    No cars to choose from. It's just building your own tracks and enjoying the endless speed. Free to play. My favourite thing is that the entire single player challenges are all just time trials. There's 4 buttons: Left, Right, Up, Down. No handbrake, no nitrous, no gears. Just pure speed. Really fun and arcadey. Plus there's regional, national and worldwide leaderboards.

    Even though Nations is the free version of the game, it's still very good. You can customize your name and download car skins. There's a worldwide multiplayer that is very fun. It takes a bit to adjust to be able to drive in this game professionally. There is also a single player if you don't have internet or want to be alone.     You drive your car around the track and try to get the best time you can. Very simple, no frills. The game didn't do anything to amaze me and it didn't do anything that annoyed me. This is the kind of game you can just zone out and play for a while while you listen to a podcast or audiobook.

    This game reminds me of those old musty smelly arcades in long forgotten seaside towns where local oaps and jobless spend their last few pennies on sticky slot machines. Plus there's so many bots setting times so out of reach its laughable. Also why when all it takes it to press a button and go down a straight track from the start do I see many of the regular fast people pulling away? these same people always seem to magically appear on the top of the listings too. Hmm something to think about. Lastly people saying this is a racing game have no clue at all, its as much a racing game as Sonic the Hedgehog was...… Expand

    Its has (again) stunning graphics and a very smooth gameplay. Now with a lot of new elements, like offroad tracks ... and the huge community its the best freeware racers out there and probably one of the best in general !

    Who makes a game for the computer where you can't configure it to use it for your god damned keyboard? the sensitivity was about 9 thousand for the arrow keys and i couldn't even fucking drive. f*ck you game, your a piece of shit that needs to be burned off the face of the earth.

    Excellent racing game, great multi player action. Rock solid software, very good graphics. A game no race can miss, and being freeware is hard to say no.

    What nations did best was the online community making new tracks, but they were limited by the pieces they wanted to use. With so much more in the track editor, I can't wait to see what they'll come up with!

    I like the game because it has detailed statistics over your profile and because you're able to make your own maps, a simple ladder system with world rank and national rank and because it's a free game.

    This game has some of the best physics and graphics in a racing game ever.Yes,its not like need for speed series with good single player etc but its multi-player aspect is what gives the game its unique flava :D !!     I'm not a big fan of racing games until now..the game is free and just so much fun, especially multiplayer online. It takes me back to the original Wipeout on Playstation and reminds me of the insane tracks of Stunt Car Racer on Amiga but it's all up to date for 2008. For perfection in your driving, get an analog controller.

    This game is free. Why are there bad reviews? If you thought it sucked, one, you're wrong, and two, it's not like you spent any money on it! But in all seriousness, there is more fun in this game where you race time trials against ghosts than in a lot of real racing games. Add that to the out-of-this-world track editor, and you've got hours of fun for no cost whatsoever.

    This game would be a six if I had to pay to play it (graphics are not that good and there's no Steam Cloud support) but for free? It's fun, there are many tracks, challenges are well-balanced... suddenly a solid eight.

You could design your own insane tracks, play some of the creators tracks in singleplayer, and you could go online to play with other people. And new stuff just kept comming.     After approximately 30 hours of insanity i decided to buy United. The experience only got even better, and this day today it's my third most played game with 500 ingame hours. Damn nice job Nadeo, and thanks to Ubisoft for publishing this game!

    Even though this is sort of a demo for the full version. It dosn't lock all the stuff. You get everything for the stadium tracks and it gives you a good ammount of the game. About 1/6! Its a fun skill based racing game! And its track costumisation!

    The game gets old in a good way. The graphics are good, the mechanics are the same from Trackmania ESWC to this day. This fast-paced races are amazing, and the community is huuuge.
    The game is an ideal example of Easy To Learn, Hard To Master.

    I installed the game on Steam. It said it wants to do a peer to peer test and it got stuck on a white screen with some boxes appearing in some places if I hover the mouse over them. Nothing happened so I googled how to fix it. Had to change the ini file for that. Didn't work. Then I tried the update button on the launcher and there was an update that fixed it. Amazing.     Simple time trial racing game. This game does not strive for complexity or realism, but if you want a racing game you can just jump right in and start playing, this is great. The level designs are generally pretty good and it is actually very challenging to complete the entire game (some of the later levels feature crazy tracks). One of the best free to play games out there.

    Although this is a [insert years ago phrase here] it's still a fun time as this was my first Trackmania game and I adore the time trials gameplay and it's fast paced, it's sad how an amazing game get's slipped under the radar and hey it works on Windows 10 like a charm

    A genuinely fun arcade racing game. It does occasionally bug out, but for me, it's really uncommon, so it doesn't take much away from the experience. Overall, fun, well-handling arcade racing game.

    Trackmania Nations Forever is such a blast to play. Players can create their own tracks, share them online, and compete against each other for the fastest times. It's hard not to say no to a game like this since its free.

    This game, despite being free, feels like a paid game. The graphics are nice and not too heavy on your computer (As my potato can run it) and is loads of fun for speedrunners and track builders. You can use your creativity for both making and driving tracks, as there is always a shortcut to be found.
