    it's funny how different the "users" have scored this game vs. "the critics". this is a great game that will hook you like a nice bait to a fish.

    The best PC tennis game ever released. If you are a tennis fan, and like tennis games it is well worth your money. I bought it for $9.99 at EB in the mall. I don't regret buying it at all....and probably never will.

    It's brilliant, totally addictive, its just simply the best tennis game evor 4 the ps2 + computer, i cant wait until they make anogher 1.

    Virtua Tennis 1, también conocido como Power Smash en Japón, es un clásico que hasta hoy día daría palizas a los juegos actuales de tenis. Con sus fallos y todo sigue siendo un juego muy divertido y adictivo. Uno de los puntos más flojos es la falta de tenistas más destacados en su época: No están ni Sampras ni Agassi, sólo en la versión de arcade recién aparece Philippoussis (que tampocoVirtua Tennis 1, también conocido como Power Smash en Japón, es un clásico que hasta hoy día daría palizas a los juegos actuales de tenis. Con sus fallos y todo sigue siendo un juego muy divertido y adictivo. Uno de los puntos más flojos es la falta de tenistas más destacados en su época: No están ni Sampras ni Agassi, sólo en la versión de arcade recién aparece Philippoussis (que tampoco fue un tenista que marcó mucho).     The graphics looked photorealistic back in the day. Like a real tennis match. Gameplay-wise it's very arcadey but very fun.

    Whatever your platform preference, the gameplay is still absolutely spot-on, the graphics aren't yet dated enough to make a difference and you can rock-out to some lethal guitar while you're at it!
