May 23, 2020Merry, cute, charming, colorful, fun, breezy, feel-good thing. The mechanic of swirling the joystick around to create mouth noises is fun to play around with as you dance around through the colorful environments with your dopey bard who stumbles upon various distinct personalities brought to life through nifty writing, splendid hi-tech fontwork and whatnot.

May 15, 2020Not to detract from the enjoyment of those who hold this in high regard, but the fact that it is colourful and cartoony are the only good things I can say about it. The music and sound design should be good in a game about music. Only look at this if you are looking for something mind-numbingly relaxing.

Sep 29, 2018Absolutely perfect.
There's however one thing that bothers me in this game and it's how the screen shakes constantly. -

Feb 2, 2020One of the greatest games I've ever played - I'm aware it has flaws (I speedrun the game, i should know) but it still earns a 10/10 as an essential experience for anyone who's ever played... a game. Anyone who's ever played games. Yeah.

May 19, 2019Bland and simplistic game that doesn't even maintain a coherent storyline. It tries to have that great "innocent" Nintendo vibe but falls short and let the biased idological views of the game writer of the game out at times. Not worth the money.

Jan 16, 2019This game is absolutely precious. The story is sweet, every character is absolutely lovable, and the art style complements it perfectly. There wasn't a single moment of the game that didn't have some sort of impact on me.

Jul 4, 2019This game...holy crap.
I-I just can't describe how **** great this game is.
The game made me smile for miles and almost made me cry, The singing mechanic was executed so perfectly that it just feels like second nature. And the art style and music, don't get me started on them, they are like the best cake that's been kissed on the cheek by God himself.
TL;DR: This game is **** great. -

Jun 3, 2022A wholesome and cute game. Play as a harmless little bard who must solve all the problems presented through the power of song (and friendship). The gameplay isn't complicated or difficult, mostly just some platforming/puzzles. Simple, yet fun writing that make an enjoyable story to play through. Plenty of fun songs to play and listen to throughout.

Sep 23, 2019With its creatively whimsical yet sincere approach, entertaining mechanics, memorable story, likable characters and vibrant world, Wandersong proves to be one of the most memorable and endearing games to come out of an independent studio in recent times.

Oct 24, 2018I listened to Wandersong's soundtrack while writing this review, and I've been happily jiggling my leg throughout.

Oct 22, 2018Wandersong proves there are still many things no one has done in a video game before. Gameplay and story-wise is great, and even though the controls still need some tweaking, it’s a game you should try if you’re looking for something original.
