    I realize the game had problems when it was released. I was lucky enough to have registered my purchase, and got the updated cd mailed to me just as I was going to remake my character anyway, so it worked out for me.

    It was rather revolutionary for the time, probably too much so. It's open world with a unique spellcasting system, many weapons and special attacks, and alchemy.
