In the end, it is just more Watch Dogs, but it is also equal to the best Watch Dogs has ever been and that is something no one expects from a piece of DLC.

Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline offers a solid chunk of explosive enjoyment, with an excellent story that returns to where it all began.

Ultimately, Watch Dogs: Legion – Bloodline is a bit of a mixed bag. There's fun to be had here, but the story driving the expansion could have spent more time in the oven. Being able to play as Aiden and Wrench is a nice addition, with each offering a distinct style of play.

Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline is a great story expansion that highlights how much better this series is with a true protagonist leading the charge. Unfortunately, it suffers from the same hindering hiccups of the base game and lacks true character growth, but there’s something for fans of the series. I was surprised by just how much content is here, making this reunion with Aiden a welcomed one.

Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline injects new fun into the vanilla game, but stumbles a bit. Returning characters improve the narrative, but this DLC add-on lacks the base game’s free-form, squad-based action.

Bloodline represents Ubisoft going back to its roots on the Watch Dogs franchise, and your mileage will vary. Either way, it doesn't feel like a Legion DLC.

Despite its strong narrative focus, Bloodline is a sequel to Pearce’s Watch Dogs but a prequel to the events of Watch Dogs Legion; as such, we (at least partially) know what will happen next. I’m glad we had a chance to dip into Pearce’s journey again, but I’m hoping that any subsequent dealings with the character will be fully forward in time. If you’re a fan of Watch Dogs Legion — and Watch Dogs in general — the price of admission is certainly worth it.

Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodlines brings familiar faces to new places, and if you can stand the tonal in-fighting, it's a worthwhile, occasionally daring story-driven adventure.

Watch Dogs Legion: Bloodline tries to be a love letter to fans of the series by bringing back two iconic characters as the protagonists, but in doing so, it removes the one gameplay mechanic that made Watch Dogs: Legion so memorable. Without characters to study, befriend, and recruit, Bloodline is a more watered-down open-world experience than the base game it's tied to. Worse is the fact that it doesn't expand on the base game at all. With no new regions to explore, activities to engage in, or gear to unlock, it's a pretty barebones package overall.

What the main storyline should have been tbh. Gave a good nostalgic feeling of the first two games. It was good.

It's solid dlc as expected, because now this game finally has main character(s). But most importantly Aiden is back. London is still boringIt's solid dlc as expected, because now this game finally has main character(s). But most importantly Aiden is back. London is still boring (sadly) and city design still sucks, Ubisoft needs to learn from either Watch Dogs 1 or GTA 5 for Watch Dogs 4 city design. But at least now there's playable missions that are actually fun, unlike Legion's main story that was awful. Hopefully Aiden is main character in Watch Dogs 4, because this "play as anyone" system simply didn't work. Watch Dogs 1 is easily best of this series and amazing game in general, so while i can pretend that Legion is now similar to WD1 (thanks to Aiden), it actually still isn't. City design is awful and driving is worse than in WD1. But it has drones, so that's kind of fun. Overall good dlc, awful main game, but if you pretend that Aiden is main character in this game and you only play as him it can be somewhat decent (as you can play whole main story as Aiden now), but Ubisoft SERIOUSLY needs to improve on this whole series with WD4.
