Jun 4, 2020Timelie is a great puzzle game for any kind of player to enjoy. It allows you to control time as you maneuver a cat and a girl around dangerous robots. The puzzles are challenging, the art style is beautiful, and the game builds to an intriguing ending.

May 21, 2020Timelie offers a unique experience and is an impressive piece of work considering it is Urnique Studios' first major release. Much like Braid or Celeste before it, it would not be surprising if Timelie became an extremely important and talked about indie title for a lot of gamers. Anyone who enjoys indie games or puzzles should buy a copy of Timelie as soon as possible.

May 21, 2020Timelie is an approachable time-manipulation adventure that only borders on the line of overly complicated or too straightforward. It strikes a perfect balance with its mechanics and even introduces unique elements into the formula that make it stand out in the genre. The open narrative and lack of enemy types leave a bit to be desired, but this is one of the best time-based puzzle games that I’ve played in years.

May 28, 2020Several games offer players the chance to rewind time and pause the action, but I’ve never grown tired of this particular power fantasy. I appreciate Timelie’s stealth-based, tactical approach to time manipulation. But just as Timelie starts to hit its stride, I hit the credits. Timelie isn’t the most comprehensive exploration of time manipulation, but its bite-sized puzzles are a welcome distraction.
