Players who appreciated what Tyranny has to offer will definitely enjoy Bastard's Wound, as the side content it introduces is of the highest quality and true to the standards set by its developers. Those looking for more substantial additions to the game’s main storyline, however, might find themselves a bit let down by it.

Tyranny: Bastard’s Wound is an impressive piece of DLC as it takes the choice-heavy gameplay of Tyranny and seamlessly weaves it into the previously-made choices by the player. Whether or not this content is essential depends on how much someone enjoyed Tyranny and if they want more of it.

Tyranny: Bastard's Wound builds upon the excellent world-building and writing of the main game to offer a compelling side-story filled with engaging characters and twists where players choices matter as much as ever before. With the lack of any significant new mechanic, however, those who expected more than just a new story may be slightly disappointed.

A decent DLC, that offer a well structured dungeon and some interesting quest lines, but does nothing to evolve the base product or give it closure in a more satisfying way (no, the new ending does not count). Still, if you liked the original game, it's a good addition to an already good rpg.

Short, overpriced, poorly marketed, and disappointing. The game doesn't even let me know it's installed, let alone how to access it. SomeShort, overpriced, poorly marketed, and disappointing. The game doesn't even let me know it's installed, let alone how to access it. Some content *only* available in the second act, so you can't use a save just before the end.

Companion quests are mostly for companions I never use, what about the rest?

I got lucky and installed DLC when I was playing Tyranny again in Act II, so I was able to play the new quests and locations. Anyway - the DLCI got lucky and installed DLC when I was playing Tyranny again in Act II, so I was able to play the new quests and locations. Anyway - the DLC is short and full of bugs. Tyranny is one of best best of RPGs issued lately but this DLC is on much lower level. It's not worth to buy it with fuil prize. Full Review »

Tyranny is an exceptional game that deserves paradox's full attention to truly grow into the potential fan favorite it promises to be.
