    I want to first off say I never played the Borderlands series. I am real also real new to first person shooters, though I ♥ this one. I love the story, the look and feel of the game. I love that it is funny and very entertaining. I've really enjoyed this game a lot and hope there is a lot of replay for it.

The writing is funnier than ever, the world building has swapped the post-apocalyptic landscapes for lush, gorgeous maps, and improvements to the combat make this title a must-play.     Commendable effort, they actually made a good game following the abhorrently distasteful BL3 and its pathetic DLCs. Addition of spells and sword plays made this a chaotic but fun experience. Good VOs, worth to play.

    This game is amazing. I encounter to very minor bugs . level design is top notch. weapons are re-skinned ,but yet they fill different . only problem i had with Tiny Tina is " they didn't hire different voice actors and a same voice actor is talking over and over. also sometimes it's    should you bomb a amazing game because of epic exclusive and woke??

Again being "woke" is just so these companies can avoid being scrutinized, but the game itself overshadows the shoehorned stuff which really is like .001% of content so far.

    Gearbox always clearly wanted to make a fantasy RPG, and they made a good one. It's a fantastic game. Tons of homage to fantasy tropes, feels like they somehow made a fantasy with guns setting work, and they toned down the boring, over saturated feel of the previous BL games for a more challenging and rewarding experience where you actually have to try to min-max and gear right to get a workable build, like action RPGs should be.

    The art is beautiful, it plays somehow like a shooter RPG, the skills are fun, the drop rates are balanced, and the writing is legitimately funny.

    Most fun I've had with a game in years. I hope they stick with this new formula instead of the mess that BL3 was. Reminds me of BL2, even BL1, or even a shooter version of classic ARPGs like D2. Love it. "Woke stuff" seems unnecessary (everyone does it nowadays to avoid scrutiny), but it's really not that big of a deal.

    This game is not a DLC. Its a full game with 25 hours of gameplay. Who says its a DLC should replay spiderman miles morales to see how long a standalone dlc is. This game is awesome.

    Do not listen to the negative reviews. This game is reallllly good. Whoever talks about woke stuff and review bombs it, are just stupid babies and I’m dead serious. Their fragile wittle feelings are hurt. This games tone and level design and story is just really good and the melee combat feels really strong in this one. And yeah shift was down for a bit but lol holy **** there are aDo not listen to the negative reviews. This game is reallllly good.     Game is a lot of fun and improves in many ways compared to BL3. If you are a fan of the franchise in general this one is definitely a no brainer. And don’t get discouraged by people who say the game is “woke propaganda”… just using these terms makes it pretty clear what kind of people you are. Pretty pathetic in my honest opinion.

    its's fun, looking forward to the DLC. The dual classes were a great addition and the magic was a fresh addition to the game.

    Awesome new way of a Borderlands like shoot and loot rpg! I like the new theme and instead of specific characters we have classes, which gives it a unique new way to enjoy the borderlands franchise.

    The game is great, very fun shooter, end game content is awesome. Yes, servers were down first 2 days of launch and that sucks but it doesn't deserve a 0 by the people review bombing the game over it. Do the side-quests, they are fantastic. I don't typically like playing solo but this game was a blast playing solo. It was definitely worth the money and I can't wait for the DLC.

    Exciting, tight, varied, and creative Gunplay, baller character customization, overall just fun as **** gameplay all the way. Also no technical issues for me at all.

I would even say it rivals Borderlands 2 writing. I know a lot modern gamers are used to bland dialogue that lacks ingenuity. Because of that, I could see how they would get confused that there's actual dialogue, and plot development.

    The launch day multiplayer fiasco is standard for all AAA releases, so I'm not going to hold that to this title. Unfortunately, it's just expected at this point. People love to write off a game immediately because of issues like that rather than trust that it will be fixed. Also, the multiplayer function is not what makes a game good or bad. People are just mad that they can't multiplay at the moment, so they rage review as a coping mechanism.

    To those complaing about crashes; my game has not crashed since I started playing. I have 24 hours logged. Wonderlands is way more well-optimized than Borderlands 3 ever has been. I get a consistent 140fps, and it runs smooth as silk. Most of the reviews here are people raging about the multiplayer not working. This is not indicative of the game as a whole. Frankly, metacritic should have something in place that removes reviews if it's just going to be people writing what should be sent to 2K Support, and not be taken as an informed opinion.

    This is not another Borderlands game. It may run on the same engine, have the same characters, and other similarities; but Wonderlands stands out on its own.

    Finally, there's one review here where the author projects his own insecurities towards FromSoftware, and tries to spin it as if FS is somehow living rent-free in GBX's head. Dude, who hurt you? I promise you that you're the only one thinking this. Take a chill pill, followed by some grammar classes, then come back to the game.

    TLDR; game good, multiplayer will be fixed. Don't listen to any review that bases itself off of multiplayer functionality.    … Expand

    The game itself is good. Nothing less and nothing more then I expected from the "Borderlands" series. Classic type of humor and good gameplay in the fantasy type of world. That's a shame that a game gets rev bombing because of Epic launcher and some server problems in the first day.

    I changed my mind.
    First i thought, that BL3 is far superior to Tiny Tinas but damn was i wrong....
    I love the Weapons, the Story and dan-git finally a loveable Villain again.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is an amazing game. To begin with I have played every other borderlands game including the pre sequel and tell tale series. I have already put in 200+ hours and I feel that I have experienced almost all parts of this game. To start with, yes you can choose to only use spells or only go melee, or even stick to traditional borderlands style and use the guns. Depending on the class you choose, this is most definitely a possibility. People seemed to be upset that you could choose your pronouns, and I love what borderlands did with this. In most cases I feel that these things are shoved in people's faces to be inclusive. this game instead decided to make it a quick pick, and it just effects the text for your skills. Perfect way of making this inclusive, while not shoving it down everyone's throats. The gameplay is very polished with the pacing of quests, battles, and loot drops. I believe the idea to make your loot drop increase as you play the game was also a great idea as to not have a repeat of borderlands 3s loot drop rates. The jokes and dialogue are also appropriate. The music however definitely was a bit of a disappointment. I found that in many maps, the music either wouldn't play, would be too quiet, wouldn't be relative to the current battle, or it would sound very lazyily made by only repeating a few notes over and over again. There are some bugs, but this game is still very new and hasn't gone through many patches yet. I don't think that this game beats borderlands 2 for me, and I don't think anything will that they make. Borderlands 2 will always be special and the story just can't be beat, but I like that this games goal wasn't to do that. There is also a massive amount of gameplay here, and there is only more to come. End game is wonderful with the chaos system, and feels like a overhauled version of borderlands 3s mayhem mode. Also I'm not sure why it matters so much that this game came out on the epic store. It doesn't change the fact that I can play with friends, and it runs no differently from games on other launchers. player callouts also got a setting to turn off which is great because after a while they do get boring, but remember, YOU CAN TURN THEM OFF. I also don't think that because there's a side quest about freeing goblins that wonderlands goal was to preach about politics lmao. Also server issues will be fixed soon, the game is new, there's bound to be issues that they didn't foresee like player count. Overall, I love this game, story, gameplay, loot, and concept, and if you don't find the looter shooter genre fun, then no one's making you play it. I'm excited to see what new DLCs come out and what gameplay comes next.

    Quick add-on,(this doesn't include people who had actual points and left poor reviews just the very odd ones), but the poor reviews for this game make no sense, either they haven't even played it, or somehow haven't learned the game mechanics. Like bruh saying there is no female representation or it's sexist, or political literally makes no sense. Also theirs settings to fix half of these issues. And people are complaining about the game trying to be inclusive. Wonderlands did this the best way they could have. So retuning the game because theirs a single setting to pick pronouns so that your skills say he attacks instead of she is just stupid lol. Also the end boss fight was hot.    … Expand

Yes, but it's one of four DLC, usually won't be bought on it's own and shouldn't be a reason to write off the game immediately. I've bought the game today, after the bigger patch and can't complain about bugs (except the vending machine scrolling breaking). Yes, but it's one of four DLC, usually won't be bought on it's own and shouldn't be a reason to write off the game immediately.     I thought this game was super fun. Amazing voice acting and storyline and the gunplay was amazing. I played all the Borderlands games and this is up near the top for me. Can't say enough good things about it.

    I loved it so much that i finished it in full 24 hours from release. I love this Borderlands 2 vibes with tina. The only thing i hated is that our character doesn't shut up. There is always annoying quip. But i'm sure it's minor inconvenience :)

    Borderlands had its share of bugs, broken abilities and boring levels, but it always made up for it with humor and charm. Not anymore: Gearbox lost its best writers, so in Wonderlands it struggles even with established characters, and new ones fall completely flat. [Issue#260, p.42]

    Tiny Tina's Wonderland is not only a DnD parody, it's wonderfully mocked by the many universes and characters that exist. If you love classic Borderlans action and are interested in the world of FRP, it's a wonderland where you'll both laugh a lot and have a lot of fun playing.

    It is abundantly clear that the creative team behind Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands are massive RPG fans who have crafted a joyous blend of Borderlands mayhem with RPG epic-ness. I loved the story, characters, gameplay, and production values of this game. I should also mention that while I primarily played this game single-player, multiplayer co-op is supported because looter-shooters and tabletop RPGs are more fun with friends. First-person shooter games are not my preferred genre, but after playing Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, I would be game to try out a mainline Borderlands game and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. For making me a new fan of something outside my wheelhouse, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands wholeheartedly earns a spot as one of my favorite games of 2022.
