First of all, tutorial doesn't really teach you anything that's important for the game, such as different abilities uses.

Gameplay - is slow, boring for me to play and to watch. Map design - poor map design, not much work went into making the different maps, basic maps with no importance of map control, everymap feels like the only thing there is to it is the different bombsites.

Guns feel cheap and are overall weird, they don't look like they should feel, the sprays are very weird and are not always the same.

if the file size for this game was more than 15 gb, i would probably never had downloaded it.

game is csgo but noob friendly with sh!tty maps.

If this game was released when League of Legends did, it would be awesome. Now it's just like a flash explorer based game. Everything in this game is basic, animations, map, environment, damn even champions are just like a basic concept made by an indie company.

    Nothing new.
    Ugly graphics.
    Art style doesn't fit realism.
Over agresive anti cheat system that runs allways doesn't uninstal with the game (such things should be illigal) doesn't stop cheaters.
    Doesn't run that well.

The hype for this game was blown out of proportion as it was expected. For some reason, Riot felt that there's a need for another competitive shooter despite all the fronts being covered. CS:GO is where their game took the most from, except instead of utility you have different "agents" and their abilities. As you can imagine those will be constantly updated, buffed and nerfed, which makes the game feel more like a MOBA than an actual shooter. Some agents are so good they're basically a must-have on every team, like Sage.

In terms of gameplay it's closer to CS 1.6 than the current CS:GO. Peeker's advantage is a disaster. Tagging is insane and much stronger than CS:GO. For a tactical "shooter" there are still quite a few abilities that can kill you without you ever having to use your weapon.

Then there's Vanguard. Riot's anti-cheat has caused numerous issues throughout the beta and surprise surprise there hasn't been an update on it besides adding the option to uninstall it/disable it. It's basically a rootkit which works from the moment you boot your PC, so it can detect any cheats. Then why is the game still filled with cheaters? In addition to that, Vanguard interferes with other programs and might cause lower fps or straight-up mess with your BIOS and melt some of your components (I wish I was joking).

The game can run on a potato because it looks like a potato. Some people would say that CS:GO has bad and outdated graphics, but at least they were made in the last 10 years. Valorant looks like an unapproved project from the 2000s. Not that it matters though everyone's here for the "revolutionary" gameplay and competitive scene.

Speaking of the competitive scene, there isn't one yet. Riot haven't revealed anything outside of a guide which states some requirements. This didn't stop big organizations from already hiring a full roster for the game. Those usually consist of washed-up CS:GO players and others who wanted a change from Overwatch, which is already dying.

There's only one question, who will play this game once the hype dies out and people realize it's nothing special. Anyone giving Valorant a higher score at its current state is obviously paid to do so. Critics won't give it a single bad review because they're bought. Just read through the bad one to get a good idea what's not right with the game and don't waste your time with it.

sure not paid in a oldfashioned way . but suddenly having 100k viewers due to drops is rly welcome payment i'd say for people that live from theirs numbers.

    Now to my thoughts
-gameplay feels more repetitive than in cs
    -movement is slow
    -Guns dont have any identity
-abilities are nowhere near to be balanced and imo just make the game worse
(imagine killing 4 people and then there is a wall that keeps you away from the bomb and you lose cause 30 seconds aint enough to run around it or to destroy it ) same goes to the rpg. great skill just insta kills on aoe. wont even start with the grenades of raze)
-maps feel boring. (only 4 maps on release)
-Graphics. WOW in 2005 had similar graphics didnt it? abilities look ugly af. especially viper stuff
-vanguard is just annoying. in the beginning it blocked my cpuZ and my msi rgb software

Overall i think this game just misses its own identity. what is actually from riot here? the graphics ? well done. you are on the level of 2005.

The heroes make your game more limited and casual, which is not what a CS:GO player would want.

Riot is being lazy by trying to profit off of an existing formula. They executed it badly, and that’s why this game gets a 0 out of 10, because it’s a lazy copy, an attempt to steal players from a winning formula and not doing a good job. Don’t support this game. A good developer would create a fun and original game made form their own vision. Riot did not do that. They used their capital to steal players from an existing game. And of course they added 70 euro + skin packs from launch. It is very obvious what these devs want from you. The addictiveness of counterstrike and making you pay for it. Sorry Riot, you failed. Get your own idea’s and make an original game :)

There are many issues with this game. One, the maps are garbage due to their inherit claustrophobic nature where you need to check 647437867485 corners. Two, it feels like Riot sacrificed the creativity of weapons in favour of the "creativity" of abilities; the main sniper is clunky, and plays as if it was designed for one purpose of holding angles on defence. The CS:GO deagle equivalent cannot head shot kill from a far distance on armoured opponents and cannot be spammed close range, decreasing the potential of this weapon. With a few exceptions, the abilities are lackluster too, aside from the ultimate abilities, which add some zest to the game play. Thirdly, the game is "bulky". Slow movement speed is the primary culprit for this, but the weapons also feel heavy and weighted-down. These three things prevent the riveting adrenaline rushes and dopamine hits i get off other tactical shooters like CS:GO where freedom to express yourself through the weapons provided is part of what makes the game so fun.

However, on a technical basis, the game is flawless- it is smooth, can run on a potato, and has good hit registration. The cartoony graphics are polarising and look similar to over watch and TF2, but work well for the game. Easier wall banging and the perfect balance of the games' two main rifles are also amongst the games strengths. Just to add an extra note, this game will appeal to people who just couldn't hack it in CS:GO (sorry). Casual elements such as RNG sprays and abilities like Sage's heal and Raze's rocket launcher affirm this.

Overall, the game is free, so try it if you wish. However, it isn't fun in its current form, though its potential is high in the future.

Not gonna lie, the game gets boring very fast. It also does not have enough content and have you seen the skin pricing??
I'm not a fan of the art direction either, the style just doesn't blend together well - the character do not fit the map design, it's a visual mess.
It's also extremely boring to watch. Had hopes for this one, since it's a CSGO with OW abilities kind of thing, but

The weapons are too samey and uninteresting.
So much about this game is just, boring and lame. The prices for MTX are also criminally high. Like, absolutely absurd. I think GGG set MTX for Path of Exile too high, (even though I've somehow spent over 1,000 on supporter packs), but these prices make those look like dollar store price points.

Eh, I don't know. It just doesn't feel like a "2020 gen" game. It's just a (somehow) worse version of CS with Overwatch themed heroes. Not even going to get into the rootkit level "anti cheat" (that doesn't even **** work).
    4/10

I feel like if they would make the games "First to 7" instead of 13, it would be much more enjoyable because you wouldn't be held hostage in a bad game. Rework the weapons and add more of them. Balance the heroes and remove the extreme Kill Potential from some heroes kits, and make the game less "campy."

The fact that you have to completely stop moving in order to shoot with any modicum of accuracy is astonishing to say the least. There is no run and gun at all, you just pitch up a tent and wait for people to walk around blind corners.

Invisibility and heal to max + sheilds as well as a large area flash that lasts 5 seconds on the newest agent and the noob-tube with 4 nades (2 blast, 1 nade, 1 roomba nade). Healers are never a good thing in FPS. Being able to track who and how many are low is a core CS mechanic, but a healer will almost always be full health when you see them again. Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
