    Even though this game was released in 2013 it's still really beautiful! First game of a nice franchise and this one especially is a really solid game with a nice story, gameplay and graphics.

    Yani oyun bir çok yanıyla iyi sistemleri fazla zorlamıyor ve serinin benim için en iyi oyunu yani herkesin oynaması gerek oldukça iyi bir oyun (zevk almak istiyosanız zorda oynayın) ancak animasyonları 3 oyun içinde okşar iyi değil özellikle karakterin yüzü ve olaylara verdiği duygusal tepki 3 oyun dada kotü umarım 4. Oyunda bu sorun giderilir

    Tomb Raider is a good game overall. It has a remarkable origin story with good visuals, intense action, and great combat mechanics that makes the game really fun to play.

    The game some good moments but the narrative does not make sense, it is not logical in their world. Lara is invincible after all those fall moments still moving and killing. It was like I was wasting my time playing iy. Boring as hell.

    This was the very first TR game I played and even though I did so 10 years after release and on ps3, I still had an awesome experience with it.

    It takes inspiration from the Uncharted series but it is not a bad thing because Uncharted is awesome.

    The QTE's seriously bore me after 25 hours, the combat is laborious and the fighting sequences are lazily thrown together, Lara Croft isn't f******* Terminator, why am i fighting 100 people at once? Let me be stealthy, such a frustrating game.

    so i first played this game when I was like 14. After the first few minutes, the music and game scared the **** out of me so bad i sold it at a game store and never looked back to play it again, until now. damn, am I glad i picked it up again. i saw it was on sale for like 3 pounds on Steam which is worth it since it took me like 8 hours to complete. the game content is pretty juicy withso i first played this game when I was like 14. After the first few minutes, the music and game scared the **** out of me so bad i sold it at a game store and never looked back to play it again, until now. damn, am I glad i picked it up again. i saw it was on sale for like 3 pounds on Steam which is worth it since it took me like 8 hours to complete. the game content is pretty juicy with some cool mechanics and ideas that work pretty well together. the story is good and interesting enough and it's complemented with some good characters. i thought the environments were really good, the mountain village, the shanty town, and the mountain base were so cool. the gameplay was solid all around! the mobility stuff was really well done with all the tools like the climbing axe and the rope arrows. I think the only thing I didn't like as much was the gunplay. it didn't feel good to me to shoot any of the guns IMO However the bow and arrow were solid. most of the cinematic moments were so cool and awesome but some of them kinda lose their magic when you keep dying to some **** because u missed a qte. the puzzles were great as well. this game had so many cool mechanics and tools. this is a very pog game :33 8/10… Expand

    This is a fascinating Tomb Raider origin story, even though I was never really interested in these games, I now consider myself a fan of the Tomb Raider franchise.
    The gameplay is very good, many tools to use and weaponry to unlock, combat is fast and fluid, climbing is fun and the puzzles are decent. The Tombs are cool for the most part but    A dark and brutal tale of a lone survivor.

    The Tombs are cool for the most part but unfortunately there aren't many of them. However, there are some open world elements, you can explore the island for secrets and collectibles, which I enjoyed.

    Now the plot, it's just mediocre. It has some fantastic action-oriented moments, but for most of the time I didn't find myself attached to the story or the characters, and I didn't like the main villain.

    Also there are way too many Quick Time Events, and combined with the linear main story, there's no replay-ability, some sections are straight up exhausting to go through.

    Lara Croft carries this game, she is a great female protagonist and goes though some messed up things, and she's easily the highlight of the game.

    Final Rating: "Good" ~ 7/10.    … Expand

    Z serią o Larze mam same dobre wspomnienia, szczególnie jeśli chodzi o reboot serii. Pierwsza część odnowionego Tomb Raidera spodobała mi się bez najmniejszych problemów. Postać Lary natychmiastowo przykuła moją uwagę. To jaką ta dziewczyna ma determinację w odnajdywaniu tych artefaktów, jest czymś nie do opisania. Samozaparcie oraz dążenie do swoich marzeń mimo utraty rodziców jestZ serią o Larze mam same dobre wspomnienia, szczególnie jeśli chodzi o reboot serii. Pierwsza część odnowionego Tomb Raidera spodobała mi się bez najmniejszych problemów. Postać Lary natychmiastowo przykuła moją uwagę. People love the hurricane action in Tomb Raider, but guess what? 8 hours of explosions everywhere, climbing everywhere, long cutscenes with a poor cliche predictable story (+point to the game for brutal elements). I'd say there is too much action that its tiring. Also the action is not convincing because of a repeating tricksIts a decent shooter, dot. The advantages of the game end here. She doesn't have self-awareness of what she's gone through and doesn't give a sh**, then goes on an every mission alone, getting cracks, bites, beartraps, all types of injuries, and goes on, while any other character gets injury and can't go on, sending you further. The atmosphere is nothing special, cursed island, bad weather all the time, wild insane people attacking everyone, its getting boring after an hour but it lasts the whole game. Appreciate the 3d platformer mechanics - its always pleasing to be able climbe everywhere you want. Bad thing that there is no "run" button in the game and no endurance upgrades. Upgrades are kinda lame too and there's not a lot. About weapons: not enough riffle ammo always, a lot of shotgun ammo, but shotgun sucks - pistol better.… Expand

    An amazing adventure game. The Japanese setting is amazing and the collectibles add more depth to the game. The story was good and the gameplay was fun. Collecting artifacts and documents was easily my favorite part of the game.

First of all, the world is very immersive, with the events we experience and the lore we find building an intriguing picture of the situation on the island we find ourselves in, and the events that led up to it. Character design was decent, as was voice acting, but unfortunately the dialogue writing was pretty uninspired, though luckily not terrible. The world is also designed very well - both realistic and aesthetically pleasing, with terrain variety reminescent of CoD 4. Traversing it is generally very pleasant, although climbing routes are way too obvious for my taste, with white paint marking almost anything you can use on your way.

    The progression throughout the game was quite satisfying, both in terms of the available movement mechanics and in terms of combat. The available weapons and the encountered enemies both got gradually more and more advanced, in what seemed like a natural way. Combat in general is quite satisfying as well, although sadly, is way too easy. Even at the highest (3rd) difficulty level, it's trivial to headshot everyone with a bow most of the time, and it's very difficult to get killed (unless you're grinding an achievement which requires you to tackle an enemy with a rifle...). Although it's not much of a challenge, it's still quite fun, and an optimal amount of hidden locations and collectibles makes the world even more enjoyable to explore.

    Overall, Tomb Raider is a solid adventure game in every aspect, and a modern benchmark for the genre.    … Expand

    No doubt the game has done an impressive job of rebooting the series. And it's a great survival game - with extremely fun to play elements and an immersing story. Only issue here is that the story narration doesn't match the actions of Lara Croft. While she's a stone-cold killer on a rampage to mercilessly kill everyone in the island, she's acting as if she's a morale person.

    I've played this game several times for two things - I like Tomb Raider and ... I never get to the end of the game untill 2022. So, I want to higlight in this essay why I like and hate this game.

    Visual (6/10)
    Picture was great fo 2013, nowadays it seems a bit plain, but still good. Why 6 than ? A LOT OF BUGS. I've experienced different bugs in each walkthrough, even now in 2022 they have not fixed major bugs in tombs. It's a game about tomb raider c'mon why you tombs are not working, why hitboxes are so broken and most annoying - strange camera shakes in cut scenes. I honestly checked different settings like vsync and still get this shakes. I get them in 2013, so they are in 2022. Maybe it's only on PC version only, but that was the main point why I've finished this game only now. Music is pretty average, I don't even know what to say. It's just exists somewhere on background. Lara's voice acting is good. Inetrface is a bit archaic as for 2022 and simplifyed, on the other hand it's just a linear single player game - only thing you need - just play.

    This is the singleplayer linear game with main story only - tha main game play is just run through levels. I like the idea to load levels while you climbing through the hole in a cave and than see new location that's good, but atfer the mid game - only thing you do is backtracking. In linear game... It was awfull, another thing why I haven't finished it first time. I've lost the whole tomb raider atmosphere when Lara starts to do every deal for the team in the same location. You have new equpment, so it's supposed that you would like to go back and test it.... but for what? another scrap bag? I don't think so, espesially if you kill all enemies each time and loot them for this scrap. Tombs are interesting, but so tiny and only few of them well designed. Not very interesting. I really like first few hours of the game, and in fact it's really the most entertaining part

    Story (7/10)
    I like the story, it's a mix of mysterios island and asian culture it's intriguing, but at the end it feels a bit decent ending, also they missed so many interesting things they can do with oni guards and make them just an ordinary enemies. Characters - decent, just here to be rescued by Lara and a bit involve on her development like a character. On the other hand Lara in this game is very interesting, she really changes till the end, get some iconic moments and ending prase - survivior was born feels like best ending for intro part of Tomb Raider new franchize. I like that developers understand they need to prepare good dramatic story for action adventures, so they can sucessfully compete with uncharted and last of us franchize.

    All in all, I like the game, and espesially the fact they release PC version in 2013 so everyone can enjoy the game, I like the rebranding of **** cause developers chose right way, but in other aspects it is a decent game with bugs and backtracking in the end. After completion the game I fully understand myself in 2013 and why I have not finished it, so it's up to you - play or not.     Recently I started playing the new edition of Tomb Raider from 2013, and I need to say that it felt much better than it did when I experienced it for the first time in 2014 on my old PC, that I was sharing with my brother. Back then I didn’t finish the game, but a few days ago I was bored and wanted to play some nostalgic video games. I was looking through my games on Epic games (Of courseRecently I started playing the new edition of Tomb Raider from 2013, and I need to say that it felt much better than it did when I experienced it for the first time in 2014 on my old PC, that I was sharing with my brother. Back then I didn’t finish the game, but a few days ago I was bored and wanted to play some nostalgic video games. I was looking through my games on Epic games (Of course I did not pay for any of those games, it was free). Then I found Tomb Raider and my first thought was “Naah I don’t want to play these boring Lara Croft games” I didn’t like it a few years ago so why should I play it now, I asked myself. I played this game for 4 straight hours that day. And now, after finishing it, I want to share my opinion with you guys.

    Masterpiece. Back in the day, the Tomb Raider games did not catch my attention. I was playing other video games as a kid, but I always knew about this saga.

    When the Tomb Raider Reboot came out in 2013, I was stunned. Loved this new realistic Lara, the fact that they drop the dumb dual welding pistols, and she now grabbed the gun like a pro, was it for me. Her body and clothing are more    Masterpiece. Back in the day, the Tomb Raider games did not catch my attention. I was playing other video games as a kid, but I always knew about this saga.

    When the Tomb Raider Reboot came out in 2013, I was stunned. Loved this new realistic Lara, the fact that they drop the dumb dual welding pistols, and she now grabbed the gun like a pro, was it for me. Her body and clothing are more believable now for a female adventurer, I never really get mixing sex and video games, but that formula clearly worked for quite some time. This new Lara is fantastic, you get attached to her walking her journey. This 1st entry is all about "a survivor is born" so is a painful journey filled with hardships and difficult emotional moments. But in the end, we see the Tomb Raider emerge from that.

    The original PC version released in 2013 is way better that the console definitive edition they released years later. Since the game was released, I completed it several times, and it's always been an exciting adventure to get into Lara's shoes. Love the stealth gameplay, the enemy pre-combat dialogs, the enemy AI is great, and the weapons! Total masterpiece and a great franchise reboot.    … Expand

After I bought Tomb Raider on a steam sale, it gained me my taste in videogames when I was in elementary school. So it's a kinda special game for me.

    Tomb Raider has a lot of flaws with its story and narrative.Narrative has a general unconsistency, and story starts like a action-survival game in which you're gonna have limited ammo, feel more unsafe, and need to go under the radar of the enemies. But after finding your first pistol, you can kill every enemy without hesitation. And characters are also not memorable at all. But eveything except story, narrative and characters are greatly well-done. Controls, atmosphere, graphics, -for 2013- satisfying gameplay etc. Tomb Raider could've been one of my favourite games of all time if the story, narrative and characters were memorable enough.    … Expand

    TL;DR This is a joyless prequel/reboot of a great franchise, with a weaker version of titular main character.

    Whereas the gameplay itself is fun, the story takes itself far too seriously. It is a less fun and less inspired than that of the OG Tomb Raider series. For one Lara neither looks, nor acts like classic Lara. OG Lara killed few people even if they had her ones dead to rights often opting to knock them out and leave them while she continued her investigation of the artifacts at hand. This Lara is killing people left and right and when she isn't she is being brutally killed as if several members of the dev team had snuff and gore fetishes. OG Lara killed dinosaurs, zombie centaurs and mummies in the first one. It had this sense of fun and goofy adventure to it while the visuals in Anniversary provided interesting designs and an interesting story about a grand supernatural mystery.

    Going more into Lara herself, OG was a badass, took no ♥♥♥♥ and kept a cool head that showing that she was in charge of the situation even when giant monsters are involved. There is danger for her however she is competent and capable, but is still fun often being flirty in certain situations when appropriate. When someone does die, be it an innocent caught in the cross fire or someone trying to kill her she treats it with the weight it deserves. She is what people should think of when they talk about a strong female character. New Lara is so weak willed and acts so different at times often like a sociopath throughout the reboot series. At the beginning of the third one she starts the apocalypse and kills countless civilians and is joking with a friend the next day showing the series has an inconsistent tone throughout. At times it looks like she is about to cry or off herself to get out of the situation at hand. She is all over the place.    … Expand

Очевидно, больше приключений, древних гробниц, загадок и море кадров с мокрой Ларой Крофт. Тут и постановка голливудская подъехала (скорее, с оглядкой на Uncharted) и история улучшилась став более комплексной и интересной (например,Удачный пример "мягкого" перезапуска франшизы с хорошими вытекающими. В случае с Tomb Raider разрабам трудно было прогадать в вопросе "чего же хотят игроки?". Очевидно, больше приключений, древних гробниц, загадок и море кадров с мокрой Ларой Крофт. Тут и постановка голливудская подъехала (скорее, с оглядкой на Uncharted) и история улучшилась став более комплексной и интересной (например, при помощи фактов и записок подается лор острова на котором происходят события).     a high quality game, until today I don't know how they managed to leave this game with only 10 gigs and it is full of special effects, beautiful graphics, simple and good gameplay. I did 100% From the game about 5 times. 90% of the game and only THE SUFFERING PROTAGONIST (≧▽≦)

    This genre is typically just not for me. I was in the mood for a game where I could solve a couple puzzles and shoot a couple bad guys and this game gave me that in a nice 10 hour package. I would say it was average in every way, it was a worthwhile experience, but not one I will likely ever return to.

    This game features an exotic Pacific island setting for you to explore, presented with incredible graphics and great attention to detail. Traversing the island by jumping and climbing is fun, solving optional hidden tombs is satisfying, and the controls are excellent. Unfortunately, the combat against human goons and wild animals is a bit too easy and simplistic.     I was kind of skeptical of Tomb Raider because I usually don't like what most people recommend and since it is a very popular game I was afraid I wouldn't even get to the middle of it. But I actually felt good playing it. I had some things I didn't like and I'll list everything below.

    Graphics: since I wanted to play Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider to    I was kind of skeptical of Tomb Raider because I usually don't like what most people recommend and since it is a very popular game I was afraid I wouldn't even get to the middle of it. But I actually felt good playing it. I had some things I didn't like and I'll list everything below.

    Graphics: since I wanted to play Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider to get the whole story, I expected not so good graphics on the first one. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that on maximum settings it really looked good for a 2013 game and what I really liked was the camera shots that dynamically change the angle depending on the scene. It's not everywhere, but there is a particular type of scene that you'll find often that really improves the atmosphere.

    Story: The story is good, I like that it's not directly the "Find the bad guys and kill them" storyline, but you actually change the goal of the game by finding out more about the reason you're stuck there. This is not a spoiler but a warning that I hope I had before playing the game: the menu percentage of the story is actually of the whole map including tombs and other stuff to explore, so when I finished the story with around 70% completion I was surprised to find out about that. So just keep in mind, the story should end when you feel like you're approaching the end, not when the percentage is high.

    Gameplay: I liked the gameplay. The weapon system is the usual "get a new weapon every x levels and upgrade it", but I didn't mind that, it's not annoying. What I didn't really like was the water levels or when you slide down some caves. I'm saying that because there are a lot of particles and sometimes you can't really find where you should go to avoid dying. Also, I have to point out that a few times I had no idea how to finish a level and had to repeat the same things for 10 minutes to find out where I was supposed to go, but maybe it's just me not being very careful about the little details. There isn't really anything special about the gameplay besides the climbing and rope arrow.

    After all, I enjoyed playing the game and it was satisfying enough to recommend it to other people, I hope the next two Tomb Raider games on my list will not be the same gameplay but with a little different story, I hope they will bring new mechanics and better immersion.    … Expand

    The gameplay is super satisfying and fun, the action scenes are probably the best thing about the game. If you are one of those who likes to complete games 100%, this is one in which I have been most entertained to complete 100%

    I have one-hundred hours in "Tomb Raider: This time we'll get it right," also known as the 2013 reboot to the ill-fated, but coincidentally long running Tomb Raider franchise starring the titular, or somewhat below average titular, Lara Croft. Now that many hours tells you two things, A. I benchmarked this game a lot, and B. Probably spent time just visually enjoying the game. Even overI have one-hundred hours in "Tomb Raider: This time we'll get it right," also known as the 2013 reboot to the ill-fated, but coincidentally long running Tomb Raider franchise starring the titular, or somewhat below average titular, Lara Croft. Now that many hours tells you two things, A. I benchmarked this game a lot, and B. Probably spent time just visually enjoying the game. Even over ten years later, it is a very pretty game, not perfect around every edge, asset or character render or facial animation, but its decidedly very pretty to look at. It also has a very professional soundtrack, some pretty hilarious voice acting that is functional, but perhaps doesn't quite line up with the low quality writing.

    In this pre-Lara, pre-adventure that has nothing to do with other third-person action games at the time, nor is it some kind of bizarre fetish murder simulator with gruesome male (as well as female) death sequences, you explore the origins of Lara Croft as a character or something. I don't remember. The story is all over the place, inconsequential, bad, and is some sort of TV's "Lost" meets the "Uncharted" game series meets "Indiana Jones, but just "Temple of Doom" and theirs also something in there about an ancient Japanese sorceress or whatever. Me personally? I couldn't tell you one thing that happens in the story. Some characters show up, sometimes they aren't there, Lara's looking for her girlfriend probably, theirs like two actual boss fights, theirs a boss fight that isn't even a major character that's reduced to a quick-time event twenty minutes into the game and I guess- oh- I guess their are some "tombs" to walk around or discover.

    The Tomb raider series is pretty old, so its not like people didn't see the eventual homogenization of their beloved dear schmoopsy-poo Lara Croft being turned into whatever fried food equivalent that sold well before everyone's doctor started to warn them about potential health complications from eating said particular fried food. The point is that it was always going to attempt to be mainstream, I just never thought a mainstream game would get away with obvious Ryona scenes, references to "Faster, **** Kill! Kill!," and attempts to portray itself as deeply serious in every unbelievably awful scene where Lara "cardboard cutout" Croft can speak to some bland minor character we know nothing about for five minutes about where the plot is going because we sure as heck as the audience don't know and theirs no real reason to care either.

    The fact that so much of the game is reliant on these stupidly obvious, repetitive and insultingly thick confrontations ala third-person shooter accompanied by all manner of chest-high walls, should tell you everything that was on the developers mind's when they crafting this nonsense. Lara, a 130 l.b. (going off Anniversary editions established weight) five foot six inch scrawny looking white girl upper body can magically derive the strength to pull a bow string so far back, that it delivers enough force for the arrow to literally pierce a human skull all the way through. Which is comical in this game no matter how many times I see it, but that doesn't change how utterly ridiculous it is. So its not surprising that combat is a chore against brainless combatants (all men) who are murdered for so much as farting or belching in Lara's general direction, whose motivations are so vague they could actually be extremely aggressive salesmen and Lara would still create an excuse to blow their kneecaps off. Only four weapons are available on an Island somehow armed to the teeth with military grade rifles, pistols, explosives, Molotov cocktails, sub-machines guns, and lets not forget gun turrets. Can't have a good action set piece without a large gun turret shooting at your protagonist.

    So is Lara Croft John Rambo? It would make a lot of sense. Ultimately the things that happen in "Lara Croft Murder adventures: Tombs are only the beginning" merely happen because the writers need an action set piece to push the story forward. Lara falls at the beginning of the game onto a particularly pointy piece of metal, its a silly sequence where you must mash a contextual button prompt in order to pull a long rusty steel rebar out of her pelvic region (if only most girls were this easy). It bares mention that she seeks no medical aid after dislodging the object, and takes a little swim in "godknowswhat" jungle water with no repercussions. Ironically, she later is "injured" after this wound FINALLY gets worse, and she has to cauterize it, a scene the game shy's away from showing even with fairly realistic violence against men by firearm or bow and arrow.

    When you boil it down, Tomb Raider 2013 is a desperate derivative. Its fundamentally pointless. It lacks a narrative structure that cannot progress without some elaborate set piece from an action movie. In summary, it represents everything wrong with modern videogames.    … Expand

Oq mais desapontou foi q de alguma forma as mortes de aliados n me afetaram muito no jogo. de resto o jogo é perfeito ainda atualmente, o preço é ótimo, a gameplay de combate e historia é interessante, tem bastante tempo dejogo MUITO bom ainda atualmente, os graficos um pouco ultrapassados não foram um problema na gameplay, as incriveis paisagens naturais ainda me impressionaram. Oq mais desapontou foi q de alguma forma as mortes de aliados n me afetaram muito no jogo. de resto o jogo é perfeito ainda atualmente, o preço é ótimo, a gameplay de combate e historia é interessante, tem bastante tempo de gameplay, a historia é criativa e original, e msm sendo um jogo um pouco antigo sofri com poucos bugs onde meu maior problema foi ter q reiniciar o game algumas vezes, esse jogo despertou em mim bastante interesse em continuar a saga.     Absolutely loved what this team did with the Tomb Raider franchise. Game still holds up today with both graphics and gameplay. Hopefully they keep making these.

    It played in 2022 for ~3 hours - it seems like an absolutely mediocre product with no distinct features, the game hasn't aged well that's for sure
    I wouldn't want to waste my time on something like this, quite surprised that it has such a high rating here.

    Quality game to chill. Played on low difficulty because i had to chill. Still died few times. Great story, graphics, soundtrack. -1 only for goddamn QTE. But thats it :-)

    This game have great graphics with a decent narative . e progression is fine but the one glaring issue about this game is its combat. the combat is fun at first but as times pass it starts to feel bland. But the gameplay other than the combat is great with fluent movement. It's a great game with good attention to details but I can't give this any higher than an 8

    It annoys you with quick time events that have nothing to do with a Tomb Raider game. Again, why so many quick time events? No one like them, it interrupts your gameplay and we are not playing guitar hero to test our key pressing skills. Even the last boss is a QTE!!!

    Another annoying thing is how every single climb in the game is marked with a super bright white or yellow paint. Really, did you seen that in the real world?
    It completely breaks the scenario immersion, everything in your sight will be spotted in white and yellow.
    There was no need of that, I played many Tomb Raider games and was perfectly able to know where to jump and where not.

    Need also to mention the huge amount of bullets, explosions, buildings falling and more buildings exploding in this game. When did we see this barbaric amount of destruction in a Tomb Raider game?
    And why is Lara a kind of god that can sustain any type of injury: dozens of bullets, bone cracks, deep wounds, explosions in her face, 50m falls... no worries, there's no life bar or medkits in this game... so in 30 secs Lara will be fine again.

    All in all this game experience is more close to a bad Tomb Raider movie than a good Tomb Raider game.    … Expand

    While not every promising idea Tomb Raider has is pulled off successfully, it nevertheless turns in a tense and memorable ride that combines modern game design with its forebears’ adventurous spirit in some exciting ways. Some of its missteps may well come at the cost of your enjoyment, but most can’t hope to hurt the adventure in the long run. Although it never fully finds its identity, this is a game and a story worth seeing through.
