    What where they thinking with that, I mean, why they put those toilet jokes? Why there are achievements for beating the game in Mein Leben, a literal meme difficulty? And most of all, why they messed up so hard with the good challange The New Order offered??? It is a good game, but it don't stand a chance agains the two previous entries MachineGames made to this awesome franchise.

    Wonderful!!

    The messages of the game will always be strong and apply to any moment in history, making it a really timeless game. Gameplay brought some new novelties and it's fun, but what makes this a good game is the charming characters, the powerful plot and the details in each scene. A great game that will certainly leave anyone satisfied with the experience. As of now, the game runs    Wonderful!!

    отличная графика, но мыльновата, харизматичные персонажи, геймплей классиеческий, но весьма хороший, отличная музыка, сюжет бодрый, но трешовый, можно было бы больше уйти в драмму гг, хороший крепкий и интересный шутер

    Ein wirklich verdammt guter Shooter!
    Viel besser als der erste Teil, es ist so unglaublich flüssig, das hätte ich nach all dem was Bethesda sonst so abliefert nicht gedacht. Es ist sehr einfach gehalten, so dass man nicht großartig Kombos oder sonstiges lernen muss. Das Komplizierteste ist dann wohl das Waffenrad.     Der Season Pass ist ok, es gibt Episode 1 bis 3 mit je 3 Leveln, die in Comicstil erzählt werden und in jeder Episode hat man eine der Verbesserungen. Wenn man schnell ist brauch man pro Level 15 - 20 Minuten. Dann gibt es noch Episode 0, in der spielt man auch drei Level, in Level 1 ist es der Charakter aus Episode 1, in Level 2 den aus Episode 2 und in 3 den aus 3. Episode 0 steht ganz vorne, ist zum vorstellen der Charaktere, aber was ich hier zu kritisieren habe ist, dass es ca. das halbe Level eines Level der Charakterepisoden ist, man spielt nach Epsiode 0 quasi nur noch 2,5 Level pro Episode. Es ist einfach doof, das gerade gespielte nochmal zu spielen, man denkt sich einfach, oh hier war ich doch schon...

    Man muss den Season Pass ja nicht kaufen, aber wenn es einen gibt, sollte man auch was komplett vernünftiges abliefern. Wenn man noch mehr Geld möchte dann nicht nur 80% Mühe geben und Gedanken machen.    … Expand

    Reading the "Most Helpful" reviews, I see people from 2017 complaining about performance issues and bugs but when I played all 3 games back in 2021 this one seemed to perform the best for me actually.

    I love the newly rebooted Wolfenstein franchise (excluding the fourth game). If you're thinking about playing this game for the first time, then first play the game and then read all the negative comments from those b1tches and decide for yourself.    … Expand

    خیلی خوب بود، مثل قبلی هاش داستان خوبی داشت تازه بهتر و سینماتیک هم شده بود
    از سیستم ارتقا تفنگ هاش خوشم اومد باحال بود
    یکمی شوترش آخراش واسم حوصله سر بر شده بود ولی خوب بود فرقی با قبلی ها نداشت پایان بندی خیلی خوب هیجان انگیزی داشت در کل بازی خوبی بود.    خیلی خوب بود، مثل قبلی هاش داستان خوبی داشت تازه بهتر و سینماتیک هم شده بود

    Great sequel to a masterpiece. Combat is well done, brings a lot of challange and still remains fun experience. The story isn't as intriguing as in the New Order, mostly because it feeds on what's best of it's predecessor and adds more or less interesting gags, which make the game from time to time feel like a parody of the previous entry. Maps are diverse, vast and provide a lot ofGreat sequel to a masterpiece. Combat is well done, brings a lot of challange and still remains fun experience. The main "base", which is Eva's Hammer, feels like a maze even after 10-20 hours of gameplay which is pretty annoying.     A really good sequel but certainly not as good as the first one, but it has a really unique and amazing story and the gameplay is still solid.
    Enjoy the story for how much of a got punch it is at the Beginning well. BJ is just losing the will to fight but still moving towards it in autopilot game really enjoyed the story all the way through

    my problems with the game is there's no New Game Plus so it's not a specifying to play the game again with all your perks on dark and the game is a bit more story than game for my liking. I think it is about 25/75 percent gameplay.
    I prefer the tone in the first one word filter more ground. Weird stuff still happend But always feels like you were still in our world. Just more f***** up when in this one. It feels like we have went a bit more into the fantasy.    … Expand

    Ve oynanış süresine gelirsek 6-7 saate bitirdim geçen oyun gibi dolu dolu gamepasstede var oynayın

    Hikayesine gelirsek :Oyunun hikayesi New Order’ın bittiği yerden başlıyor bu yüzden de hikayeye hiç yabancılık çekmiyorsunuz. Ana karakteri B.J. Blazkowicz, General Strasse ile verdiği kavgadan çok ağır yaralarla birlikte kurtulmayı başarıyor fakat arkadaşlarının kurtulması için kendisi arkada kalmayı göze alıyor ve arkadaşlarına bulunduğu üssü bombalamasını söylüyor. Sonrasında ise kendini yavaş yavaş ölmeye hazırlıyor fakat Blazkowicz’in arkadaşları Blazkowicz’in fedakarlık yapmasına müsade etmiyor ve geri dönüp Blazkowicz’i kurtarmayı seçiyorlar. Bu seçenek her ne kadar riskli olsa da arkadaşları Blazkowicz’i başarılı bir şekilde kurıyor ve Nazilerden çaldıkları U-Boat’a dönmeyi başarıyorlar. Durumu ağır olan Blazkowicz 5 ay kendine gelemiyor ve komada kalıyor. Kendine geldiğinde ise Nazilerin saldırısı ile karşı karşıya kalıyor. Strasse ile verdiği kavga sonrası hayatta kalacağını bile ummayan Blazkowicz, hissettiği tüm acılara rağmen bunları görmezden gelip yaptığı en iyi işi yapmaya devam ediyor; Nazi öldürmek. Blazkowicz ve arkadaşlarına saldıran general ise New Order’da ağzını yamulttuğumuz Frau Engel’in ta kendisi. Strasse’nin ölümü sonrası Blazkowicz tüm Nazilerin düşmanı oluyor ve hepsinin gözünde Terror-Billy ismiyle bir numaralı terörist konumuna yükseliyor. Blazkowicz’in Engel ile olan geçmişi ve Engel’in önemli bir general olduğu göze alındığında Terror-Billy’i yakalama görevinin kendisine verilmiş olması gayet normal görünüyor. İlk karşılaştıklarında elinden kaçırdığı Blazkowicz’i bu sefer yakalamaya niyetli olan Frau Engel, ekibin U-Boat’una Nazilerin elindeki en güçlü savaş aracı ile saldırıp Blazkowicz’in arkadaşlarını esir alıyor ve Blazko’nun yumuşak karnına basıyor. Bunun üzerine Blazko arkadaşlarının esir düştüğünü öğrendiğinde 5 ay önce yaptığı gibi yine kendini feda edip ölümün kollarına atlıyor.

    Much better than WOLFENSTEIN THE NEW ORDER.
    This game has more cut-scene (and of better quality), more over the top humor (a little like Fallout), faster combat, interesting (and strange) peoples (enemy and supporters), very large bosses
    Story and drama are also present.

    harika bir oyundu. sinematikleri çok güzeldi. aksiyonu boldu. fakat orta zorlukta oynamama rağmen kolaydı. güçlü silahları toplayıp elde tutarsanız bölümü geçmek çok basit oluyor. silahları merdiven çıkarken bırakmak garip bir hata. hiç sıkılmadım. tavsiye ederim. nvidia 770m ile 960p çözünürlük high-medium ayarlar ile ortalama 30-40 fps aldım.

On that one, it took me like 2 weeks to do a 12hr playthrough, i had to force myself to finish it This one, 11hr playtrhough in a weekend Much better graphics, gameplay is much smoother and more fun, story still crazy, but the emotinal moments actually connected and were well delivered, something that really failed on The New    Score: 8.4

    Really beautiful, great shooter, can play it with stealth or Doom style.
    Good duration and replay value.
    Still one of my favourite shooters in 2022.

    I gave this game a Zero on release because it crashed and gave black screen and was unplayable. After the first update the game works now smoothly have not had a problem yet with R9 290 at 1080p Ultra settings. Some of you may still have problem but I am speaking for me and my hardware.

    Four years later and this game still looks beautiful. The New Colossus is an unquestionable next-gen sequel coming from The New Order and Old Blood, made with better graphics, gunplay, sound effects and complementary gameplay mechanics across the board.

    The level design and story structure is a good mix between the previous two titles, combining the adrenaline-filled pacing of TNO and    Four years later and this game still looks beautiful. The New Colossus is an unquestionable next-gen sequel coming from The New Order and Old Blood, made with better graphics, gunplay, sound effects and complementary gameplay mechanics across the board.

    The level design and story structure is a good mix between the previous two titles, combining the adrenaline-filled pacing of TNO and the map traversal of TOB. Unfortunately the ending did kinda disappoint, but the experience getting there was fun.    … Expand

    A fun game; I didn’t run into any problems with bugs that some people reported, perhaps they’ve been ironed out by now. Yeah it’s a little PC but not as bad as people are complaining.

    Having played through The New Order and The Old Blood just prior to this, I was initially a bit disappointed, as in terms of purity of the shooter experience this game is far behind its predecessors. However, the combat is still by and large enjoyable, with reasonably well-balanced mechanics and decent weaponry (aside from the questionable decision to remove the option to toggle aiming down sights).

    What truly convinced me to this game though, is the absolutely brilliant production throughout. From world design, through dialogues and lip sync, all the way to cut-scenes, the game is very immersive, and made me enjoy the experience of playing it tremendously, even if I didn't enjoy the combat itself as much as in TNO. Some of the cut-scenes were really long, but they were so well-produced that they felt like genuine scenes from a movie! I think they worked perfectly in combination with the gameplay though; thankfully they didn't go overboard and make it into a full-blown movie.

    And a final shout-out goes to performance optimisation, which is maybe the best I've seen. Despite the game looking **** gorgeous, I got stable 160+ fps on max settings and 1080p on a GTX 1070. I genuinely can't remember a game where I'd get such high and stable fps throughout, let alone such a modern one.    … Expand

    + Great Switch port.
    + Amazing voice acting and music.

    The Bad:
    - Occasional and frustrating difficulty balancing issues.
    - Little to no innovation in gameplay.
    - Very short.

Yes, instead of Carolyn Baker, we now have a bunch of colorful brothers and sisters. But, everything else works as it should.     This game is the best Wolfenstein game I have played and it is better than Wolfenstein: The New Order in every way. People are complaining about performance issues but I ran it great with a mid-tier setup.

    Had a great time with this. Interesting story with a blend of intense and funny moments. Great action and enough varying mechanics to keep you interesting. Worth playing.

    cosas buenas del juego :

    -visualmente es mucho mejor que the old blood, lo jugué con una gtx 1050 y pudo correrlo a gráficos altos, en dificultad ahora si que era un desafió...y aun así lo disfrute como un buen manjar.

    -Combina todo de los anteriores wolfenstein pero lo mejora, el tener que encontrar herramientas de mejora para las armas esta muy bien, ya que eso le da mas cosa al juego para ser jugado una y otra vez.

    - los niveles están bien construidos, sonidos bien hechos.

    - la música es una maravilla sonora.

    - la ambientación es excelente.

    - Los artefactos que se obtienen después del inicio del juego son lo que mas me gusto, ya que dan la posibilidad de jugar de manera bastante creativa y de tener mejoras del personaje que son muy útiles en la dificultas ''soy la encarnación de la muerte'' para hacerlo todo un poco mas fácil.

    - es mucho mas frenético en gameplay, haciendo que te ponga mucho mas tenso y alerta a la hora de enfrentarte a hordas de enemigos.

    -la posibilidad de ir a por los Übercomandos es satisfactorio, dando la idea de estar liberando estados unidos de los Nazis es muy gratificante

    -el poder practicar la puntería en el Evas Hammer es muy bueno, ya que asi puedes mejorar para enfrentarte con mayor fluidez a los nazis.

    -los enemigos son bastante decentes, incluidos los supersoldados(de los cuales hablare cosas malas mas adelante).

    -las combinaciones de armas duales son variadas.

    -Dieselgehwer es una jugabilidad muy distinta a Laserkraftwerk, pero muy gratificante que da la posibilidad de ser un trampero total y de eliminar enemigos de manera mas sencilla.

    - Frau Engel como villana es una desgraciada hija de puta, ya que a la hora de idear sus planes es tan fría que te cuesta esperarte lo que pasara, es una mujer completamente trastornada que tiene un sentido del humor muy morboso, (spoiler)a la hora de matarla es demasiado satisfactorio y bello, el clavare un hacha entre medio de los ojos y verla agonizar ante unas palabras tan satisfactorias como "esto queda entre lobos".

    - la historia es decente.

    cosas malas del juego :

    -la I.A de los enemigos pudo mejorar para ser mas desafiante pero no parecían auténticos robots a la hora de moverse y morir, pudieron mejorar sus movimientos y hacerlos mucho mas fluidos y reales.

    -el numero de armas es limitado, teniendo muchas menos que en the new order o old blood.

    -los supersoldados pudieron ser mas prominentes y difíciles de matar. pero en Soy la encarnación de la muerte lograba matarlos solo descargando el cargador de la pistola con balas mágnum a la cabeza, se vuelven muy fáciles de matar y eso me molesto mucho comparado con los suepersoldados de the new order o old blood, que si eran verdaderamente difíciles de matar aun con laserkraftwerk que en the new order era un autentico pedazo de mierda que era de juguete.

    I thought this game was excellent, decent stealth, fun gameplay, excellent level design. The story is pretty good, they certainly jump the shark at a certain point, but raising the stakes is always a good thing in a pulpy, campy game like this IMO.

    Overall seems like an improved version of Wolfenstein - The New Order. Has good replay value.

    I don't like the new weapon switching, but got used to it.

    I experienced FPS drops/glitches where sometimes when I load the game I would get 1/3rd the normal FPS.

    Sound quality isn't great, similar to the previous game.

    Great game, better then Doom 2016 which was total garbage in my opinion. The best performance i got in ages on my low end amd gpu. I would like to see BJ's psychopathy getting addressed in a future dlc.

The post-war enviroments combined with some very cool soundtracks and sound design make for a great atmosphere which makes just simply moving around in the world a delight.

    Another thing I loved is how lovable each character in the story is. Everyone feels really fleshed out, there's great chemistry between the Kreisau members and the voice acting is top-notch! The cinematics between gameplays are great especially during some wonderfully done comedic moments.

    BAD

    Wolfenstein II is very badly optimized and extremely demanding. Even though I have more powerful hardware than the recommended requirements I still had to lower Image Streaming down 2 levels to High and Shadow Quality down 1 level to Ultra. Even then I still had some very noticeable FPS drops in certain expansive areas. I had just upgraded my PC specifically so I could play this game on max, so this was very disappointing.

    Furthermore, for a game that gives you the power to be a hardcore killing machine it gives you very little opportunities to fully unleash your fury and shoot and destroy to your heart's content. In quite a few action sequences I was like "yeaah finally let's shoot some nazis bang bang die die!" and 20 seconds later everyone is dead. I mean, the action was still satisfying, but I felt like much more could have been done by letting you go on an insane killing spree every once in a while.    … Expand

A more open-worldy approach that facilitate infiltration and allows for a wider variety of approaches. I also liked that the devs did not compromise on the politically incorrectness of the first Wolfenstein in order to attract a wider public

    Cons: BJ is weak in this game, pathetically weak. Unlike the first game, where you could charge groups of ennemies and tackle them quite easlily, a few of them will overwhelm you fast here and you'll get killed pretty quickely. This negates part of the fun that comes from the wider maps approach, and can sometimes be infuriating.

    Spoil: also, the part on Venus was obvioulsy rushed, and not nearly as good as the part on the Moon in The New Order.    … Expand

    Great Experience. Love killing Nazis! I don't get why there are so many reviews complaining about bugs and performance issues. I'm running this game on ultra settings at 1080p and I'm getting constant 144 fps+ with no frame drops with an i5-4690K and GTX 1080.

    Great game with an interesting story, astonishing visual effects, charismatic characters, and kick-ass soundtrack. Bethesda could have made a better PC port, though — I was really frustrated with the bugs and crashes I have had to encounter during my walkthrough. With all these nice words regarding this title, I would love to see the next game and I am looking forward to playing it.

Watching the characters talk and move feels so much more natural and realistic than any other video game I've ever played. The added abilities and perks and upgrades are very welcome, as is the more immersive story and brutal violence. This is Wolfenstein on steroids, with some Saints Row level crazy antics. It's shocking. It's comical. It's badass. It's a rich game world (some of the collectibles' references to Donald Trump are hilarious). It's fast-paced and action-packed. What more could you want!?

    On a technical level, the game also runs well and looks great, though it requires some tweaking to get the best out of it. After much experimentation, I'm managing to achieve a stable 60 FPS using mixed settings (mostly on Ultra) with a GTX 1060 6GB, i5-3470, 12GB DDR3-1600 MHz RAM at 4K (2160p) resolution (albeit with 42% resolution scale)! Though to be honest, the game doesn't look significantly better than Wolfenstein The New Order, and that's coming form someone who played it on Xbox One (though it was one of the first and only shooters to achieve 1080p60 on console, at least at the time). The only real complaint with the graphics is the unsually low texture quality. Perhaps this is a bug or some graphics setting but the textures are definitely inconsistent in quality both between and within levels.

    Finally I have to give this game much praise for something absurdly simple yet practically a godsend: the loading times. I have it installed on an external 7200 RPM hard drive, and it is a big game obviously. Yet after disabling the intro movies (easily done by renaming the video file), from the moment I press "Play" on Steam I can be in the level within 20 seconds. Better yet, when you die (which will happen quite often on the hardest difficulties), you'll be thankful that the game doesn't mess about with ridiculously long death animations. It immediately reloads the last save when your health goes to 0. And guess how long this takes on a mechanical hard drive? About 2 or 3 seconds. Combine this with the ability to save the game at literally any moment along with your progress saving between deaths for things like perk unlocks, collectibles, upgrades etc. and you have a game where you can easily die a hundred times on the same checkpoint and not feel frustrated whatsoever!

    I don't usually write reviews for games before I finish at least the main campaign, but for Wolfenstein: The New Colossus I don't feel I need to see any more to warrant a recommendation. With so many disappointments and shady business practices in the current gaming industry, Wolfenstein II is a shining beacon that reminds us how simple it is to make a great video game. You don't need to re-invent the wheel or do anything drastically different. With incremental improvements in many areas and continuing the story (and without censorship!), improving the game world and not littering the game with microtransactions, whilst keeping features which add value such as challenge modes (and not shovelling in a half-baked multiplayer just because it's a first-person shooter), Wolfenstein II is surely the de-facto standard for modern single-player first-person shooters. It stays true to its legacy yet moves the franchise forward; arguably more so than the similar DOOM (2016).

    My only complaints after finishing the game are the crashes which seem to happen more regularly, the unimproved graphics and worst of all, the complete lack of any changes to the already basic scoring system in the challenge mode.    … Expand

Well, as least was nice b4 incident with BJ head - I really was like sitting on needles and thinking - what is going to happen, how he will survive? This hade transport was ... err, I don't know, quite unbelievable. On the other side, Hitler was really cool :D
    As for gameplay - it is solid shooter without much strategic elements, quite challenging - I was playing on -1 of max difficulty. Many different weapons (tho tbh 90% of time I used rifle).

    Don't pay attention to the haters, the game is fun and the story and cutscenes are nice. For those criticizing BJ for being a " typical super hero " duhhh that's the whole point,anyways if you liked the previous two games you will surely enjoy this, but New Order was better.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I loved this game, but the first one was almost in all aspects better in my opinion. It had a better story, was much more tense, had more diverse guns. In this game, story tried really hard to be something more what it was in the first, and in my mind, it failed. It had some spectacular moments, like the execution scene, which was well written, but there was just lack of inspiration. Like if there was something holding back the dev team. The music is also as great as in the first one, but not as diverse. They tried making the game more interesting with these body upgrades, but I felt this as a gimmick from the time I first used them, so I haven't really continued using them, because I did not felt as bad-a$$ as I felt in the first game. This made me feel a super hero, which B.J. clearly isn't. For the first half of the game, B.J. is so depressed by his own destroyed body, that it even gave me the same feeling. I felt miserable after a while, because I tend to concentrate on story elements and "be inside the game" when I play games driven by story. Even though you could dual wield any weapon you chose, I felt like the laser rifle, and that instant de-materialising weapon from the first one was much more thought out. I also did not like the 3 new Heavy guns(diesel, laser etc).
    The pre-ending was not interesting at all, with the huge battle on the airship. It was challenging, but not interesting. There were just a bunch of enemies spawned, nothing that interesting there. Oh and let's not forget the anti-climactic ending. I was hoping for an awesome boss-fight like in the first game, to make me want more, but I just didn't.
    The buildings and the level layout was better, looked much more polished, but in overall wasn't as varied as in the first one.

    Overall, I would like a new sequel for the game, because overall it was a good experience, but please think the story through much more, and bring back epic boss fights on the end.    … Expand

    Some people here are taking this game way too serious... i found it a little repetitive but good and fun its like wolfenstein the new colossus was directed by Quentin Tarantino with lots of blood weird dialogue and situations if you played any previous wolfenstein you will probably enjoy this

    2. Final confrontation with the main villain wasn't very satisfying. It ended too fast and felt more like a prologue.
    3. While the story as a whole was enjoyable, it felt a little too short.

    WF2 is a good follow up to the previous game. The fighting is more fun, but maybe too bloody (no option to tone it down). But what I love even more was the more personal story and great description of the Nazi future world in general. I didn't care that it wasn't a realistic story (there are scifi elements in it) because the rest of the world is fun to discover. (I haven't played Wolf: New Order or New Blood yet, so I wasn't ready for the new iD's new Wolf games) This game addresses so many current social and political issues and smashes them in the face.     Much better story in here than I expected. Deep ties with characters, world history, etc. Dig in! There are actual characters, story and ideas contained in this game! Shocking, i know.

    System wise for the PC: smooth and stable for me. (i5-3570k, 16GB, GTX1080) Technically excellent, very stable, very beautifully done.

    BTW, There are no damn loot boxes in here!

    It's been a long time since I enjoyed a FPS as much as I did the New Colossus, I would place it right up near the top with some of the best ever FPS like Half life 2, Bioshock & Halo.

    Anyone who's allowing their own petty political views to taint their opinions on this or stop them from playing altogether deserves to miss out.

    Really wanted to love this game, but the performance is just terrible. It constantly freezes or crashes to desktop. If I don't completely restart my machine after a crash it runs at < 10 FPS. Yes, my drivers and directX are completely up to date. Yes I meet the minimum requirements. Running Doom 2016, Wolfenstein New Blood, Witcher 3 etc is no problem and look great.     Coated in some impressive visuals, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus' narrative shines with interesting characters and attention to details, despite some missed gameplay opportunities.

    After the first update the game works now smoothly have not had a problem yet with R9 290 at 1080p Ultra settings. Some of you may still have problem but I am speaking for me and my hardware.

    Shooter of the year! It plays great, looks spectacular and sounds amazing. What’s more, despite an apparent lack of seriousness it’s not afraid to bring up difficult subjects, mixing comedy and tragedy in a stunning way. It’s a ridiculously good game. [13/2017, p.30]
