Nov 8, 2011"Transformers: The Game" is not THAT bad. It has gleaming graphics with good lighting textures. It's only the repetitive campaign, uninspired story, and a lack of multiplayer that pulls this game out of the "good game" lane.

TranSformersthegameJul 1, 2007This game has everything an action gamer could ask for. Fast cars, big explosions, and exaggerated physics. In how many games can you say that you can throw a bus at a giant robot? Visually it's presentable and the game play is somewhat repetitive but is fairly entertaining.

RichG.Jun 29, 2007The only redeeming thing is the cool looking graphics. Otherwise, complete waste of time. Buggy controls, annoying camera, horrible collision detection, bad level design, plays like it's on rails.

JonasM.Jul 5, 2007Cool concept, poorly done... The animations really do suck, and so does the sounds. But the graffix are ok.. I give it a 3, just because i love Transformers.

Idon'tknowmynameJan 19, 2008The only bit of the game that really holds up or is worth the money is the bit where you change from robot to car/aircraft/ect and back. Other than that, it's not worth the money, except maybe for diehard fans.

May 11, 2011Designed to look good in screenshots, actually so terrible Its indescribable. Avoid at all costs. The pedestrians are particle effects, the combat is boring, the enemies are idiotic, the cutscenes forget to play most of the time, and its just plain terrible.
-
Aug 20, 2011While the combat is enjoyable, the game overall is bland and rushed. The controls are almost non-responsive, and if you climb on a building and look at say, a park, you'll find that the park is an almost Minecraft-ish block of land with no curves at all. I could have done that on Paint, and they have it in a high production game. Pah.

Jun 18, 2022Типичная игра по фильму, в которой есть пара интересных моментов, но в целом, это проходняк.

Jan 18, 2020The game is, really good on PC, the controls, gameplay, action, destruction, they are all good and in PC, you can make your own story by modding the game and, you can change your characters textures (using texmod) and if you don't know how to mod, there's a whole modding comunity

Jul 28, 2022I really like this game it has good scenery destruction and fun gameplay but it's just not worth a 10 because the size of the campaign is ridiculous

While the gameplay is somewhat shallow, and the racing elements sometimes frustrating, there is plenty to say about getting a Transformers game with high production value and an all-star voice team. Activision and Traveller’s Tales have brought the new movie to life with a decent beat-em-up title that doesn’t succumb to the movie tie-in curse.
-
Transformers doesn't make any radical changes to the classic action game genre, but it does have likeable characters and top-notch production values, coupled with enjoyable gameplay.
-
It’s about on par with all other movie licensed games: relatively short, decent graphics, decent gameplay, and not much value to it.
