Feb 18, 2019Excellent story, simple but at the same time awesome. A myst have game if you like narrative games, more than shooting everywhere.
Play calm with plenty of time, do not hurry.
Enjoy the story. -
Jan 8, 2019Good :
- interesting story
- voice acting
Bad :
- gameplay too poor
- graphics : low resolution textures
- bad optimization : the game requires a high-end graphic card to play in 4K at 60 fps while graphics are not very good -

Sep 24, 2017One of the most amazing story game experience i have ever played! 2017 has been very poor on gaming, but there are still gems like this among the big boring AAA games.

Aug 7, 2018What Remains of Edith Finch is an amazing videogame experience and the less you know learn about it before playing the better.

Mar 1, 2021Mysterious deaths in the family, fantasy histories that Edith needs to touch and discover on her own.
This game made me feel sad. It is basically about deaths in the Finch family and how you experience them from a first person view.
It is a walking simulator with few object interactions, the story is offered in a somewhat linear way, is fantasised, dreamed, narrated by Edith. -

Sep 12, 2020A truly beautiful visual tale, driven by fascinating stories and shown through equally fascinating visual means. The stellar reviews are fully deserved!

Jan 12, 2019Un juego increible que en todo momento te mantiene en suspenso, con cada una de las historias que vas encontrando, con un final perfecto.
El unico pero que podria tener es que es un juego demasiado corto aunque la trama es sumamente envolvente -

Nov 3, 2019This game is the perfect argument in the debate that shouldn't be: Are games a form of art?
Of course they are! Just try this for 2 hours and you'll want to put it in your special shelf near your favorite book or movie. -
Jul 17, 2020Буду краток: история и подача этого произведения произвели на меня сильнейшее впечатление.

Feb 16, 2020Really liked this. It's an "interactive cinematic game" where you as the last Finch explore your family house in search of answers about your relatives. Good story and a mysterious environment made it a fun sunday afternoon game.

Feb 20, 2022Probably the best story based game I have played to date, everything is really well done. A bit on the short side though.

Oct 16, 2019You just wanna keep on and see what happened to whom in that crooked house next? Wish there were more games like this that focuses on individual moments and stories, with a narrative that is woven beautifully.
-
Apr 16, 2019The game is simply beautiful. "What remains of Edith Finch" shows us that video games truly are an art. It's hard to tell something about it without spoiling anything, so just trust me and play it. Game isn't long and isn't expensive so it's worth to try. That kind of storytelling I have never seen in any other game. Visuals are also great and soundtrack has a right tone. I totally recommend it.

Apr 10, 2019Its not a bad game. It is focus in the story of this family and the atmosphere of the house, This atmosphere is very important in a walking simulator. So, showing a house with a collection of repeated books without a justification in the history of the family, is ridiculous and breaks the good atmosphere that the game could at first offer.

Jul 30, 2020This is a solid game, with a very memorable story. I generally don't play games like this, but decided to try it when I didn't have anything else to play, and ended up hooked. Nice graphics, some interesting game mechanics, and interesting locales keeps the game fresh throughout. Highly recommended; this one surprised me!

Game World Navigator MagazineJul 5, 2017Leisurely exploration of the estate is interspersed with stories about the last days of different Finch family members – and these moments show that developers didn’t just proclaim their love for H.P. Lovecraft, Neil Gaiman and other masters of magical realism, they really know that stuff. Giant Sparrow draws you into the little girl’s dreamworld just as easily as it paints a picture of kingly ambitions of a factory worker. [Issue#221, p.81]

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 5, 2017Beautiful, bittersweet, artistic, frank and engaging game. Just a shame of the scope that does not allow to move from a captivating start into a completely satisfactory final. [Issue#275]

CD-ActionJun 30, 2017The game tells intriguing stories and leaves room for interpretation but is short, linear and devoid of true tension. [07/2017, p.60]
