Total Extreme Warfare perfectly captures the world of professional wrestling, and does a fantastic job of drawing the gamer into it. The ability to completely customize a promotion, plan storylines and develop plots has never been executed even remotely as well in a wrestling game, and those gamers who are even casual wrestling fans would do well to pick up this title NOW!
-
The best business side wrestling simulator Ive ever experienced. Unfortunately, the games greatest strength, its depth, is also its biggest weakness. Its a long road to finally understand and control it, but once you do, so many doors and avenues are open to you.
-
netjakThe game is a bit convoluted at times and it takes a bit of patience to figure everything out, but once you do, the game really picks up. I know it is not a title for everyone, but for anyone who ever had dreams of running a big wrestling show, this is for you.
-
It's a successful look at the sweaty soap opera that is pro wrestling, although a few interface issues and complex mechanics make it a little unfriendly to wrestling newbies.
-
Computer Games MagazineThe game is shockingly deep; in fact, it rivals the sheer volume of "stuff" found in most sports text games. [Aug 2004, p.71]
-
While the challenge of the game is strong and the replay is huge, the ability to draw in a non-wrestling gamer is not here. This game is only for the hardcore wrestling fans.
