Really loved the game, the history was good, characters, graphics, soundtrack was amazing! The only point is the game are no balanced about the difficulty, I feel that the beginning of the game are more challenge than the final.

Timespinner is a love letter to both Castevania: SOTN and Super Nintendo RPGs like Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger. I loved the gameplay for the most part, but the fetch quests and weapon grinding became tedious after a while. The music by Jeff Ball is equal parts schmaltzy Castlevania rock and mellifluous, somber piano. Great stuff.

I'd say my biggest complaint would have to be

I'd say my biggest complaint would have to be the story. The story, while enjoyable, didn't feel as fleshed out as it could have been. The overarching story, character interactions, and developing relationships just fell short in a lot of ways. We didn't get to /see/ or /feel/ these characters growing closer or changing, it just sort of...happened after a set point in the game. I loved the three dimensional depictions of LGBTQIA+ characters, but I would have liked to have seen more scenes with them or had more dialogue with them to really develop and flesh them out. As it stands, this is really ONLY Lunais's game, and I think the side characters really suffered for that.

If the devs can improve the overall quality of writing, I think a sequel could become an instant classic.

    Pros.:
    - Metroidvania.
    - Solid story, you need to read and understand it better. - You can go back and forth in time, exploring the same areas. - Chilling game. - Graphics. - Music resembles Castlevania. Cons.: - At some point, the game becomes EXTREMELY easy. it's not really good for this genre. - I beat the game never using the time stop (except when it was a must). This

    - I beat the game never using the time stop (except when it was a must). This feature is almost useless.
    - The story could be more developed.
    - Needed to develop more mechanics.

So, I can see the potential. However, the developers didn't fulfill everything.

There is a lot of hate for this game just because it has a couple gay folks in it. What kind of planet are y'all living on?

The atmosphere is superb, the art style is absolutely breathtaking, and the combat is ridiculously fun. If the fact that same sex relationships exist is enough to cloud your review's integrity, you should not review games.

Tbis is an objectively good, fun to play game.

A strange metroidvania in that it puts its story wholly at its front, Timespinner is a unique time-travelling experience whose subject matter is more mature than it may seem. Plus, you get to have a partner dragon.

A lovely Castlevania-like adventure with intriguing time-control mechanics. It also looks and plays great.

The pixel-art is faultless and the gameplay is pleasingly reminiscent of the classics, but Timespinner doesn't offer much that feels new.
