PC Master (Greece)Feb 6, 2013Tryst will not win an originality award but it’s a ‘solid’ RTS, catering to those that yearn for an old-fashioned game, sporting a decent single-player mode and robust multiplayer features to keep them, and their online friends, entertained. [January 2013]

Oct 1, 2012Tryst is a good RTS developed by BlueGiant Interactive. It's able to entertain, especially in multiplayer mode, and is recommended to all RTS players who want a dynamic title.
-
Sep 27, 2012Tryst could be summarized with one, single word: speed. Everything in the game is fast, sometimes too fast, but it is a good way to provide an easy approach to hardcore gamers as well as newcomers.

Nov 2, 2012Especially online I had quite some fun with this strategy that not even remotely tries to hide that it is a StarCraft clone. And to be honest – there isn't much more to it. Somewhat entertaining.
-
Oct 25, 2012Tryst seems to be targeting people looking for an RTS experience at a lower price point, and I think there might be something here for those gamers. Meanwhile, the game's developers are promising bug fixes, fleshed out tutorials, and DLC to make the game worth the price for the rest of us.
-
Oct 1, 2012Tryst is a decent game for a decent price but know going in that it has a fair number of issues that (hopefully) will be patched.
-
Sep 29, 2012Tryst is an RTS based on resource gathering that enriches his extremely classic gameplay with unit customization and environmental hazard. The result is a solid experience, especially in multiplayer, flawed by poor graphics, average sound and a short campaign.
-
Sep 25, 2012It's interesting, baffling and - at times - bizarre whilst it lasts, and if the community ultimately flocks around it during the coming weeks, you'll likely have a few hours' fun delving into multiplayer matches and figuring out your best build queues before moving on.
-
Jan 29, 2013Tryst shows no originality in both story and gameplay. All that it has to offer was made by Blizzard 14 years ago.
-
Oct 22, 2012Tryst is a title that could have done with some more time in development.
-
Oct 14, 2012BlueGiant has't brought us a very good title. It could be improved in many aspects and it doesn't offer anything new. Maybe its price and multiplayer will make it interesting for some players, but we think it's not worth it unless you're a fanatic of the genre.
-
Sep 25, 2012Tryst could be described as a poor man's StarCraft, but in this case I'd advise the poor man to save up and simply play StarCraft. This game is generally derivative and far too rough around the edges to bother with for long, with its good ideas buried under presentation and usability problems.
