Nov 17, 2025UMAMI is simply a delightful game to whittle away some time playing. You just feel so chilled out and lost in this world full of beautifully-designed cakes and their matching surroundings. Plus, there's that little extra sweetness with petting the animals on each finished cake and finding a hidden card in each level. UMAMI is sweetly simplistic and a great escapism for puzzle lovers and cozy gamers. I just wish there were more puzzles to do because I was so blown away by the uniqueness and imagination with each one. This is a title I'll definitely be playing again.

Nov 17, 2025Umami is a very well crafted puzzle game that lets you take things at your own pace. Each of the puzzles is very well put together and look great, while the levels themselves provide a relaxing atmosphere. A couple of minor issues with the puzzle pieces do not totally detract from a game that lets you just sit and enjoy yourself.

Nov 17, 2025Mimmox's creative mission to share enjoyable and relaxing games that help players unwind rather than wind them up is off to a good start with Umami. It's a whimsical and thoroughly wholesome puzzle experience that didn't push any buttons of frustration or confusion whatsoever. It gives you that gentle, consistent dose of dopamine with no need to go overboard visually or contextually. Critiques are truly minimal in this case, mainly just about how Umami could have been expanded just a bit further in terms of gameplay without sacrificing its pacing or overall tone of sensory relaxation. I genuinely look forward to seeing more from this studio.
