    TurnOn is an enjoyable and heartwarming little game. With electrical wires instead of platforms, it offers gameplay that feels fresh, piquing your interest at every turn with whatever new adventure or obstacle you’ll face next.

    TurnOn is a very interesting experience, with clever and fresh ideas. It doesn't make the most of them, but it still is very enjoyable.

    At first, TurnOn strikes you as a bolt of lightning. Wow, the first Russian indie game released under the ID@Xbox banner, and with nice graphics and sound to boot. After the initial shock wears off, you notice the roughness around the edges, the lack of multiplayer with leaderboards (for musical levels), irregular checkpoint placement, the hero jumping through textures…

    TurnOn is a platform indie game that features a lot of secrets to discover and a lot of levels. However, this game doesn’t make you want to replay it and its variety of content is a little bit limited.

    A cutesy puzzle-platformer that's not bringing anything new to the table, TurnOn might not be a very complex game, but it's still a relaxing experience, especially for the first commercial game by the young studio.

    This leaves TurnOn in a tough spot. More than 90% of the game is a high-quality, quirky, relaxing exploratory platformer. Unfortunately, that game is broken up and gated off by runner levels that add a disconnected (and possibly fatal) element of challenge, so I can’t recommend it for that strength.
