still have the side missions and DLC to do but the campaign is done. The gameplay was fun but nothing special, I felt there was a lack of weapons and I didn't get anywhere near enough upgrade kits to modify even half of my weapons and I never felt particularly strong? Especially when getting instakilled by a headshot on normal difficulty, I just never felt like a Nazi slaying badass. I did like the inclusion of melee kills but in general the gameplay felt like Doom 2016 just not quite as good, and that feeling also extended to performance, while Wolfenstein 2 ran perfectly fine for the most part there were multiple areas that ran terribly for no notable reason (going from an average of 100fps to 30-40fps). One of the cooler set pieces was also ruined by performance problems due to the game having issues with fire apparently. The game also crashed every time I tried to alt+tab out. I was expecting much better on this front considering Doom 2016 ran maxed out at 100 - 144fps and felt so crisp throughout.

    Overall I was a little disappointed, especially as it started so well, it's not a bad game by any means, but I expected more, and I definitely expected it to run better than it did. I do wish I had waited for a deeper sale now, £25 for 7 hours (maybe another hour from the side missions) just isn't worth it to me, and we all know it'll hit £15 at some point, and at that price point it would be good value.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Before I could properly play the game, the game itself crashed my graphic drivers. I spent 2 hours, looking how to fix that, and all I had to do was, I just had to turn off motion blur.
    Game itself is meh. Stealth got ruined, if your shot is not well placed and an enemy spots you, that's it, the alarm will go up. Enemies can easily spot you and instantly alarm goes on, stealth mechanics in TNO were way better. You will not be able to complete a level 100% stealth. New guns feel weak, they sound like guns from CoD. Storytelling is kinda ok, but they push leftist agenda over proper storytelling.

    The leader of Kreisau circle dies, her place is taken by most unlikable character ever. Grace. MachineGames probably tried to make her look cool and badass, but I hated her, she tries to be a leader, she swears a lot, tells everyone what to do, and it made me cringe so hard. Creators of the game pushed most of that agenda through her (how America is weak and submitted to Nazi's, white people are racist, it's men's fault that Manhattan got nuked, "balls of steel" is a term, that Grace thinks should be more feminine and doesn't like that and the only ones that put up a fight against Nazis are mostly black people, so on and so on). From a zero-f*ck giving Nazi killing machine, Blazkowicz got turned into a little-b*tch, that constantly whines about everything. Internet is full of political correctness and such, I expected to play a game where I can brutally murder Nazi's but instead I got a game, where political correctness, anti-white propaganda is showed down your throat. Soundtracks aren't heavy metal anymore, which pumped me up in TNO, instead it's some loud music, even doing stealth plays. When you f*ck up during stealth in TNO, heavy metal starts playing. But here, the same type of music is playing throughout the level. Heavy enemies, for example supersoldaten are less threatening, and its enough to shoot half a clip of submachine gun into his head to kill him.

    During the section where you find out who is sending signals, Supersoldaten that are in Section F are the new type of Supersoldaten, not the old ones. Same goes for the new type of cyber-dogs, that you kill in a sealed off section of the U-Boat, when you try to close a gas leak. You can see how low of an effort was put in.

    During the most dangerous missions (for example the New Orleans one), Anya tags along with Fergus (or Wyatt) to help him. Now, what the actual f*ck. The U-boat is FULL OF REBELS, but instead they send Anya, who is pregnant WITH TWINS to fight the war! What about Bombate or many other "fighters"?

    Overall, the game is a flop. Storywise it's a huge flop, because it has many plotholes in it, gameplay wise it's a flop too, because the stealth is ruined, guns are weak, enemies are not threatening. MachineGames f*cked up for good, and this shows, that you shouldn't get hyped up for a game. I got stuck at levels, because I didn't know where to go, because there were no proper objective markers. And the most annoying were U-boat intersections, because U-boat is a labyrinth, and you have to navigate your way through it, doing side quests and whatnot.    … Expand

    Since, I'm playing the PC(Steam) version, I suffered several crashes, which forced me to replay missions occasionally. My PC isn't the fastest, but I believe its more than enough to handle this game. (i5-4690K @ 3.5Ghz, RX 580 8GB)

    New Colossus is still a GOOD shooter, despite my issues with the game. But New Order, in my humble opinion, was still far, FAR superior than this sequel.

    Now coming to the performance side I ran it on a PC with a GTX 1060 3GB and I faced severe VRAM usage issue hoffing almost 3GB on medium setting . Frame rate stays solid 60 with V-SYNS OFF resulting in annoying screen tering . Apart from these if the camera is focused on specific areas the framerate dropped drasticall if the V-Sync is kept on . I'll recommed everyone to play this game on a console as it is better optimized .

    Finally , although it didn't live up to my expectation . I'll still recommed any wolfesntein fans to play this game for for it does right which is solid shooting mechanics .    … Expand

    Fast-paced and shooter with an interesting story. A ton to collect and upgrade. The only thing that really bugs me, is the platinum trophy, which is simply impossible. Why? You have to finish the game in one attempt on (8-12 hours) "Mein Leben", which means the difficulty is extremely hard, no checkpoints, savepoints but permadeath. A bit exaggerated and a turn-off for trophy hunters.

    It's close to being a great game, but the main complaint I have is length. You can finish the game in 10 or so hours (with 100% collection of all side quests with mechanical benefits). So, its fun, but not enough "bang for the buck" so to speak.

Lack of many features in gameplay (like overkilling cold weapon wield enemy with knife, shooting from rope when climbing a wall, exploring different area and not just a submarine) and lack of that mood which cutscene of Wolfenstein the new order was able to achieve via innovative storytelling which in this case turned to predictable story; turned experiencing Wolfenstein II for a hyped fan like me a little disappointing.
    Also turning shooting from cover something not necessary according to some changes in gameplay which made Wolfenstein something like Doom somehow; plus not having new and memorable enemies and boss fights are another down part.
    Anyway in my perspective, if you are not a hype fan of the new order; it is a decent game and a recommended one.    … Expand

    The continuation of a good FPS. No better and no worse than the first part. This is still an interesting shooter with an interesting world and idea.
    Unusual staging in cutscenes and excellent shootout won't let you get bored. Also interesting characters (especially Blazkowicz) help you to love this game. But useless stealth spoils a lot!!
    And i don't love FPS so much, so only 7.

Самая, что ни на есть, средняя игра, поначалу не мог понять как можно было так обосраться после TNO, но впоследствии, разобравшись в игровой механике и привыкнув в игре в новом обличье, разочарование почти ушло, однако косяков все равно очень много.

    Начну с плюсов:

    1. Сюжет довольно насыщенный, местами за сюжетными твистами наблюдал просто с отвисшей челюстью, однако абсурдных моментов более, чем достаточно, но о них будет сказано позже в минусах.
    2. Разнообразие между локациями и их дизайном в отличии от TNO, где многие локации казались похожими друг на друга.
    3. Графическая составляющая также ощутимее лучше, чем в TNO и TOB, даже в 2020 картинка выглядит вполне неплохо.
    4. Добавили возможность улучшения оружия, которой не хватало в TNO. Пусть улучшений не так много как хотелось бы, однако они являются весьма существенными в геймплее.
    5. Сделали возможность выбора разных оружий в разные руки, а не оружий одного типа, как это было в TNO, что также делает геймплей более вариативным.

    Теперь касаемо минусов:

    1. Как уже было сказано выше, в сюжете есть нереально абсурдные моменты, в эти моменты не понимаешь, кто только пропустил их в игру - передвижение на коляске на двигающихся платформах в самом начале игры, потеря Фергюсом (так как я выбрал его) руки без истошных криков, как будто человек каждый день теряет руку, участие Ани в самом экшене игры (кто, блять, пустил бы беременную в самый эпицентр боевых действий?) и прочие моменты, которые должны были быть изменены, но изменены не были.
    2. Несоответствие сюжетных моментов лору - зачем омолодили Бласковица, который в TNO выглядел намного старше? Также, так как я проходил TNO недавно, в концентрационном лагере Энгель говорила, что у нее 5 или 6 сыновей, но тогда откуда взялась Зигрун?
    3. Несмотря на то, что разработчики добавили возможность выбора разного оружия в разных руках, колесо выбора очень неудобное, погружение ломается полностью, когда тебе в пылу битвы приходится "зависать", чтобы выбрать нужную тебе комбинацию оружия.
    4. На высоких уровнях сложности непонятно, когда ты умираешь, "красный" экран появляется слишком поздно, когда тебе не хватает 1-3 выстрелов до гибели из-за чего внезапные смерти местами просто выбешивали.
    5. Русская озвучка полное дерьмо, игра с ней абсолютно не чувствуется в отличии от оригинальной, которая такая, какая она должна быть.
    6. Нарушение канона любого экшена - в концовке нет битвы с боссом?! Бой с двумя роботами и солдатами за 10 минут до убийства Энгель не может считаться за финальную битву, это просто смешно!

    По итогу игра заслуживает 6-7 баллов, как раз ту среднюю оценку, которая у нее стоит, ни больше, ни меньше. Если поиграть не во что и есть возможность купить ее с хорошей скидкой, то она стоит того, но за полную ее цену - точно нет.    … Expand

Gameplay is smoother than before and I liked it the most, the sad part about gameplay is that guns dont feel powerful and you end up using only one gun.     Guns , Gameplay is enjoyable .
    But , Story is very very bad and boring .
    Just play this game as a shooter , without looking at the story .

    На смену умному и меланхоличному оригиналу пришел туповатый боевичок с жопно-пердежным юмором, но посвежевшем геймплеем, благодаря которому шутер стал увлекательнее. Остальное, не учитывая кор-геймплей - проходняк

    Pretty solid game. But not at the level of the previous two titles. The combat was great. I played on Do or Die and the courtroom section was pretty hard. Bethesda should make improvements on titles for PC for people running the game above 60 fps. I was getting 200+ fps which caused some glitches in map which cannot be completed unless you cap your fps to 60. All in all a decent title butPretty solid game.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Cutscenes. lots of Cutscenes. I was screaming at my monitor by the end of the game, how dare they put those moments in grainy, 30FPS, 720p cutscenes. even a quick time event would have been preferable.
    The gameplay is a little rough. They took TNO's gameplay, and applied sandpaper. Stealth is pointless now, you aren't going to be able to successfully stealth it, yet the game features so heavily on commanders and stealth kills.
    The story is OK. not quite as grasping as the previous games, and quite wishy washy and muddied.
    Back to cutscenes. so many cutscenes. anything important that happens is in a cutscene, and this is a shame. there are many beautiful interactive moments back at the home base, and it is a shame this wasn't expanded to the rest of the game. Of course certain scenes have to be cutscenes, but there were far to many.
    Lets also not forget the "it as only a dream" level. And how there are many obvious open ended plot points (and a few plotholes that only a second playhtouigh may clear up)
    As for the bugs, the game ran very smooth for me on a mid-high PC, but a few issues with mouse pointer popping up, broken level waypoints and the odd texture / mesh glitch. two hard crashes (during cutscenes, now you see why i'm not keen on them!)
    Either way, 15 hours of entertainment, may consider trying to 100% it, don't feel empty, but don't feel full (and i'm someone who very much focuses on 100% games)
    Its not the bombastic power fest that TNO was, but a steadier gentler trudge through the Wolfenstein world.    … Expand

    Honestly, a wonderful game that is let down by half-baked concepts and a maybe rushed development. The narrative is way too fast-paced and too high-concept, feels like Quentian Tarantino porn. This game really needed a tighter, more conclusive, narrative. Maybe add side-quests to flesh out each of the main characters so it feels more complete.

    Shooter of the year! It plays great, looks spectacular and sounds amazing. What’s more, despite an apparent lack of seriousness it’s not afraid to bring up difficult subjects, mixing comedy and tragedy in a stunning way. It’s a ridiculously good game. [13/2017, p.30]
