    Thank you Blizzard for not turning Warcraft 3 into a cinematic movie. Enjoying the updated graphics and glad to see the original content fully intact and running smoothly. Great job.

    A game I’m very much enjoying. Could they have done more? Sure. But it’s wonderful to revisit this world again with enhanced graphics and a few new mechanics. Is it worth the re-bombing being done by people who've not even played the game? No.

    People have lost their minds. It looks awesome widescreen. Did people forget that this is not Warcraft IV? It looks and feels the way I remember it but updated enough to make me forget how bad it would look now. There is one menu that animates a bit slow but that's it. The cinematic parts look amazing widescreen. Did everyone forget this used to play in only a non-widescreen format? I amPeople have lost their minds. It looks awesome widescreen.     То что ожидали от ремастера, то и получили. Игра красивая и интересная, в одном орке полигонов стало больше чем во всём варкрафте 3 целиком. Хейттрейн не заслуженный, думайте своей головой.

    Blizzard lied with the game, okay, the graphics are good, it works on the e 9400 and ptx 2060 well, but you can no longer install the client of the original version of Warcraft 3. What? Just three months ago I started the game and everything was fine.

    I really like the new graphics and having the option to switch back to the classic graphics. I jumped into a 1v1 game vs A.I. and it felt as good as all the matches I've played of Warcraft III over the years. So far so good, can't wait to finish the story campaign! Thanks for this game and all you do, Blizzard!

My honest impressions can be found below (for info, I played the crap out of Warcraft 3 back in the day and finished the expansion and replayed the game several times during the course of the past 17 years. I have never played WOW):

    I'm playing WIII:R on a newly purchased I7 9750 gaming laptop, 16gb ram, GTX    I just bought the game and finished the Orc campaign in one run. I had a blast. My honest impressions can be found below (for info, I played the crap out of Warcraft 3 back in the day and finished the expansion and replayed the game several times during the course of the past 17 years. I have never played WOW):

    I'm playing WIII:R on a newly purchased I7 9750 gaming laptop, 16gb ram, GTX 1660 ti and an SSD. the laptop is connected to a 240hz, 27" gaming monitor that produces crisp and detailed graphics at 1080p resolution maximum. My rig runs all the latest games on high settings. Therefore, my video settings were set to 1080p - high graphics and the game played smoothly, I didn't encounter any graphical glitch whatsoever or even slowdowns or drops in framerates in intense battles (I encountered one other bug I will describe in the cons section below)

    Pros:
    - The remastered graphics are fantastic. The game is colourful and detailed. If you zoom in on the characters, you'll notice their detailed and shiny armors and skins. The graphics are a huge improvement over the original and don't believe all these crying babies that tell you otherwise. Your pions / grunts and heroes have much more polygons and it is noticeable. It is difficult to go back to the original version of the game after playing the remastered version. Characters have more fluid and detailed animations as well, buildings are colourful and have animation. Resolution is crisp, the overall look and feel of the game is great.
    - The game plays smoothly on higher frame rates (at least on my PC) and I did not have the impression it is very demanding in terms of PC requirements, there are much more options than the original in the video section in order to adjust the game at your liking.
    - Gameplay is surprisingly fresh and enjoyable for a 17 years remastered old game. Battles are still exciting and challenging at higher difficulties. I noticed there are slight improvement to the story, like more relics the heroes can grab for their inventory.
    - Sound is remastered and very crisp and detailed. Music is great.
    - I am a single player person most of the time, but I tried a multiplayer match for the sake of this review as well as a skirmish match against the AI. Verdict: it's quick and easy to run into a multiplayer match or adjust the conditions for a multiplayer map. I had some difficulties finding the Skirmish at first, but it's definitely there and there are different scenarios/ maps to extend the fun after you complete the story.
    - There are different skins you can unlock (by beating challenges or missions) and use them as Avatar. It's not very interesting as I don't care about this kind of things but some people might enjoy unlocking them all. And there are quite a few.
    - You have the ability to chat with other players from the main lobby and share some information. you can interact with them, by requesting friendship for example or reporting them even.
    - Navigating the options is intuitive and responsive, and as I mentioned before you have quite a few options you can adjust. Much more than the original that's for sure.
    - There is an option to play with the remastered graphics or original. Try it and see the difference

    Cons:
    - Blizzard should have sold the game at a discount for the people that already own W3. It is unfair that a game you bought 18 months ago just disappears and you are unable to access it anymore. I even think it is illegal.
    - I noticed a bug where after completing a mission, the game crashes when you are starting the next mission and immediately shows you the "defeat" screen. It is easily remediable by leaving the game and accessing it again. These bugs can easily and quickly be addressed with a patch.

    To conclude: I would like to thank Blizzard for the efforts they put in this game. I hope their developers can read this review and know that there are genuine people out there that have an independent opinion and who truly appreciate the efforts they put to bring us this amazing game. Also I have zero doubt that 99% of these so called reviewers here have either not played the game or are expressing a political or business related opinion against Blizzard. Anyway, it is too obvious these opinions are biased and not based on facts. Blizzard, keep sending us the good stuff and we will support your efforts by purchasing your products and show you our gratitude.

    10/10 will replay it again and again.    … Expand

    This game is always going classic or reforged or both now that both WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos and WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne are respectively released on July 3, 2002 and July 1, 2003.

    Positive review just to balance all the 0s. The game is neither a 10/10 nor is it a 0/10. It's more around 5-6/10, and it definitely does not deserve to be under crap like Day One: Garry's Incident. You may be butthurt, but it's an adequate game.

    This game is not meant to be played on a potato, if your are seeing bad graphics or getting bugs or crashes then upgrade your rig, the 2 days I have been playing, seen no bugs or crashes, its like a weird hate mob, how many who wrote a negative review actually played it. a lot of fake reviews.

    I think haters Just expected more. The false advertising was bad. But If you wanted a nostalgia trip, and some good old fashioned casual experience. Its there. And I absolutelly love it

    If you had followed along with Blizzard during the development process you wouldn't be so suprised as to what was released. I like the game and will enjoy for years to come. The only downside is the lack of the LAN feature. This was my childhood and I realize I can just join games online with them but it still hurts a wee bit

    If you are one of those people who was playing campaign mode of WC3 at least once a year, this game will make you happy. Graphics are good, ingame cutscenes and story is really good. Could it be better? Yes, I would of course expect every cinematic to be remade like the intro one, but as story goes, it's mostly ingame anyways. And we all should know how long a

    Could it be better? Yes, I would of course expect every cinematic to be remade like the intro one, but as story goes, it's mostly ingame anyways. And we all should know how long a proper CGI cinematic work and effort takes, if you don't a lot! It would double the price and amount of time we had to wait.

    So, personally I would just lower my 2 points from that and maybe some lack of details like weather and atmosphere effects in 3D engine and interface resizing.

    But that's really all I can think about and these kind of small negatives surely don't make it a 1 or 0 at all. Not allowing custom maps to be owned by their makers is also very understandable, Blizzard just does not want another DotA incident that will create another DotA 2 and LoL.

    I am having a great time with the game, got lucky and don't have any issues I guess. Same game I haven't stopped playing since I was a kid, for sure worth all the money I spent on it.

    Это один из самых лучших ремейков! Да, близзард не переделали все ролики и не добавили полноценные катсцены, но других существенных минусов у данного ремейка просто нет. Новые модели очень красивые и детализированные, новая озвучка примерно на уровне оригинала (местами лучше, местами хуже) ну а геймплейно это та же самая игра 2002 года. Именно это и должно быть в хорошем ремейке)

    A Masterpiece - Reforged.

    Blizzard did a great Job with this remaster. They did way more than they needed to do. almost every mission has new cutscenes , voice acting and goals. So much love did they put in this game. Its easy the first GOTY Contenter 2020. At its core its the same Masterpiece as Warcraft 3 but they did almost everything new and better. Its like the best game ever made    A Masterpiece - Reforged.

And the best thing is this 100 Hour Epic Masterpiece only cost 30 Bucks. What a great deal what a great gesture from Blizzard not wanting full Price what this game is more than worth.     I never quit playing Warcraft 3. It's one of my happy places to launch it up and enjoy it with coffee in the morning or on a quiet night when everyone is asleep. I also have a few friends that would come over to play LAN multiplayer rounds with me. This remaster (reforged) is excellent. I have been enjoying the beta and now I am enjoying the full release thoroughly. I am a nerd and have 5I never quit playing Warcraft 3. I haven't had any issue playing the game on any of them. When I say varying hardware I mean some computers have Intel CPU with Nvidia graphics, some have AMD CPU with Nvidia graphics, and one has Intel CPU with AMD Radeon graphics. I can't understand why anyone would be having trouble running the game unless they had an extremely cheap gaming computer... and mine are not considered top of the line gaming machines by any measure any longer. They were maybe 4 years ago. I basically logged in to throw down my 10/10 score to do my part to help fix this games metacritic rating. I have nothing but love for this game and this remaster.… Expand

    Don´t understand the bad Reviews.
    The Game was years ago a good game and today its still a good game.
    That you miss new Cutscenes don't make it a bad game, the gameplay is still good.

    Warcraft III: Reorged is probably the biggest game I have ever played. This is a new version of the masterpiece that can improve the game forever. I have really improved a very memorable story. Amazing game for hundreds of hours. Great graphics to replace dirty graphics from 2003.

    I would also like to talk about the new map folder. The cartographer is not worth it. For this reason we    Warcraft III: Reorged is probably the biggest game I have ever played.     I would also like to talk about the new map folder. The cartographer is not worth it. For this reason we use the global processor from Blizzard. This child also becomes soft before the wrong card is inserted. One last tip: Blizzard may have another DotA, so that companies like Valve and Gabe can spend Newell without losing.

    Thanks also to Blizzard, who has removed the old and outdated Warcraft III and has offered players the opportunity to take advantage of the new and updated advanced features. One of the many communication functions of Battle.net is expanding the community.

    I enjoyed playing this game instead of WoW Classic Cache Tie. You must start the old game without having a clear cash removal plan (as opposed to Rereforged).    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
