"Transformers: The Game" is not THAT bad. It has gleaming graphics with good lighting textures. It's only the repetitive campaign, uninspired story, and a lack of multiplayer that pulls this game out of the "good game" lane.

Well... to be honest, the graphics were just mediocre and they do look a little blurred even without the effects on. I find if kind of weird that you need to throw objects on certain enemies in order to defeat them. Also, your guns will be practically useless most of the time. Transformer fans would sure get a whole lot of fun out of this action packed game, that is if they have the endurance to complete the entire game even though it is deemed as relatively short. Oh yea, the CG movies were awefully detailed too. Well, the most problematic thing is probably the driving mechanism. You seem to be driving on ice, so whole a lot of missions in which you need to chase, persuit, escape, reach in time, will prove to be a chore to complete. Perhaps a 6.5 would be more appropriate. I expected more from this game seeing the fairly high scores it got from above. The movie was ingenius though. Expand

This game has both good and bad. The missions of the game are unbalanced. Some of the missions are so easy and repetitive while some are hard and frustrating. The last battle against Megatron in the Autobot Campaign is so easy that it doesn't feel like an epic showdown at all. Nevertheless it had some great battles. (More battles than the movie itself) Another pro is that the TransformersThis game has both good and bad. The missions of the game are unbalanced. There are lots of Giant Alien robots with special weapons and vehicle modes as playable or fight against and also most of them have dialogues and special scenes which is something the movie lacks. (Except Ratchet who only appear in 2 cutscenes of the game.) Also with good freeroaming in different environments, additional tasks to do and collectibles to find, this game was enjoyable and worth spending time on. Expand

Типичная игра по фильму, в которой есть пара интересных моментов, но в целом, это проходняк.

at least they were honest with the future plans about the series. (gameplay gives it away)
Graphics are kinda good i guess but the game is not fully open world yes you have to go to a specific point to enter a level but after the suburbs (the beggining of the game) things start to go downhill. The decepticon levels are terrible you could expect them to put just a little bit of destroy

IN YOUR FACE DESTROY WHATEVER THE HELL ASSET WE'VE GOT'' it's a little dissapointing game.

  1. While the gameplay is somewhat shallow, and the racing elements sometimes frustrating, there is plenty to say about getting a Transformers game with high production value and an all-star voice team. Activision and Traveller’s Tales have brought the new movie to life with a decent beat-em-up title that doesn’t succumb to the movie tie-in curse.
  2. Transformers doesn't make any radical changes to the classic action game genre, but it does have likeable characters and top-notch production values, coupled with enjoyable gameplay.
  3. It’s about on par with all other movie licensed games: relatively short, decent graphics, decent gameplay, and not much value to it.
