    I bought the game already imagining that it would not be the most amazing game ever launched or the GOTY. More than an Indie game, the producer, Swordtales, comes from Brazil, a place where game making is on the first steps to maturity.

    After playing the game for about 2 hours, I can say somethings about it. The gameplay is rather short (1h20-2h is all you need to finish the game) and    I bought the game already imagining that it would not be the most amazing game ever launched or the GOTY. More than an Indie game, the producer, Swordtales, comes from Brazil, a place where game making is on the first steps to maturity.

    After playing the game for about 2 hours, I can say somethings about it. The gameplay is rather short (1h20-2h is all you need to finish the game) and it's rather clunck and lack some variety. But the ambience and the music are amazing. The graphics, although not next gen are very good and they integrate very well with the music and settings. The story is beautiful, altough I think it need more space and development.

    What I want to say is that the game needed and should be longer, so the gameplay and the story could develop better. Because of the short gameplay time the story is sometimes confusing what makes you want more information (for better understanding and to know the story better).

    There are also some little bugs and glitches here and there (mostly visual) but nothing that would block your gameplay

    Game is short, story could be more clear, graphic/animation could be better. Abyss level was totally awful.
    Definitely not "10/10", but still game is pretty decent for indie. People who enjoy Dear Esther and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter probably could try it.

    This game is small, has it's problems gameplay wise, including the combat being basically nonexistent and the puzzle mechanics easily solvable by a 6 year old. Has a few bugs, a few textures look bad and the facial expressions are a mess.
    BUT if you can ignore all that, what you are presented with is an amazing artistic drive with colourful sights, charming animals, sunlight looking    This game is small, has it's problems gameplay wise, including the combat being basically nonexistent and the puzzle mechanics easily solvable by a 6 year old. Has a few bugs, a few textures look bad and the facial expressions are a mess.
    BUT if you can ignore all that, what you are presented with is an amazing artistic drive with colourful sights, charming animals, sunlight looking through the cracks of the mighty tower you are trying to climb while listening to an amazing orchestra soundtrack with stunning timing to make it all a spiritual journey I'd never thought I would be faced with in this game.

    Also loved the metaphors and philosophical focus that leaves us room to make our own understanding of the story behind Toren.

    All in all, the game should've been cheaper but I still recommend you to try this 2-4h gameplay.    … Expand

    Because it's such a small game, there isn't all that much to it; it's not a game with something for everyone. Still, even if you're interested, remember that the game is only two hours long, even though it's a very focused two hours, some people may feel they have overpaid for the amount of content they are given.

    This fairytale about the human journey to freedom is totally unfinished. It’s filled with technical issues and the gamplay is so terrible that even its great storyline can’t help the game at all.
