I know the board game and indeed it is surely one of the best board games ever. This adaptation is well done: The overview is very good, the KI is much too good. The tutorial is smart, it explains you this complex game in few minutes.

So what could be better? There is only 1 difficulty. I am sure, it could be easy to implement at least 3 difficulties. 5 would be better or even more.

So what could be better? There is only 1 difficulty. I am sure, it could be easy to implement at least 3 difficulties. 5 would be better or even more. There is a handicap, but this is not enough. Unfortunately the KI is very hard, so it is frustration in the beginning.
When the KI plays a card it is shown much too fast, so I have to look in the last play area very often.
It takes too much time to wait for the turn of the KI.
More Mods or easy options to change the rules would be nice. For example I play the board games with minor changes to reduce the luck factor: A 6 = 5 and a 1 =2 in the dice. And I have a joker card to repeat a roll. This card is played like the china card: When you use it, you give it to the opponent.

    So 7/10 from me

As a board game conversion then, Twilight Struggle succeeds in delivering a faithful, relatively slick digital experience wrapped up in a mostly pleasing user interface.

The tutorial is great, the matchmaking system works nicely, and the game even knows enough only to send you an email reminder about your turn when you are not logged in. It’s like Playdek thought of everything...It’s not so much about whether the game is any good. It’s whether it’s any good for you. It’s more than just good for me.

It was a beautiful board game. And now it is a beautiful interactive experience. Poker, card tactics and Risk-like conquest merge and draw you into a world of scheming, bluffs and Cold War.
