    Так получилось, что Wolcen выглядит лучше, чем Diablo 4...Но игра в целом годная.

    Surprisingly good ARPG, finally with controller support. Seems to have had lots of bugs, but I didn't encounter any. Nice graphics, mechanics as expected, but fairly short.

    Как итог я бы скорее всего игру посоветовал, но ждать от нее ВАУ не стал бы. Моё мнение - это череда косяков разработчиков, которые больше огорчили старых игроков, чем новых.
    За фул прайс я бы не стал брать, но по скидке для прохождения в кооперативе, либо соло на несколько вечеров - самое то.     better graphics than diablo 4 bcouse of cry engine game but lesser gameplay than diablo 3. more vairarty good armors than diablo but lack of weapon variarty. have pistols not save that even. only 3 act with not feel open world. maps not make sense mostly. performance and visuals great. camera zooming kinda allow very end to push third person level and bcouse of visials intact can be butbetter graphics than diablo 4 bcouse of cry engine game but lesser gameplay than diablo 3. more vairarty good armors than diablo but lack of weapon variarty. have pistols not save that even. only 3 act with not feel open world. maps not make sense mostly. performance and visuals great. camera zooming kinda allow very end to push third person level and bcouse of visials intact can be but gameplay not allow. demon variarty also weak uses more metalic mechas like enmyies. still quite suprising to see cry engine like diablo style game and kinda success that quaite good for a fps forest engine. the prologe for once feels like a lord of the rings diablo game but rest not feels like that.… Expand

    I don't like gameplay of this game and I don't like the idea of using a mouse to attack in rpg games.

    A decent game. I like the ARPG genre, for sure wolcen is not among the best in the genre, but it was fun. Awesome graphics.

    This could have been a good game but it's done very bad. I'm not gonna tell about fps lags but about bad targeting(aiming forward but targeting enemy behind you), movement(you will be constantly stuck in things) and poor key reading(can't use healing potion before end of last animation and such a things) which are unforgiving in a diablo-like game. Also main story is a little bit cringy

The visuals are beautiful, the character, item,creature, enviroment design is incredibly detailed, the audio is good too, gameplay mechanics are incredibly fun, the story is interesting. The only problem with the game right now is that we currently can't access the online mode and some visual bugs here and there, but it will be probably solved soon. MaybeThe game itself is simply amazing. Ok, now let's talk about what made like the game despite the thing I've said here, the game has a solid gameplay, great sound design, and a skill tree mechanic that is outstanding, the liberty that the game gives you to create your builds is amazing, you can make characters from a simple warrior to a gunslinger mage, one of the best mechanics in this game is that there's no class! yes, you can choose what your first weapon and ability will be, but that does not limit you in which kind of weapon/armor/skills you can have, the story of the game (although it's not finished) is intriguing and interesting, and last but not least the visuals, the game uses the "Cryengine" (as the name suggests, the same one as crysys), which gives Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem the best ARPG graphics I've ever seen (at least until Diablo IV is out).… Expand

    I’m rating this game a 6 yes it buggy as hell but on release every arpg has a buggy release this game has a ton of potential I think it needs a little time

    The game is good and has potential. But story is made with hurry, and the game has a lot of bugs (mostly passives not working) and is not really balanced. Maybe in some months goes better

    Those plebs rating it 0 because they cant understand day 1 server load..
    Played on offline till they fix the servers, amazing game.

    EDIT: Game is still having issues it shouldnt.
    Updating rating to reflect disappointment.

    This game had a terrible launch and is basically unfinished, lack polish in almost every aspect and feels very clunky to play. On the other hand it looks great, have interesting story, some amazing set pieces, ok characters and generally has it's moments. It's not a total disaster, but I would probably recommend it once they actually finish it in a year or so.

    WOLCEN is a diamond in the rough. I haven't played a game so much in a few years. I can't stop playing it. Even in its buggy and unbalanced state, it is a ton of fun. If you like Diablo, POE and Grim Dawn then you have to get this! While I haven't lost any characters or armor sets, I have experienced the audio issues and act 3 boss froze a few times. While i particularly liked the fleshy parts, much of nature and architecture is boring. Especially nature maps are much, MUCH worse than even the venerable    "they tried" .. should be on the gravestone of Wolcen.

Especially nature maps are much, MUCH worse than even the venerable Titan Quest. All in all, they are not taking advantage of light and shadow properly to create a creepy/dark atmosphere. Things are too shiny, too bright .. like Diablo 3.

    the sound:
    ... is acceptable. It is certainly no revelation or an epiphany .. but it works.

    the gameplay:
    ... reminds me a little too much on Path of Exlie. The skill tree (PoE is better) and the scaling of damage and enemies was also very similar. Like PoE, you can easily work your way though thousands of weak mobs ... just to suddenly run into a boss that basically one-hits you. It takes a ton of ideas from PoE and Diablo 3 ... but misses the point a little.
    Item variety (the very core of the game) - is lackluster. Even the ancient old Diablo 2 has more variety to offer in my opinion. For Wolcen, it is just upgrades - but not really variety. It is all just stats, not exciting special effects or so.

    Conclusion:
    "an effort was made.." - is what i said about Titan Quest .. and Titan Quest clearly is the better game. Wolcen is not a bad game! - it is fun for a reasonable time.. but it is nowhere NEAR as good as Diablo 2 was .. and sadly, it is not near as good as even Diablo 3.

    Path of Exile plays in a different league in my opinion, because it is a F2P title with very different mechanics.    … Expand

    You can't fault the developers for trying but you can't shake off the feeling either that it's been an over-sized project for a too small of a team. The result has been a severe cut-down of features,that couldn't have been realized anyway given the limited resources,which were seemingly being replaced with boilerplate ARPG features instead. Between systems that barely seem to mesh together, noticeable bugs and a host of other gameplay issues especially in regards of balancing and skill functionality, you'll find a visually nicely crafted game that often gives you a feeling of déjà-vu in terms of gameplay and is held together by a continuously character-narrated story that didn't really capture me. However ARPG storylines are traditionally railroads to the final boss. I'm not sure whether any developer would like to see an "Okay" seal of approval for their work but it's sadly just that: an okay game especially once issues have been ironed out.… Expand

Most of the loot serves for money. The upgrade system seems fine but you hardly see it in the game. At least it's very hard to tell the difference. That game has bugs in it.     People that give this game a 10 are fanboys of the small indie studio that made this game. It is why I supported the game, too, but they are not being helpful by giving this game a 10. It was released too early. It is broken. It is not finished. They released the game because they ran out of money and are using the hyped release revenue to fix and finish the game.     The game is 80% Diablo 3 (they even copied a very iconic boss fight...), and 20% Path of Exile.

    CONS: UI is broken. You can't quickly sell items in your inventory, because if you click too fast, the system does not register your mouse click. Certain actions like interacting with a vendor, and then hovering over an item in your inventory will not bring up the item's info window. You have to sort of click somewhere in your inventory screen in order for the system to activate it, and then the info window will pop up when you hover over an item. You cannot rapidly click through your skills when fighting either. And if you button spam, it will cast and cancel the spell you were trying to use. There is no item trading with your friends, no way to combine gems, no smart loot type of system, Party member could not travel with me to a side quest because his screen did not have the icon (staircase).

    Extraordinary beauty (and extraordinary bugginess) aside, Wolcen is a run-of-the-mill ARPG that takes "inspiration" from every popular game in the genre and mixes it with its own questionable know-how. [Issue#244, p.64]
