I enjoyed the look and sounds of the game, but that's about it. No multiplayer, little action, all story. Read the novel, it's more exciting.
-
This game is both frustratingly easy and frustratingly difficult.
-
When the game is over, which is very quickly, you'll hardly remember a thing about it.
-
The battles, the excitement, and the potential mix of science fiction with history, is all lost in a stilted game environment that was obviously crafted by Crichton's vision of what the game should be vs. the ultimate goal of creating a good game.
-
The game sucks so badly I cannot seem to recover from the terrible and debilitating side effects.
-
"D'OH!" Sorry Charlie, but the bastard offspring of Mr. Crichton's handiwork has struck again. To those who thought "Trespasser" was bad, heh, well.. sugar, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

PC GamerWe'll always love Michael Crichton for his books, movies, and TV shows. [Feb 2001, p.58]
-
CNET GamecenterA short-lived, badly designed bore of a game.
-
From opening the box to viewing the end credits, playing Timeline in its entirety takes roughly an hour and a half...Are you still here? What the hell is it going to take to convince you not to buy this?
