    Щойно почав грати, награв десь 5-6 годин
    В цілому гра норм, але не для дорослихсерйозних гравців, тому що в порівнянні з іншими іграми в цьому жанрі недотягує.
    Є великі проблеми з таргетінгом на дальній дистанції, локалізацією, графікою, голд менеджментом і юзер експіріенсом на плейстейшен (очевидно гру робили для компів) Тому, зважаючи на ціну пограти можна, але очікувати чогось    Щойно почав грати, награв десь 5-6 годин
    В цілому гра норм, але не для дорослихсерйозних гравців, тому що в порівнянні з іншими іграми в цьому жанрі недотягує.

    Die Charaktere sind wenig ansprechend, die Spawn´s sind doof gesetzt, die Mission ist erledigt, du travelst zurück um die abzugeben, dann darfst du nochmal über die gesamte Map latschen, obwohl 20 Meter weiter ein Portal gewesen wäre, das könnte gerne mal 20 Meter vor Missionsabschluss kommen, zudem muss man die Map auch jedes Mal erneut aufdecken.     Locations. There are 3 acts in the game. Like in magority of others diablo 2 clones. Yes locations in different acts are different. But not exactly different. All locations are just big rooms drawn in different style. Nothing unique there. Also there are some amount of dungeons. And dungeons are exactly the same in each act. And the same means that locations copypasted.

    Enemies.
    There are poor varity of enemies. For sure every separate act has it's own unique enemy type based on region. Forest has goblos. Swamps has maggots. Mountains has constructs and vertues. But the most commot enemy type in the game is goblin. Yes for the whole game you will kill the same goblins as you killed on level 1. Wow.

    Characters.
    I played only mage. So i can talk only about this class. And i can't say nothing special. There are small amount of class skills. Is it bad? I don't know. Games should be different and not every person like PoE/Wolcen like skills leveling systems. So i ok with Tochlight 3 system. Only one bad thing here. Spell damage depends only on weapon damage. So if you want your spells beat harder take a bigger sword. Now you are happy mage with a sword. Great design.

    Problems.
    Fort is a number one problem in the game. In action rpg game i difenetly don't want to return to my base every 20 minutes to craft, build or do any other activity. I want to play the game.

    Items and item's drops. There is something wrong with legendary items drop rate. Legendary items everywhere. But no varity of legandary items. I found only 3 different sets, but found them multiple times, and every new item just renew stats of previous one.

    Geometry. I played mage and my primary damage spell was a beam of light(can't remember an original title), and i found that on certain angles between me and enemy my spell doesn't make any damage and on other angles it melt enemies.

    There are a lot of small issues and graphics issues but who cares.

    No trade with friends, no move without attack.. (except on still pressing another key). On dangerous situation if i try to run and a mob under my mouse, my char will auto attack him...

    There are a lot of small game design issues (like the fort, the linear world, skill progression and build customisation, fast travel, map resets, lack of story), and still some minor bugs (optimisation, pet is disappearing, levels dont render, enemies get stuck, you get stuck)...

    ...but it's still fun!     One playthrough takes around 20h, so you really can't complain about cost per gametime. There is no evolution to TL2, but I guess if you liked the predecessor, you may like this game too (if not for the fishing).

    It's a shame the game is now abandoned and there is no modding support.    … Expand

    It is a "OK" game. Very repetitive and the tree skills it is absolutely bad. Torchlight III it is the worst game of the trilogy.

TL2 gave me Fortnite and free-to-play vibes, which TL3 only emphasises, missing an opportunity to carve a more original and unique look.     The gameplay of TL3 makes some very strange changes, removing a skill tree format that suits ARPGs really well. The concept of the contracts also felt very free-to-play. This is quite disappointing as my mage character was quite bland rather than a specialist in the elements or summoning etc.

    Having a fort to build and customise is a nice touch, but mostly useless and irrelevant other than boosting my luck and stashing gear.

    Even on lower difficulties enemies appear to be bullet-sponges, making some of the boss fights a test of endurance rather than skill.

    The story of TL3 feels borderline non-existent and incoherent. TL2 had me pursuing an alchemist, which was vague but at least tangible, whilst TL3 seemed to just keep telling me to proceed to the next linear goal.

    TL2 was a breath of fresh air from the stale Diablo formula, but TL3 represents the tiredness of the genre and the cynicism in modern games slipping into live-services, so I won't be surprised if TL next takes the step into a full-blown mobile game the way they attempted to do with Diablo.     This is a massive fail the first game is better than this game. Everything you loved about the first game is not in this game. There's less complexity less tactics to choose that talent to choose all the characters you can choose from a ugly looking weirdos and the game just boring.

    I like Torchlight II and Torchlight III a lot, but both for different reasons.

    What I like about Torchlight III: The Relics system brings the concept of classes and sub-classes into the Torchlight universe, and that’s a huge deal. Many of the character abilities have connections to Relic abilities. If you look through the abilities to see how they can connect to each other, you can set    I like Torchlight II and Torchlight III a lot, but both for different reasons.

    What I like about Torchlight III: The Relics system brings the concept of classes and sub-classes into the Torchlight universe, and that’s a huge deal. Many of the character abilities have connections to Relic abilities. If you look through the abilities to see how they can connect to each other, you can set yourself up to create a domino effect that dramatically increases your damage output, and that feels very satisfying. Even more fun: The legendary gear often ties directly into your class or your Relic abilities, which means the gear perks can be so powerful, they might make you temporarily change your combat tactics! This does mean, though, that you must ACTUALLY READ the in-game text in order to unlock the full potential this game offers you.

    What I miss about Torchlight II: This game doesn’t have the same sense of exploration as its predecessor. Its world design feels more on-rails, for the most part. The action can become repetitive, but thankfully, switching character classes helps you shift gears to different combat tactics.

    This game probably isn’t for every ARPG fan, but it definitely deserves better reviews than it’s gotten! I strongly recommend it to players who want something that has the top-down hack slash and loot action of Diablo, with a light-hearted atmosphere akin to Borderlands.    … Expand

Their all-time peak concurrent players was a meager 5,692. There are still more players playing TL2 than 3. Maybe mod support will save this game, but the developer already has been bought and assigned to another game. I expect themTL3 is a buggy mess, even 6 months after release.     Despite    In 2020 many are looking for a pleasant distraction to get them through the onslaught of meme-worthy events that seem to have no end. An ARPG is a perfect fit and Torchlight III appeared at a great time. Unfortunately, this is a poorly slapped together, incomplete game that still suffers from many issues that were present back in June 2020 when this game hit early access.

    Despite continued patching efforts over the last 4 months, lag and disconnects are still present during multiplayer. Skills that once worked are now broken due to patching. Basic things like damage over time do not work correctly in some cases.

    Then there is the endgame loop, which comes in the flavors of Contracts, Forts, and Frazeer’s Dun’Djinn. This sounds like a lot, however, Contracts simply level up and unlock various rewards by playing the game like normal. There isn’t anything you’re actively doing. The passive event that it is makes it bland even when getting a great reward you’ve been looking forward to. I thoroughly enjoy building and designing in-game and Forts would seem like the perfect distraction that would elevate this game, but sadly, it doesn’t. Like many aspects of Torchlight III, it feels like an afterthought or more like a remnant of an idea that was left in because is was “neat”.

    The Dun’Djinn is a 251-floor challenge dungeon that is essentially Mapworks from previous games but with a twist. You can pick modifiers that can make the level you’re about to enter more difficult. The levels and bosses are from the campaign and the loot drop chance is tuned (currently) lower than in the campaign, which is simply poor design. On top of that, there is literally no reward system for completing any part of Dun’Djinn, and for me, simply having bragging rights is not enough.

    I joined Early Access on day 1 and joined the Discord community immediately. It was refreshing to see the devs working so hard on the game and seemingly listening to what the community was saying. The devs did make some good changes, but as I said earlier, every patch would break things that were working and since it was early access, that was largely OK. But then they rushed to release, ham fisting a broken game into 1.0 status without the stability you’d expect from a game with the name Torchlight. Single-player has suffered from losing characters and character progress.

    The devs are largely absent now only to occasionally pop in to say “something great is coming” but I just don’t believe them anymore. I had hope for this game, and it may turn out good as time goes on. Right now, this is still playing like an early access game that is broken and lacks the endgame loop that is needed to keep an ARPG floating.    … Expand

    I just beat it and unfortunately, this game is just not very good. It gives you a warning before letting you sell legendary items, and at first I was carefully putting these in my stash for future playthroughs, but then I was like "yeah I'm never touching this again once I beat it".

    The graphics are not that good. Perhaps the fidelity is technically higher than Torchlight II or Path of Exile, but they just never really grabbed me and made me feel immersed in the game world. They felt repetitive and cheaply made.

    The gameplay is incredibly repetitive. You go to a big open area, from which there are a few instance dungeons that quests have you go in and kill the mini-boss, or collect some thingies, or both. All the bosses are very similar feeling and fairly easy, even on hard difficulty. The combat heavily favors projectile attacks, which suited my build fine, but it does seem rather unbalanced. The classes do seem pretty fresh and interesting, that was the one bright spot.

    The game seems to lose your progress in unpredictable ways when you exit the large open area to do an instance dungeon. I also managed to glitch through the floor once, which I don't think I've ever had happen to me in this style of fixed perspective ARPG.

    The story was okay but the voice acting was uneven. The loot system seemed a simplified departure of Torchlight 2, and this was a franchise where the loot was half the fun.

    I beat the game and it was okay, it's not an unplayable disaster, but it's mediocre at best.    … Expand

    1) Horrible endgame, with unrewarding challenges. 2) Many bugged dungeons so that you can't complete quests or that the boss don't spawn in the boss room. 3) Very long loading times for a game like this on a SSD.     5) Waaay to little loot such as legendaries (1 set per class), you will see the same stuff drop tons of times from level1 to 60 (don't get better at 60 either).

    This game would have been better on mobile, it's the mixed trash bag that you are used too on that platform. I did enjoy TL and TL2 but they were always shallow and very casual. TL3 is harder, i assume it's a combination of poor hit detection and network issues. Never thought i would say this but Wolcen is good compared to this :D.

    So what if they gonna fix everything, well it will still be pretty lackluster. They have to rebuild it and that will never happen, the lack of content such as mobs, bosses, loot is breathtaking from a game like this. I really hope this is the last arpg they gonna make, because it's not getting better even after 3 games... it's like why do they even keep trying?    … Expand

    This game has zero depth. The characters are goofy. They are so goofy I as a player cannot bond with them. Their movement just hurts to look at.     Game looking amazing after the previous game but just that. The game is incredible easy even on top difficulties. The skills take less than 20 seconds to use them again and again and again. You quickly become powerfull sa you continue playing the game. The bosses are boring, slow. Almost all of them attack from close range There aren't cool memorables boss battles like TL2 did. I'mGame looking amazing after the previous game but just that. The game is incredible easy even on top difficulties. The skills take less than 20 seconds to use them again and again and again. You quickly become powerfull sa you continue playing the game. The bosses are boring, slow. Almost all of them attack from close range There aren't cool memorables boss battles like TL2 did.     Torchlight III makes no attempt at all to introduce anything new to the genre and this lack of originality is disappointing after 8 years of waiting. It’s quite easy to point out a couple of other flaws (e.g. the shallow story), but I chose not to dwell on them, because the game delivered exactly what I expected from it – around 20 hours of enjoyable hacking and slashing that doesn’t engage the mind too much.     Torchlight III is fine but only if you don't have too many expectations. Ignoring the many elements of the old free-to-play formula that still remain, the game is relatively unchanged from the first and second entries, which can disappoint those looking for improvements. It's a simpler action/RPG, and it's good for those who might want to get their feet wet with the genre but don't want to do so with an older game. Genre veterans, on the other hand, might not be too impressed with what they see.

    If you’re just here for the gameplay, then you’ll get a lot out of Torchlight III. But the balance is askew if you’re wanting a substantial story and cast to support the wending journey from point A to B with no deviations in between. Perhaps future updates will refine the weaker points in the game, but at the moment, Torchlight III is far from the definitive entry in the series.
