    hacking stuff solving puzzles are so annoying , I hate solving puzzles in action games
    that mission that you have to hack cameras is so annoying

    Watch Dogs, Ubisoft's creation, is a game that brings forth visually attractive urban aesthetics. However, despite its positive aspects, there are certain factors that I cannot overlook, influencing my rating of 4 out of 10.

    Attractive Aesthetics: Right from the outset, the portrayal of the city is good. The details of skyscrapers, urban life, and interaction with electronic systems are crafted with great care and attention to detail. The concept of hacking in an urban world adds an intriguing twist.

    Repetitive Missions and Monotonous Gameplay: Unfortunately, as you progress through the game, it becomes evident that missions are surprisingly repetitive and lacking in the necessary variety. The hacking mechanic, though initially intriguing, becomes a predictable routine. Side missions fail to offer enough diversity and often feel like simple variations of the main missions.

    Forgettable Story and Characters: The main plot, centered around protagonist Aiden Pearce and his personal vendetta, fails to generate lasting interest. Aiden as a main character lacks depth and empathy, making it challenging to connect with his story. Secondary characters also lack development, negatively impacting the overall narrative.

    Conclusion: In summary, Watch Dogs presents visually attractive urban aesthetics that initially impress. However, the repetitive missions, monotonous gameplay, and lack of depth in both story and characters leave it falling short of its potential.     História boa em alguns momentos e parada em outros, personagem principal tem personalidade não parece genérico, diferente do mapa que não tem nada muito inesquecível. Gameplay é boa tem muitas opções de abordagem.

    Look it's not a bad game, and it IS fun to play, but there are too many unforgivable screw ups. I expect better from such a huge game developer.

    ---{ Story }---

    The story is ok in principal, but the further into it you play, the more the plot contrivances build up. There are several plot holes that bothered me. It does raise interesting questions about the surveillance state, and a free society versus a safe society.
    However, there are too many main missions. I feel like half of chapter four should've been side-quests, it just drags too much and kills the pacing. Also Clara's *spoiler* feels like tacked on. Devs clearly knew it was going to happen (there was early signposting), but then the way it was integrated was very sloppy.

    ---{ Gameplay }---
    The movement is really awkward. You can climb over massive fences, but not a meter high wall. You can't climb out of water unless there is a pre-ordained climbable surface.
    The driving is absolute trash. Cars accelerate violently with the barest touch of a button. This might make sense with a high powered sports car, but it happens with everything, including massive trucks.
    Anything involving car chases is wack. Worst rubber-banding I've ever seen. The game (and fans) are very quick to remind you that you're not playing GTA, you're a hacker, so hack your way out of trouble, but then the correct solution to some escapes is to... steal a boat and sail out into open water??? Also enemy vehicles can instantly accelerate from stationary to ramming speed, your car however can not.
    Nobody in the city has any regard for there own safety. Pedestrians will leap in front of you. Enemies will ram their car into you in a way that would absolutely result in their death. Multiple times.

    ---{ Graphics }---
    So obviously the E3 fiasco. But actually the graphics are fine. Everything looks very nice. Certain levels of anti-aliasing resulted in shadows flickering. Got some object pop-in as well at what i would consider a relatively short distance.

    ---{ Audio }---
    Absolutely awful. Dialogue was so quiet i had to turn my volume well above 50% (normally I'm at about 20, 30 max), and then something exploded and I'm deaf now. Whoever was in charge of audio for this game should be locked up for wilful endangerment.
    The voice cast did very well.

    ---{ Difficulty }---
    Overall it's all very do-able. There were some missions that were badly designed (enemies spawning behind you, infinitely spawning enemy cars), but overall, not a hard game

    ---{ Grind }---
    Huge. The amount of side content here is ludicrous. You're constantly being peppered with notifications of a crime being committed nearby. You don't NEED to complete them, but you'd be crippled without some of the hacking and driving abilities, so a bit of side-questing is recommended.

    ---{ Bugs }---
    CTD when changing certain graphical settings. CTD when changing to full-screen with some graphical settings. Some missions are bugged so you can't complete without a restart.

    When I finished this game It become my best game ever played maybe this game hated when cameout because of E3 graphics not the same in original graphics but graphics still nice

Да, в трейлерах Ubisoft такое случилось не в первый и не в последний раз. Но они не одни этим грешат. Тем не менее по своему непосредственному содержанию эта игра во многом инновационна. Стоит ли объяснять, почему? Прямо сейчас я прохожу GTA IV, наНе знаю как вам (если вы вообще проходили), а мне в целом и частностях понравилась эта игра. Да, в трейлере все выглядело немного лучше. Да, в трейлерах Ubisoft такое случилось не в первый и не в последний раз. Но они не одни этим грешат. Тем не менее по своему непосредственному содержанию эта игра во многом инновационна. Стоит ли объяснять, почему? Прямо сейчас я прохожу GTA IV, на очереди после нее GTA V. Первая в свое время "сносила крышу" наличием мобильного телефона, с которого можно было звонить, отвечать на звонки, на который можно было получать SMS-сообщения, с которого можно было заносить встречи в органайзер, да блин, там даже можно было установить одну из предложенных мелодий на звонок! Вторая делает все то же самое со смартфоном, добавляя присущие ему фичи. Но в Watch Dogs смартфон нужен не просто как еще один элемент взаимодействия с игровым миром, более того, с его помощью мы совершаем невероятные вещи, которые возможно совершить в мире реальном. Взлом камер, взлом систем водоснабжения, взлом домашних сетей, которые не являются неприступной крепостью от слова совсем и, разумеется, блэкаут. Эти операции может провернуть тот, кто умеет обращаться с "умной" техникой на уровне "выше среднего", а также обладает доступом в сеть, которую он непосредственно взламывает. Все это я привожу, естественно, в общих чертах, но это не может не пугать. В целом механики игры, связанные с хакерством, доставляют удовольствие и заставляют собой любоваться. Открытый мир сделан неплохо. И да, это все же не GTA, но этой игре и не нужно ею быть, она совершенно про другое. Также мне понравился сюжет, его общая направленность и подача. Ну и, как я отмечаю почти во всех своих обзорах, то, что связано со стрельбой и боями, мне пришлось по вкусу. Я думаю, к Watch Dogs иногда можно возвращаться, пока эта игра окончательно не стала реальностью.… Expand

With the garbage that there is today, that this Watch Dogs has received so much criticism is an injustice, even more so for a simple supposedly misleading E3 trailer that has not fooled me, because what I saw in the trailer matched what I later played. Worse are the subsequent Watch Dogs, which lost all that vigilante feature that AidenOne of the few jewels that exist among video games. With the garbage that there is today, that this Watch Dogs has received so much criticism is an injustice, even more so for a simple supposedly misleading E3 trailer that has not fooled me, because what I saw in the trailer matched what I later played. While you're busy hacking into other characters' houses or phones, you can't help but wonder how Ubisoft managed to predict certain social trends with such precision, like the No-Vax grandma on "Tutte" or the onlyfanser/tiktoker taking selfies in front of a car inWatch Dogs is a game that still has a lot to offer even today, despite the fact that the main character may seem a bit stiff. While you're busy hacking into other characters' houses or phones, you can't help but wonder how Ubisoft managed to predict certain social trends with such precision, like the No-Vax grandma on "Tutte" or the onlyfanser/tiktoker taking selfies in front of a car in the garage. Additionally, the phone call about a girl, her hair, and a bird will forever be etched in my mind, making me wonder just how deviant the developers at Ubisoft must be.

    However, there are a few flaws worth mentioning. For example, there's no option to completely disable aim assist, which can make the gaming experience feel a bit too assisted, even when set to the minimum level. Furthermore, I had to drop the game due to the only mandatory drinking game in the main quest (Act 3). Unfortunately, it's not possible to customize the keys for mini-games, which put me in a difficult situation, especially considering my handicap that prevents me from using my left hand. Despite my two-hour effort to find a solution, I couldn't resolve the problem and had to abandon the game.

    In summary, Watch Dogs is a fantastic game, but it's a shame that certain technical limitations prevented me from fully enjoying the gaming experience.    … Expand

    I played Watch Dogs on the PS3 when it was first released, at first I was sad about the downgrade but considering that I now know a lot about gaming and the technology behind it I realised for a PS3 game it was above par. So a few years after I decided to play it on PC, I tried it on max settings and played around with some mods and enjoyed the story still to this day.

    This is a game that deserves a second chance, this needs to be Remade, I love the idea of a Lone Vigilant cleaning up the streets of Chicago using Hacking as his weapon. This game shows so much potential but was limited by the technology and possibly the creativity of its time.

    If I ever get into the gaming industry and somehow end up in Ubisoft, this is the first project I want to tackle. This game can be so much more.

    But for what it is, it is a fun game, with a deep story that doesn't pull its punches, Aiden Pearce is a Bad@ss with a dark past...Ok, this sounds generic, but believe it or not, it's true.
    Every time I play it I can just play the story threw with no problem it's not a hassle at all, perhaps it's just because I like the premise.

    There are a few bugs you'll encounter and they are irritating, literally, the end credits screen bugs out.

    Other Things like the characters the music, sound effects, weapons, and hacking enemies. they are really great, they are just let down by some poor level and mission design, it's not as cinematic or interactive as you think like an Assassin's Creed Game.

    The music is really good, it's one of my favourites in gaming, once you hit the helicopter chase scene you'll realise that you like the vibe and the music.

    Ubisoft, give Aiden Pearce a Second Chance, this is the perfect game worthy of a Remake.    … Expand

    In any field at least one better game exists just HACKING could make it so exciting but it was so normally
    It's good to play but once the story is over you can't and don't want to play anymore
    nearly nothing exists that you do and other game doesn.t have and its so bad for a open world game

    Давольно интересная игра, с хорошей концепцией и неплохой реализацией, но есть проблемы: С течением времени кажется, что тебе не достаёт хакерских примочек, ты вроде в песочнице, тебе это нравится, а вроде и хочется песочницу побольше, в миссиях с врагами по итогу ты пользуешься пистолетом глушителем, ибо это эффективнее. Зачем пытаться подманить врага куда-то, отвлечь, сделать вид, чтоДавольно интересная игра, с хорошей концепцией и неплохой реализацией, но есть проблемы: С течением времени кажется, что тебе не достаёт хакерских примочек, ты вроде в песочнице, тебе это нравится, а вроде и хочется песочницу побольше, в миссиях с врагами по итогу ты пользуешься пистолетом глушителем, ибо это эффективнее. Зачем пытаться подманить врага куда-то, отвлечь, сделать вид, что его гибель - несчастный случай, если можно за пару секунд избавиться отнего одной пулей? Тем более, что игра только подталкивает к скорейшему устранению врага, давая опыт за это (и она не даёт его больше, если вы убили его хакерским способом) Ещё одна проблема - активности. Их много и не понятно, зачем они нужны. Бабок много, тратить их, можно сказать, и не надо, а опыт можно получить с пары районов и у тебя будет достаточно очков опыта для +- комфортного прохождения. Хотя, отмечу, что эти активности лично мне особо не надоедали, иногда даже приятно их было проходить. Но когда понимаешь, что особо ничего и не получаешь в итоге, желание проходить их как-то улетучивается. Город выполнен хорошо, много знаменитых для Чикаго зданий и мест, которые интересно посещать, Юби даже подталкивают нас это делать, ставя "галочки" с интересной информацией по этому месту. К тому же понравилась фишка с происходящими случайно авариями на улицах, нпс тоже умеют делать ошибки :)))) А уход от полиции здесь, наверное, одно из лучших, что вообще есть в игре (хоть и физика машин дико аркадная и малоприятная) Сюжет в игре... ну он вроде нормальный, а вроде ты уже и забыл что там вообще было, к тому же ты не ощущаешь контроля над героем в сюжетном плане, он всё решает за тебя, да так, что даже не понимаешь, как мы из 1-ого пришли ко 2-ому. Персонажи не особо яркие и уникальные, но уж парочку из них запомните хоть немного Ну и графика. КЛАССНО, реально классно, даже 8 лет спустя ею наслаждался, но модельки персонажей как-то недоделаны что ль.… Expand

    This was actually great game. Feels bad that some people got triggered for it not being like trailer, but it still looks good. graphically one of the better looking games from 2014, Ubisoft of course did it even better with Unity same year, but still. Good game, that feels like GTA, but with hacker twist.

A great story, I loved the story of this game from beginning to the end, Aiden Pierce is a badass vigilante fighting    It is one of my favorite games of all time. I know it has many flaws like the physics of driving is really bad and the graphics of the game was downgraded but none of these things affected my enjoyment at all.

    Watch Dogs has one of the things I love the most in the games. A great story, I loved the story of this game from beginning to the end, Aiden Pierce is a badass vigilante fighting evil gangs using technology and his hacking skills. It is an incredible story very cinematographic and with a good plot.

    The gameplay isn't bad either, the stealth system is great the hack skills are cool, and a good innovation.

    The open world is kinda empty and dead, there are not many things to do aside from missions but at end of the day, the only thing that matters is personal enjoyment.

    So, if you like me that like a good story with a badass protagonist and good stealth gameplay with FC3 takedowns style, I think it is worth giving a shot in Watch Dogs.    … Expand

    Геймплей неинтересный, с элементарными механиками. Стрельба вообще никак не ощущается, как и вождение. Графика так себе, даже для своего времени. Сюжет меня не цепляет.

    Extremely and unfairly underrated. This game wasn't GTA V level (obviously), but it wasn't bad at all. I personally love both watch dogs and GTA V.

    Ubisoft's flagship title has a really, really repulsive protagonist. The entire storyline feels like it was cranked out of a automated story generator. On the positive side, Watch Dogs looks really good on PC, especially after modding the graphics to match the visual splendor of the early E3 demos. [Aug 2014]

    Nothing could have realistically lived up to the immense level of hype that Ubisoft stirred up for this game, and while I value strong narratives and envelope-pushing technological advancements, I place just as much importance in the ability to enjoy the gameplay that's being offered to me. Watch Dogs is one of the more exciting sandbox games of the last few years, and if this is to become Ubisoft's next big franchise, I'm excited to see where they take it.
