    This game isn't bad, but I like first WD is more. Of Course, in Watch Dogs 2 graphics is not many better and awesome physics, but I think storyline and gameplay in Watch Dogs is better than in Watch Dogs 2. Of course, band in this game is good, but in first WD is more good, but this game is good for Ubisoft, but Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, The Division, For Honor and Ghost ReconThis game isn't bad, but I like first WD is more.     Loved this game!

    Amazing graphics and aesthetics, better gameplay than the first game, overall a more sensible story, and fantastic characters and humor.     I do enjoy some Open World Ubisoft games, I went into the game knowing it wasn’t just another crime GTA clone. This game has an interesting spin where you’re a hacker rather than just murderer who wants to kill everything. I also knew that there was a lot of character put into this game, they made their own memes, there are a lot of jokes, the characters are likable. On paper, it seemedI do enjoy some Open World Ubisoft games, I went into the game knowing it wasn’t just another crime GTA clone. This game has an interesting spin where you’re a hacker rather than just murderer who wants to kill everything. I also knew that there was a lot of character put into this game, they made their own memes, there are a lot of jokes, the characters are likable. On paper, it seemed like it was going to be something that is different but in a fun way.

    After a couple hours of the game, my first thought was. I really don’t enjoy City Open World Games. There is just too much going on, too many NPC’s around and driving is just not fun. I also didn’t enjoy a lot of the missions, they felt very Stealth Heavy and I just didn’t have any fun with any of the missions. I wanted to go guns blazing but that’s not this game. It just wasn’t fun.

    Sadly, this game is not fun for me. Different strokes and this game are not me. I don’t see myself playing this game ever again.    … Expand

    Has a rich and active world, but ironically NPCs have only a handful of facial variation. Some mechanics aren't as polished as in GTA V, but the fullness of the world and hacking stuff makes up for it.

    Pros :

    - well written main and side quests
    - good humor : npcs; robots, car hacking...
    - charming characters
    - many ways to accomplish the missions
    - the bank van attacks offer epic moments when chased by police
    - San Francisco and the Silicon Valley are entertaining places
    - the jumper and the quadricopter are great ideas
    - many hacking possibilities
    - living city, NPCs
    - many activites : sailing...
    - the best graphics : high resolution textures awesome in 4K, many details, inspired city tags, long-range visibility, awesome weather (rain, fog), enjoyable tourist places to visit, It is really a pleasure to walk around
    - well-optimized : it is the first game to use the CPU cores efficiently : my 5960X overlcoked at 4500 Mhz is used at 60 % and at 80 % in a few places. SLI works great too.
    - mulitplayer included in the solo story
    - many hours : about 90 hours for every single mission and a few multi ones.

    Cons :
    - no manual saves
    - bad crouching movement : you can be crouched only by using the cover movement. If you no longer want to use the cover movement technique, you are no longer crouching.

    The best open-world game, better than Watch Dogs 1, GTA IV and V.    … Expand

    I am surprised that is such a good game. Nice story and very good gameplay. I heard that driving cars is not so good but for me works perfectly fine (but it is less realistic then in GTA 5). Never the less this game is worth to play even in 2020.

    The game becomes repetitive and boring, the characters seem immature and the story is not very deep or interesting, the story of watch dogs 1 far exceeds it, the game has many things to do and with that extends its playing time , but there is nothing interesting, I do not recommend

    Personally, I liked Watch Dogs 2. This is a clear progress after the failed first part. Nice graphics, good optimization, interesting plot. But most of all, I liked the basic gameplay. Passing missions on the stealth has become several times more interesting!

    К плюсам можно отнести графику, красивейший Сан-Франциско, легкий сюжет (ну тут кому как), живые отношения между главными героями и npc.     Прикольная игра без сюжета, но клевой задумкой. Присутствует клевое взаимодействие с окружающим миром (телефоны прохожих, машины, светофоры, шлагбаумы и тд.), но оптимизацию юбисофт не завезли, поэтому только 8

    A very good game, it runs pretty well on the PC the only problem I had was with the textures that don't get render completely, but it still is a pretty good game, the first minute may be a bit boring but the rest is just extremely fun to play

    Within the first few minutes of playing the game, I fell in love with it.

    It was one of those games you don't want to leave, because it draws you in, the story is super interesting well written, amazing characrers, awesome choices that affects your playthrough.

    thanks to ubisoft, i don't even pay a single dollar for both wd1 and wd2.

    this game is actually fun, a pure fun to play. WD1 has the theme with gloomy, dark environtment, while WD2 has bright, cheerful, friendly and artsy. personally, i like WD1 more, but this works too. even though the map is small, it's really alive, the NPC really actually not a NPC, they all have personalities    thanks to ubisoft, i don't even pay a single dollar for both wd1 and wd2.

    the cons, the AI is smart, but annoying, they spot you once, the entire city know you there. although you can clearly prevent it by some really smart play.

    the story is okay, th writing is, too "millenials", i prefer WD1 in term of story. but gameplay, WD2 sure win a big part . 8/10 for me    … Expand

    Better than Watch Dogs 1. This game is better in everything the prequel did. However it`s not perfect, and the violence could be developed in other way. Recommended.

    Apesar do jogo ser problemático em sua otimização para a versão de PC e de possuir um quantidade exageradas de atividades repetitivas em seu mundo aberto, o jogo possui mais qualidades que defeito.
    Recomendo em uma boa promoção e em uma PC com no mínimo uma GTX 1070 pra ter uma experiência digna e satisfatória.

Better graphics, another visual approach and a fun hacker gameplay combined with the Ubisoft formula. And this game is fun, especially the multiplayer mode.     Quick and easy, no tl;dr: With Aiden (Watch Dogs 1) we had a vigilante taking down casual criminals, busting up a human trafficking network, busting up a gang of thugs, putting a serial killer out of business, and taking down the boss of the Chicago mob. In Watch Dogs 2, we instead have teenage brats spraying graffiti and getting high.
    Seriously Ubisoft? It's a joke?

    I picked up Watch Dogs 2 When it was on sale on Steam for 14.00 and was pleasantly Surprised. First off the game is way better than the Original with a more exciting story and a prettier World to Explore.

    As good as this game is , I have found 2 frustrating issues... the first is the area you must go to meet someone has the diameter of about 3 meters...meaning you must be exactly in the box which unlike GTA Does not give you a visible circle to see...just how far away you are. Sometimes cars are parked where you need to be too. Another minor gripe is items in world feel they are made of paper. for instance driving 5 mph and hitting a light pole , destroys it instantly. I feel they could have put more weight on objects. But besides those two items this is a great game. Great story great gameplay Great Fun.    … Expand

They have done a great job at making the AI more intelligent, this results in you arriving at a location, walking past an alley, being spotted by an eagle eyed AI character,Loved Watchdogs 1, played it to death and was a really enjoyable experience. For Watchdogs 2 Ubisoft have tried to cram alot more hacking capabilities into the game and the controls and overall experience suffers. They have done a great job at making the AI more intelligent, this results in you arriving at a location, walking past an alley, being spotted by an eagle eyed AI character, chased down and killed. The reason they have upped the AI, is to force you to use the Jumper and Quadcopter. This takes away the stealth part of the game that was really enjoyable in the first. The joypad controls on PC on top of this are annoying, you must push the left stick in to make the character run, push the right stick in to crouch. If you crouch behind a wall and then move away from the wall you stand up. The AI then instantly spot you and chase you down and kill you. It feels like they have spent that much time on the gorgeous graphics, that they threw together the gameplay. The Online hack in Watchdogs one was so much fun and enjoyable, probably the most exciting multiplayer experience ive playing in a long time has been now integrated into the game instead of the UI. Instead of going into the menu and choosing the join a online hacking session. Your now driving down the road and you drive directly into an online co-op game, smash into a Van, then you have to hide from 2 opponents who have just seen you T-total your ride. The cops arrive at the scene of the crash. You manage to get a way and hide from the co-op players and hide in a car. and the police pull up next to you and start flashing their lights signalling where you are, but they dont arrest you, because your in an online multiplayer game. There has been no thought gone into the game play from Ubisoft. It comes accross annoying and the way you approach the missions feel forced. They took away some of the things that made number 1 shine. Definately worth getting in the sale, but beware can be frustrating to play at times, especially the controls on a Joypad.… Expand

    A game with that improves on the original by a lot we have better characters, better story, amazing vast living and breathing open world. You have more options to play the game which is always a plus. The gameplay is awesome the stealth is top notch and the missions are all really fun to play. Highly recommended

Finally, the scarcity of available vehicles can be frustrating.

    The PC support blows, would not recommend. I have to install twice, uninstall, now reinstall. Additionally, the game wouldn't even start on my first try, I had to tinker with it for a bit. Hope it actually works. I'm surprised that an AAA studio has a game this broken on PC, kind of impressive.

    The game ran perfectly from the 1st Boot UP, updated to the latest nVidia Drivers and i can play the game with at least 55 FPS with several ULTRA settings and the rest with Very High on a 980Ti, 16GB DDR4, i5 6400 with OC at 4.5GHZ (yes, i5 6400 with OC)

    Watch Dogs 2 is a surprisingly good open-world stealth-shooter hybrid. The hacking mechanics in this game is all levels of fun and impressive along with its quality lore, controls, acting and visuals. It heavily focuses on the near-futuristic setting where Internet of Things rules the world which Ubisoft has executed elegantly.

    - super cheesy and campy dialogue and art. it's pretty much the dorkiest way to try portraying "cool" hackers. e.g. the little montage of them repairing the self-driving car. facepalm.
    - the Cover mechanic is awful. i simply have not found a way to cleanly disengage from cover. you can't just toggle it with C, you have to back away from the wall    Things that I don't enjoy about this game:

    - the various clothing collectibles are, in my opinion, completely pointless
    - some side-missions are too long (repetitive). i think there were five ATM machine "hacks" that were simply boring and empty filler. i really don't want to scamper up ten different buildings to put up some posters. five or six is more than enough, though the last one was pretty satisfying.
    - it's not always clear why sometimes another player joins you in some kind of coop event while you're in the middle of your own tasks. not usually a problem, though. you can ignore these without anything bad happening.

    but, you know, the game is fun and i like running around completing the missions. the city is really pretty and taking pictures of things is almost as fun as stealing random strangers' money as you speed down the road on your scooter.    … Expand

    WD2 still doesnt reach the full quality of GTA, lets be realistic that even with its hacking emphasis, GTA is the series that Ubisoft is trying hard to emulate, to attract gamers who enjoy GTA. Only key area where Ubi rivals R* is the world building and attention to detail put in it. Exploring Bay Area can take your breath away if youre interested in the game for the purpose of virtual tourism. However gameplay and narrative wise WD2 still doesnt have what it takes to be a top tier open world crime game.

    Driving is still pretty sub par, if not worse than in first game, cars feel way too twitchy, weightless with overly sensitive steering, no to mention the crappy crashing physics and some cars having to go through 100 gears when you fly the highways at top speed. Gunplay is nothing special, but some guns do sound pretty cool. Stealth can be somewhat fun due to hacking tools game gives you. The new traversal parkour system is pretty nice in action, but still the world is not as open as in GTA where you could go virtually anywhere, movement still can be clunky and restrictive where you should be able to scale something easily by logic. Cop chases can get annoying as hell due to cops being overly aware, the sheer numbers of cops game can throw at you all at once and their cars being relentless in stopping you with artificially increased speed compared to yours, like rubber banding of AI in racing games, the police heli especialy gets on the nerves if you dont have the skill unlocked to bugger it off. Marcus doesnt have much health, even on Normal difficulty game can be quite brutal if you go guns blazing without a strategy, this can be both good or bad depending on your play style. The enemy factions you face also over abuse the ''call for reinforcements'', they just keep coming and coming, and the enemy AI has ridiculous awareness of your position, they perfectly land every grenade thrown at you and they know excatly the place to rush once youre spotted, even if you changed your position while they didnt see you.

    Bay Area in Watch Dogs 2 is seriously impressively recreated, then again Chicago was the strongest point in first game aswell. It can be fun just walking around the San Francisco, Sillicon Valley, Oakland or Marin and taking in the surroundings. Graphics are very good allowing the world to pop with detail. The NPC system is quite good aswell like in first game, however the more you play the more you start hearing the same dialogues NPC's can be having or the scripted interactions between them.

    Story was yet another unimpressive Ubisoft affair. Still, the theme surrounding The Big Tech in Sillicon Valley, the power they hold and how they abuse it, its relevant stuff i have to say, especially now in 2018 when such companies have become overly political, condone censorship and try to meddle with ellections in USA and globally to get the result they deem ''right'' in their views. Main missions and side activities can be fun, but the main narrative and writing just goes by with you not caring much. Like when a key character dies in the game, you only care so much that you forget about it 5 minutes later. To be frank, before i tried the game, the cast of main characters semt pretty lame to me, but they are not that bad honestly, they did to a degree grew on me, but not to the point i would call them good or memorable, except maybe for Wrench and T Bone. Marcus himself, no matter how Ubisoft try to make him the exact opposite of Aiden, he ends up being the polar opposite with all his forced feeling cheeriness and rather shallow personality. The tone is much lighter than in the 1st game, there's lots jokes and humour, but its the kind humour thats rather hard to connect with if youre not a teen or younger, more simply put its not smart humour.

    Then there's a big issue with how the narrative simply ignores the fact if youre playing the game with a lethal approach. You can can be cold blooded killer with Marcus, but he keeps acting like his hands are clean of blood and so does rest of your DedSec crew. It doesnt make any sense. You can see Ubisoft wrote the story in a way that it only assumes youre playing without killing people, thats cool if youre a stealth fan who likes non lethal play style, if youre not then thats another problem you'll face in connecting with game's story line and characters.

    WD2 on PC also has some performance issues, very low frame rates in certain parts of the game world, occasional game crash here and there. Worst of all, the game can freeze up for several seconds before being playable again.

    Even with some of its bigger flaws, in the end i still had decent time with Watch Dogs 2.    … Expand

    The game is overall good in graphics, gameplay, story and characters design. I enjoyed playing the game so much. The bad thing in the game is that sometimes the character went to the undesired area when taking cover and I couldn't cancel the action and die. The other one is that there are too little music genre choices for the radio.

    Waited long as I wasn't too impressed by the first one. It actually is quite incredible how well the graphics are, even comparing it to GTA5, textures, light and characters all look really well. It could so easily be a good game, but the characters, the cyber theme and edgy sarcasm characters are just too much. Feels like a sitcom made for 15 year olds where everything is "Alright! My only flaw is that you can't hide bodies and that characters act like little teen hippies with over-usage of "le memes". Still, the game is giving you a handful of guns to choose from, but only two of about 25 guns are silenced, which gives very little space for decision. Sounds of guns and way, that guns work are really arcade-like and poor. What i think is the biggest flaw of the game, are the missions. Until about half of the game, you have many side missions to pick, but from the half of the game I have no side missions to complete, so my only option was to rush main mission, because i couldn't do anything else. Some side missions are presented to you through your hacker group DedSec, some can be found throughout the world. No matter what you do, it seems like after you are past half of the game, you have no side missions. Thanks to that, you will complete the game rather quickly.

The first WD felt overly dramatic and the character development forced, but the game did turn out to be a fun journey with unique hacker elements that set it apart from its competitors in the action-adventure genre. From the start, WD2 did feel like it improved a lot on the aspects of the first that held it back. However, as the game progressed, I realized a lot of the features that made the original great were thrown out in favor of turning the game into a generic action-adventure title leading to the series taking one step forward but two steps back.

    The first thing that is noticed about the game is the controls are a lot smoother than the original. Marcus doesn’t jerk around as much as Aiden Pierce did and the driving is like that of other games, so there are no game specific movement adjustments that you must get used to as in the first. This eliminates a lot of mistakes one would make because of clunky character movements and leads to a more satisfying gameplay experience.

    When it comes to actual gameplay, it feels like missions were designed to be straight forward probably at an attempt to appeal to a broader audience, but that also leads to sacrificing the identity of the series itself. Almost every mission consists of breaking into a facility to hack some sort of equipment by simply pressing a button or playing the same minigame. You can use stealth, your robots, or brute force, but the variety of the missions ends there. The game did end up being short enough that lack of variety didn’t really factor into the missions growing boring, but it did feel generic and the hacker theme of the game suffered because of it. In fact, it seemed like a lot of the time advanced hacker skills weren’t even needed in most of the missions. This led to me stockpiling a ton of skill point on the hardest difficulty possible in the game without having any trouble whatsoever, which should never happen. I eventually just reached a point where I dumped all my points into traits to help me with PVP scenarios and never was punished once because of it.

    In terms of the story, there is a purpose for what the character’s are doing and it is more believable than the original Aiden Pierce story, but the way they go about doing it is just as generic as the gameplay that is used to accomplish the task. In order to take down Blume, the plan is to expose the corporations in bed with Blume to hurt their reputation and make them think twice about it. This is done in a string of missions lasting 30 minutes each followed by a news broadcast exposing the story. That’s it. Just like the gameplay, the corporations feel like reskins of each other and for the most part your interactions with these big tech giants begins and ends in that 30-minute mission.

    Sticking with the theme of WD 2, character development is also generic and there is little depth to the characters especially comparing it to the original. Character backstories are summed up in 20 seconds audio files and the only development you see is very minimal surface development. This surface development is usually summed up in a single event that is designed to make you feel sympathetic towards the characters, but often feels forced and instead makes you realize how little development there actually is. For instance, there is one event in the game that is supposed to be emotionally devastating, but the event as well as the emotional impact is all summed up in a single mission and never brought up again making you question how much it really affected the group. To put it in perspective how different the character development is between the two games, I remember Aiden Pierce’s full name after years of not playing the game but had to look up Marcus Holloway’s name even though I just beat the game last week.

    Overall, Watch Dogs 2 was a fun game to play, but there is nothing about it that is going to be memorable except maybe the overly political commentary that even the people they’re trying to appeal to disapprove of. Instead of fixing the problems of the original Watch Dogs, it seems like the company just decided to make a generic action-adventure game to appeal to the most people possible to maximize their profits. If another GTA clone is what you're looking for then go ahead and buy it once it goes on sell but if you are looking for something more then maybe this isn't the game for you.    … Expand

Из незначительных минусов: главный герой скучноват, что нельзя сказать про второстепенных... В общем игра обязательна к прохождению. Тем более скоро выйдет новая часть (Watch Dogs Legion).     just play gta 5. Here the cars drive like **** gameplay didn't hook me. Characters are lame

    The story has some cool elements, nice and nice characters. The gameplay was something that really got me back when I was playing. The world is very beautiful and cool to explore. It has its flaws but I liked it a lot when I played.

    this is a good game by itself. but a truly disappointing sequel. the dark and mature mood of the original game was sacrificed for colorful streets, characters, and missions. too much comedy. the mechanics are still there, the parkour was improved and new toys were added. if you loved the first game's story and atmosphere, you most likely won't hate this one, but won't love it either.

    Unfortunately this game ends up on the pile of soulless open world games that try to hide their deficiencies in atmosphere, game design, mechanics, graphics and aesthetics with a failed and uninteresting multiplayer mode. Price considerations apart, this game is not worth your time.

    It is pretty good game, great story, driving, hacking but the missions are repetitive, go - hack - go back, but overall worth buying it.

    It's ok but cutscenes are blurry, CUTSCENES! I mean it's ok if its not a cutscene cause it's hard to make everything perfect, not to mention I was playing on high so that's not supposed to happen. And man I really hate going towards mission and then suddenly being sent to online, and then I have to manually get out, if I want to play online I'm gonna play online.     I finished almost 100% of the game and I can say that in general it is a good game. Like almost every game, Wacth Dogs 2 gets repetitive after many hours of play. Multiplayer missions are absurdly repetitive. There could be a better system for interacting with game users. The graphics quality is very good and the gameplay too.

San Francisco has something in it, and while it may not fit in with Aidan Pearce's style, it doesn't matter at all, because we don't even play for it here. Marcus comes on the scene, which is much, but much more charismatic, for which I commend the authors. At number one, I complained that the game lacked a protagonist who would express emotions in any way. But Marcus is much better off and not just him. In less than an hour of playing, we meet other characters we play with and they are also much better than those from the previous part. I immediately developed a relationship with them. What was the purpose of the previous game was hacking, which is of course here again. In my opinion, it is neither better nor worse. I think it's the same. It all works better thanks to better characters. Unfortunately, what the developers still didn't finish is shooting, which is not bad, but in the previous game I found it a bit strange, but mainly car control.     I think, however the bugs, the animation problems ect. The game is good. I had a lot of fun playing. I loved the characters, especially Wrench of course.

    The only thing that I didn't like is, you can Make Marcus lethal. Sometimes you have to make him. But that doesn't stand with the message and propaganda. I mean, Marcus wouldn't kill Councillor's guards

    One of the best games I’ve played in a while, hands down. Controls are so much better than Watch_Dogs and the story is just so good! Such a fun and addictive game!

    Отличная игра, но есть минус например: физика и тд. миссии в этой игре слишком однотипные типо сходи туда, потом туда .Про финальную миссию я молчу финальную миссию можно пройти за 25-50 минут, а на другие миссии вам понадобится на много меньше времени. Слава богу что в игре есть функция выбора миссии. Стрельба в этой игре ужасна. It plays to the strength of Ubisoft Monreal studio, the wonderful and detailed recreation of cities, and places accents in the right aspects, even if it struggles to deliver in others.

    With many convenience features, like quick access to the vehicles and plenty of fast travel points, the travel between activities is smooth and intuitive. These activities, unfortunately, aren't as plentiful and diverse, as they are in the best of the genre. You have some fun collecting and side quests to do, with the Uber driver hustle being surprisingly enjoyable, for example, but nothing too deep or meaningful. The main quests, on the other hand, are a pleasant change from what they are in the standard Ubisoft formula, something more akin to the GTA series. They feature cool locations and set pieces, fun concepts, and generally good level design. You will infiltrate a futuristic cathedral to steal the holy writings of a new age confession, a giant server compound, and even a space station, almost becoming a stowaway astronaut. Some missions are weaker than others, but it's a nice collection overall.

    Your approach to completing quests and dealing with encounters may vary, with the skill tree allowing you to craft your own playstyle, even if the choice is not that significant. You can be a stealthy ninja, going behind the backs of the enemies distracted by a phone call you orchestrated with a quick hack, or comfortably sitting in some comfy hideout while controlling the drones that do everything for you with surprising responsiveness, or go full rampage with assault rifles, shotguns, and explosives in an amount that could probably demolish a skyscraper. That last one was really confusing to me, as it causes some serious dissonance with how the plot is set up. The guy you play as, Marcus, is a young hooligan, who does parkour, is obsessed with nerd culture, and doesn't really have other motivation than to be a cool hacker and fight the system. He's overall just a chill dude and it's very jarring to see him shred people with bullets. The group Marcus is a part of, DedSec, also don't really present themselves as straight-up terrorists: they have a wacky media profile with a lot of followers (which are at the same time the stand-in for the EXP in progression system) and come off more as punk anarch-kiddies rather than cold-blooded killers. I opted in for almost exclusively pacifist playthrough as it seemed much, much more fitting. Of course, there's always an argument for game contrivances, but it would be nice to give at least some reason for why killing dozens of people is OK in the context of the situation or lampshade it in some tongue-in-cheek joke, yet I haven't noticed anything like that.

    The story itself is okayish. It lacks any depth and mostly just serves its purpose of giving you the motive to play through main missions, but it's not exactly cliched and doesn't take itself too seriously. Antagonist and your allies in DedSec are appealing, even if kinda one-dimensional. It was nice to get some conflict between in the group, no matter the underwhelming resolution to it. Themes of authoritarian supervision and corporate intrusion in private life were really surface-level, but they were present and felt like a welcomed change from the overdone revenge and "circles of violence" plots.

    As usual for the genre, Watch Dogs 2 doesn't have a memorable story or deep systemic interactions with the world, but the gameplay loop is fun and gets you into some interesting situations, making the title overall a rather pleasant experience.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I got Watch Dogs 2 off of a free Epic Games sale cause I heard it was okay. But, after playing through the entire game, I didn't expect this abysmal garbage for a game.

    First, let me start out with the pros. The city looks great! It really seems like Ubisoft actually took time with modeling San Francisco. And even though my PC is bad, I was still able to run full graphic settings. The characters look great as well. All of them very detailed and life-like. The Movie star mission was actually really fun. Although I don't understand the meaning of this mission. I really liked it. But about here is where the pros stop. Everything else about the game makes me want to shove a spoon up my butt

    Cons. Let me start with the story missions. The missions are all just a copy paste. Here, I'll give you an example of all of them. There is a big tech company doing something highly illegal. So, you break into there HQ, steal data/install virus. Then you find there is a underground basement that no one knows about. After you get inside the underground basement, you escape. That's it. That is all of the mission summed up in one paragraph. Second you have the cars. While they are highly detailed, when you wreck them, which you will eventually do of course, the glass cracks. The cracked glass looks terrible. It seems that Ubisoft spent a day on the glass cracks then went straight back to city modeling. Third, the "hacking". Now I understand why Ubisoft did not implment actual hacking into there game. I do not understand why they implemented two hacking features. you can hack a person or object. Or you spend 5 mind numbingly boring minutes rotating little puzzle pieces to open a door. When ever I got to a part where it had that terrible, god-forbidden, awful puzzle part, I'd scream. It's just a lazy excuse for saying "you are hacker man". Lastly, (too make this review a lot shorter) the story. The story has no words for how bad it is. it was written by a bunch of 4 year olds in business clothes. They killed the least likeable character so they could say that it is emotional. No one liked Horatio, I can tell you that for a fact. Ubisoft did not put him in any of the side missions just in case you played them after he died. He also had no role. Marcus: main character, Josh: nerdy white guy hacker. Wrench: funny robotics guy, Sitara: the girl, Ray: Marcus's friend/introduced late. Horatio was just... there. Also, there were no stakes. You never did a mission at the risk of someone's death. The automated cut scenes are filled with glitches and are very robotic. Now let me talk about the final mission. There is nothing different. Sure you got to play as Sitara and Wrench... for ten seconds. I'd be cool if you were able to play as them after you finished the game. like, do the side missions as Sitara. or race as Wrench. But no. Then the rest of the mission follows the exact same basic guide line as before! There is no difference besides you win. The only reason why i knew it was the end was cause of the achievement I got at the end. It really did not seem like the final one to me. The ending of a game should be heartfelt, bittersweet. It should say, "We did this. We took the time, exposed the world, and saved it as well. We did this". but instead it just one of those stupid glichy commercial things.
    All in all, comparing this to GTA V is like comparing Super Mario 64 with Bubsy 3D. They are both 3D platformers on the n64. But Bubsy 3D is better. Bye bye.    … Expand

    Good game. Excellent graphics (only bad reflections on cars and buildings), good gameplay, a fairly lively world. A stupid and bad plot without revealing the characters. By tradition, Ubisoft has bad car physics (but in part 2 it is still not so bad compared to Legion).

    I wanted to play this game a lot because idea of this gameplay interested me and after first game I wanted to know what is changed but I couldn't because this game is not optimized for lot of videocards and processors With ryzen 5 and rx 560 I couldn't get 30 fps in minimum graphics settings I could play red dead redemption on 40 fps and gta 5 on ultra 60 fps on this but couldn't watch dogs 2

    Unlike the first game where multiplayer was kind of a mess, the sequel offers a pretty solid multiplayer experience. Playing Watch Dogs 2 co-op is definitely a blast, especially if you're experiencing the game with a friend.

    In the end, Watch Dogs 2 feels like an improvement over the previous game in the series. The characters are fun to play as and interact with, all of the hacking elements have a lot more depth and make more sense, and the world feels more alive and rich than ever before, design wise and graphics wise. However the game does suffer from mediocrity in regards to its shooting mechanics and stealth sections. Is it a fun game? Yeah, sure it is. Is it one of my games of the year? Not really.

    Hacking and stealth elements are so good in Watch Dogs 2 and as a whole the game is so much better than its predecessor that I managed to turn a blind eye to the fact that Dedsec members are annoying as hell. [01/2017, p.32]
