    This is the first pc game I've bought that I've not actually been able to play.

    Upon installing the game every time i try and lauch the game I receive a DLL error.

    Spent around 6 hours trying different fixes suggested by people on the internet with no luck, because of this I was forced to refund the game.

    Ubisoft should make sure a game works before releasing it.

    More of this and less of whatever watch dogs 2 was supposed to be. This one is already huge improvement, can't wait what they do with watch dogs 4. Please another European city. Anything but USA at this point. Usa has been done so many time in different games, there's other places too. Even Australia would be better choice than USA.

    It's fine enough watch_dogs game. I would only recommend it, if you actually really liked first game, because in dlc first game's main character come back as playable character. Until that happens, there's enough fun to be had with npc recruitment.

    Watch Dogs Legion is better than what i expected, reminds me watch dogs 1. Haters logic seems to be: when any new game has bunch of zeros then it's legit score, if it has positive reviews then it must be fake. How sad someone needs to be to even claim something like that, i don't even wanna know. And if anyone wants to claim that my account is fake because i have only 3 reviews, iWatch Dogs Legion is better than what i expected, reminds me watch dogs 1.     Just made this account to say that after 15 hours i haven't had any major problems. I have heard about save issues, personally haven't had any save issues. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I think Ubisoft tweeted that they patch it on November 9th. I also made this account to fight back against bots who are trying to lower user score. Whoever gives zeros without even owning the game, justJust made this account to say that after 15 hours i haven't had any major problems.     10 to counter an inadeqaute bashing from the zero-guys.
    London's ambience and the setting overall are great. Recruting approach works perfectly well in this game, it gives a unique feel of playing as an undercover resistance network instead of a one chosen hero as in any other game. Gameply is a lot of fun, despite the game is even more casualized (less serious)    Game is a solid 7-8.

    As for the game, this was the worst experience I've ever had. The story, gameplay, and everything else is a complete mess, also I faced several crashes in only 1.5 hours of gameplay. After all, when I tried to lower the settings (due to its terrible optimization) the game just restarted my computer and corrupted my saves!

    Beautiful open world that actually feels alive. RDR2 did unexpectedly well with npc's and so does this game, but it's little bit different this time. Now you can play as any npc you see in the world.That's epic.

    Idk why anyone would hate it, it's not earth-shattering, but it's nonetheless very cool open world hacking game. I mean i would understand someone giving it 6 or 7 for technical problems, but flat out zeros make no sense.

    Had little to no hope for Legion and what Ubisoft has been releasing Lately. Even only playing the first Watch Dogs, I can say that I was wildly surprised by how much I actually am enjoying Legion. It just has this better feel and tone set in London and the whole idea of playing as multiple operatives seems to have done away with most of the repetitive gameplay. Legion feels a lot moreHad little to no hope for Legion and what Ubisoft has been releasing Lately. Even only playing the first Watch Dogs, I can say that I was wildly surprised by how much I actually am enjoying Legion. It just has this better feel and tone set in London and the whole idea of playing as multiple operatives seems to have done away with most of the repetitive gameplay. Legion feels a lot more like you are playing a Splinter Cell game, sneaking around, hacking drones and garroting people from behind. Even on my sub par PC, Legion looks stunning and can keep up with all the stuff going on in the world. Just ignore most of the usual Ubi junkiness with all the bugs and potato looking NPC's and you get a fairly decent game, probably the best in the series so far. It's by no means the shining star in Ubisoft's catalogue of titles but it has kept me invested and engaged so far for my playthrough.     The gameplay is dumbed down from Watch Dogs 2 and the whole "Operative" system brings    I'm 17 hours in and this game is on of the worst optimized games on the PC platform. Have fun running the game, because even the most powerful GPU on the market right now the RTX 3090 can't maintain a stable performance, I'm using an RTX 2060 Super and I can't get over 60 on low settings at 1080p RTXOFF.
    The gameplay is dumbed down from Watch Dogs 2 and the whole "Operative" system brings nothing but frustration to the game, every character is supposed to have It's own "playstyle" but you can literally just walk into an enemy area, shoot everyone and leave with ease, the game offers no challenge what so ever. Furthermore every mission consists of going into an area, disabling the security system that's preventing you from opening that one door that has the data that you have to download, you will be doing this 99% of the time, every hostile zone has this type of playstyle, you will get nothing else.
    The game offers a "permadeath" mode, but don't even think about turning it on, the game will glitch out 9/10 times and your character will die from bullsh**t reasons. Oh you jumped on a platform that you're not supposed to but the game doesn't tell you? Well sorry but your operative is now dead.
    This game also crashes a lot, if you're unlucky like me and it happens during a mission, you character might die and can't come back, so I suggest you keep the permadeath mode on off.
    RTX reflections make the game look cool I guess...    … Expand

    Never played watch dogs before, just wanted to try something different. Usually been playing dark souls and stuff like that. I gotta say, it's better than i expected. Scanning every npc is really fun and ability to play as any npc is something i have never seen in open world game like this. I guess npc's with more personality is the future or these types of games. Been playing for two days now and it's pure joy to finally play something i actually care about. I barely finished second game, it was just so boring.     I can't believe they managed to make a worse game than Watch Dogs 2. The characters you recruit are boring with terrible animations and voice acting. Every mission feels the same. Play as anyone sounded like a cool idea on paper but feels hollow in execution.

    So glad to see Ubisoft finally back on track. This game feels like actual game unlike ghost recon breakpoint. Assassin's Creed Valhalla seems already amazing.

    It's nothing special, but at the same time "recruit any npc" is something very unique in watch dogs series.    I have never visited London, so i have so idea how accurate it is, but youtubers who live in London have said that it is pretty accurate, so that's absolutely very cool that they got this aspect right.     It's actually way better than what i expected. Specially after absolute letdown that WD2 was.
    Positives would be: combat, npc recruitment system, graphics, drone hacking, hacking in general, spiderbot, underground locations, design of London.
    Negatives: story is "eh", performance could be better.
    Overall would recommend if you liked watch dogs 1 and are general watch dogs fan.

    It's not MUST BUY right now, but it has very strong potential to become even better. There's some serious performance patch needed, but it's all there. Everything that was in trailers, gameplay demos etc. And it's (so far) pretty enjoyable game.

    Graphics are much worse than in previous game, anti-aliasing is almost non-existent. Physics are just bad. Cars seems to be flying with no friction at all, people walking in the air robot like. Specially for Assassin's Creed series, but watch dogs is fun too.     Paused the game for a second to come here and check user score and it's basically exactly what i expected. Bunch of angry losers giving zero's. So typical, so pathetic lol.
    Game is fun by the way. I would very much recommend it. It's nothing special, but it has some really unique mechanics.

    It’s not possible to play this game right now. Regardless what I do, every time I close the game (with return main menu) it automatically deletes my progress. And Ubisoft can’t add a manual save or fix this error. THEY NEED 9 F...... DAYS, to release a patch. 9 DAYS. If this game is not ready, don’t launch it. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

    Perfect game to end this awful year with. Finally something positive. Not some depression simulator like last of us 2. I'm not saying it's best game of 2020, no it's not, but it's solid enough and maybe dlc's make it even better.
    Extremely hyped for Assassin's Creed Valhalla tho.

    It's no GTA V, but it's solid open world London to chill around in, hack stuff, fly drones, drive cars, recruit npc's, explore London underground hidden areas. It's cool. Nothing special, but i would rather buy this than marvel's avengers, re3remake or dark pictures.

    Beautiful open world game to have fun with. Haven't had any major bugs or problems personally (7 hours in). Not every game needs to be earth-shattering to be good.

    Started as a good game, enjoyed the choices even though lack of choice at character selection. After 9+ hours of game play saved game would not load. Tried to contact support and only option was online chat which was not available. Not impressed. If not for technical issues I might have given the game a 5 or 6 overall.

    Watch Dogs Legion's London is perfect place for hacking game. I would like to see some another European city in next watch dogs game instead of another US city. I have nothing against American cities, Chicago was cool, but i just love European architecture.

    PC version is horribly optimised, even with ray-tracing off, and full of bugs. Then there's boring storyline, with unmemorable villains. Since we don't have a protagonist anymore, but can play as virtually any npc in the game, there are no well-written memorable character you would care about. Same goes for your "gang". Huge downgrade from Watch Dogs 2 in that regard.

    Then there are chacters with certain perks and skills. Most of them are useless or very limited, to the point that there is no reason for you to play as them. You can't just customise weapons anymore and can't pick up enemies' weapons either. Skills and gadgets tree is very limited and unimpressive either. It looks like they had to strip down skill and gadget tree and reassign it's elements to certain characters. For the same reason they removed weapon customisation - to make your recruits feel more unique. But was it worth it? Definitely not. I would much rather have a full skill tree and weapon customization to mix and match to my liking.

    AI feels much dumber than in WD2 as well. Albion patrol cars constantly have sirens on, indicating they are rushing somewhere, but they don't try to go around other cars and just stand there in the traffic. Stealing a car in front of Albion officer doesn't always result in wanted status. Sometimes they don't care at all, sometimes they put sirens on but don't do anything else, just stand there with sirens on and no wanted status. Pedestrians keep walking into walls and crossing the road back and forth for no reason. Npc and your car on auto-drive move very slowly, even if there's no one driving in front of you.

    I could go on and on about flaws of this game but it wasted enough of my time already. In many aspects, this game is much worse than WD2. I guess, it's one of those Ubisoft scenarios when studios take turns on making new entries for a certain franchise, and this time it was an incompetent studio's turn.    … Expand

    Only real thing this game misses is one central main character. NPC recruitment is cool idea, but there should still be one main character, npc recruitment should be bonus things you could do.
    Even tho this issue might be fixed with upcoming dlc character, specially Aiden from first game.

    Оптимизация радует, во 2 Вд были постоянные дропы фпс, тут стабильно все держится + геометрия и качество графики стало на много выше, чем в прошлой игре.

There's some stuff i like, there's some stuff i don't like.     PC version needs some serious patches that makes fps better. Consoles versions will obviously run better on Xbox Series X or PS5, but PS4 Pro runs it fine as well. Overall very unique concept, recruit any npc, make army of them, free London. London looks beautiful btw.

    What a cool game. This one at least tries to be something, unlike Marvel's Avengers.
    Could use tons of improvements, but it already feels way more interesting than WD2.
    There's many secret areas (underground usually) that you can explore and you can just fly on drones, hack everything, scan npc's, recruit them etc.

    There's two things that makes this open world stand out from others, ability to recruit and play as ANY npc in the game and RTX reflection in true open world game. There's some other unique stuff too like flying on drones, instead of usual planes or helicopters. Performance could be better, otherwise it's nice.

    So far everything is nice, graphics are from decent to good, npc recruitment is fun (because tons of characters to choose from). Undressing female characters is always fun. Story is meh, but open world London makes up for it. Would recommend.

    Pretty solid game for what it tries to do. Nothing outstanding, but giving npc's deeper personality is future of open world games for sure. Also ability to recruit any npc is very cool.
    Graphics are from fine to actually stunning, depending on time of day. Would very much recommend.

    Watch Dogs Legion developers actually tried to give npc's personality, so they wouldn't be just copy-paste blank faces. London actually feels like real city now. I guess these people will uninstall Cyberpunk 2077 as well, because this game will have all these things as well (and possibly even more). So yeah, whatever.     Pros: 1. The recruitment system is really unique, and I loved it. Creating your own team, and having to use each team member for certain missions was a great addition. Even team members that you don't use have useful passive abilities that make the game fun. It's probably my favorite feature of the game. You don't have to recruit people to beat the game. You can actually beat it with one agent, but the real fun is finding the advantages and disadvantage of each member of your teams skill set, and trying to beat the mission the way you want to beat it. All the missions have different ways of completing them. It really gave me a feeling I was playing the Hitman franchise with tons of freedom.

    2. The world building is great. The city of London feels alive, and watching the NPC's interact with each other really makes the city feel real.

    3. Graphics are really good. Especially at nighttime on my 2080ti and RTX turned on. It's really impressive. Probably the first game with RTX that impressed me. I love the sci-fi feeling to the city. It's a great placeholder until Cyberpunk finally comes out.

    4. Story is actually interesting, and I did enjoy it.

    Cons:
    1. Even though I did enjoy the missions, I did wish they added more variety to the task being performed. I get the game is about hackers, but I did want a little more diversity, but even with this con the missions were still fun, and the progression of unlocking new team members kept me hooked.

    I'm not a big fan of the Watch Dogs 1 and 2. I always thought the concept was cool, but the execution was meh. Could not keep my attention for more than 3-5 hours.

    If this is copy paste then by same logic basically any game series is copy pasted.
    resident evil 3 remake is copy paste from resident evil 2 remake. Doom Eternal is copy paste from Doom 2016. Of course games that belong into same series share similar aspects and things. Not like Super Mario was THAT much different from Super Mario 2 or Doom 1 drastically different from Doom II?     I mean it's pretty obvious that on 2013 base consoles, it can't be amazing, best version of it right now is PC version, if someone wants to play on consoles it's better to wait for Xbox Series X or PS5 versions. I'm impressed that base consoles even run this. They barely runs RDR2 and RDR2 is mostly empty wasteland.

    Finally game developers discovered that there are more places than just American cities.
    London is perfect location for game like this. How about modern Paris next?
    So far it's fun, but needs performance patch asap.

    8 потому что 1) миссии однообразны 2) меньшинства и юбисофт, ладно неважно какой цвет кожи мне плевать мне как и эйден пирс нравился так и маркус,но когда уродуют лица персонажей в основном женских хочется прийти в студию и сказать это что за ++++я.     After 10 hours:
    Positives:
    Graphics, Character recruitment, London, More serious tone than WD2, Hacking, Parkour, Tons of graphics settings.
    Negatives:
    Not very innovative from any aspect, Story is weak, Needs performance patch.
    Overall conclusion: Better than expected, because i had extremely low expectations after WD2. Better than any Ubisoft game from 2019.

    Legion is a return to the darker roots of Watch Dogs. It is also the best game in the series, regardless of whether you’re inclined to avoid violence and solve problems DedSec style (by hacking), or prefer to unleash a hail of bullets. The story improved big time and it is unsettling to realize how much the game’s dystopian reality resembles our own. [13/2020, p.62]

    Watch Dogs: Legion is a fun game, but in the end it doesn't stand out. The possibility of recruiting anyone is ambitious, but many, perhaps even more important elements have fallen victim to it. The game unfortunately falls into the ranks: to play and forget. [Issue#307]
