Ok so I'm going to jump straight on the bandwagon of the hater brigade for this one.

Graphically, I guess it's okay, but the controls, even the expert controls, are much easier to work around. There is that going for it. It's simple HUD is exactly that, simple. Expert controls should be a blast even for beginners with this one. The one thing I distinctly do not like about this one is

The one thing I distinctly do not like about this one is the awareness alarm. At regular intervals, having to press a certain combination of keys to tell the computer you are still there, still know what's going on and still paying attention to the signals, the speed and the conditions the train is being controlled in is nothing short of immensely annoying. Yes, you can turn this off, but no, it's not immediately obvious when you HAVE turned it off. It's very limited in content, you just get a bare bones set-up, couple of trains, couple of tracks, a heap of scenarios for each of the tracks, which doesn't really add to the variety for me. It got a hefty slating on Steam for not being as good as the predecessors and despite having the delightful Sean Bean of Sharpe's fame (don't tell me he's always going to be more popular for GoT it just won't fly with me) doing the narrating for the intro video, it doesn't really do anything significant to improve the experience.

It's a half decent attempt, but it's lack of content out of the box makes it as contemptible as the ultimate insult of Sims 4. All told, it is quite like Sims 4 in that you would need to buy a sizeable chunk of content to make it worth getting in the first place, and that's just a bit more than annoying.

I think 5 out of 10 is lenient on this one.

The missus says "It's borked, the end."

Maybe I should just leave this **** to her instead.

[RUS] Я не знаю чем вам эта игра насолила, но по мне средне. 7 ставлю из-за того, что она продавалась по цене в 0,98$, но когда я активировал то вышла игра за 17,43$. Ну как вам. Саму игру я не оценил пока.

This game is really fun and it gives the feeling that the player is learning about how trains, both old and new, work. This gives you the satisfaction that actions do have consequences even with the smallest action. The game is a good buy for players who like to take their time and don’t like to rush their way through things. The pricing value of the DLC doesn’t seem that great becauseThis game is really fun and it gives the feeling that the player is learning about how trains, both old and new, work. The game is a good buy for players who like to take their time and don’t like to rush their way through things. The pricing value of the DLC doesn’t seem that great because it’s just different countries and different train brands. The basic game alone is enough as there is replayability in trying to beat different scores, not only personal, but global as well. In conclusion this game is good and fun for mild amusement to work the brain. Train lovers would love this game and others might find it a fun game to play. Expand

Нормальная игра. Получше б оптимизацию под слабые компьютеры и побольше бы бесплатных сценариев. Грустно, но что бы полноценно насладиться в эту игру, придется заплатить приличную сумму.

A simulator built with an excellent accessibility and all the trappings, ready to offer realism and rewarding challenges to all those fans who will be willing to spend a fortune to buy the infinite plethora of DLCs that represents the only barrier to thousands of miles of fun.

The new routes provide a wide range of challenges and the new trains, particularly the ICE T, will please many train fans. Load times are long, so if you have a SSD install it on there.

Train Simulator 2015 was an interesting experience. It reignited a childhood spark for a brief amount of time, as well as brought into context that while the life on the rails is simple in movement it is not simply pushing the throttle forward and waiting.
