    Generally one of the best games out there. The story has emotional impacts on you and the game later on. And the ending... may or may not have made me cried :L

    There is only one Series that's having a better Story: Bioshock. And then comes The Walking Dead by Telltale Games. Im absolutely in love with this game. The story is sad, amazing, awesome, funny, etc... at the same time!
    The characters are absolute convincing and Clem is the best kid i've ever seen in a movie/game.     god, forget about all games this is it. I mean it. This is the real game. I feel like other games are just waste of time. May the graphics aren't good enough but it feels like you're in the comic book. Feels like you are living in it. Just Awesome!

    Without a doubt the best game I've played in recent memory. Won't spoil anything, but rarely have I felt so emotionally connected to fictional characters, and certain moments made me cry my eyes out. Had to make a metacritic account just to review this game, absolutely fantastic.

    OK I might be giving it a perfect score while it is not a perfect game. The reason behind this is the amazing experience that the story gave me. A mixture of brilliant writing,tremendous voice acting and an excellent narrative make this adventure game a genre defining experience. All 5 episodes are brilliantly paced and on no occasion felt stretched. Only weakness of the game are theOK I might be giving it a perfect score while it is not a perfect game. The reason behind this is the amazing experience that the story gave me. A mixture of brilliant writing,tremendous voice acting and an excellent narrative make this adventure game a genre defining experience.     What can I say that hasn't already been said? I got hooked with this game seeing it on youtube and had to buy it as soon as it was complete on disc. Just loved it. The first and only time that I completely felt for the characters... I wanted them to get along well, to success (and even committted a few crimes just to keep things friendly between some characters).     Ah.. my little new love..Clementine. One of the most precious little girls in comic, movie or video game history. She really makes this, harsh, anger-inducing but GREAT video game memorable.

    The main character, Lee Everett is a good guy that got messed over and I really found playing out his relationship with his ward, student and loving, doting adopted daughter Clementine the most    Ah.. my little new love..Clementine. One of the most precious little girls in comic, movie or video game history. She really makes this, harsh, anger-inducing but GREAT video game memorable.

    The main character, Lee Everett is a good guy that got messed over and I really found playing out his relationship with his ward, student and loving, doting adopted daughter Clementine the most beautiful part of this game.

    Probably THE most powerful game I've ever played in my life. Easily one of the best stories and an experience that truly puts every bit of weight of your choices on your shoulders. This is the first game where I've TRULY been able to insert myself into the main character because I chose who survives, who dies, and all of MY choices reap MY benefits or consequences.     Great storytelling and characters. Nothing special gameplay wise, but it's a great experience. The graphic style works well and all in all I had an awesome time with this game.

    What can I say? It made me cry at the end of season one. I never felt such intimate, emotional moments in a PC game before. Even though I understood the rails, this whole concept was based on, I loved it from the very first, to the last second and I can't wait to continue with Season Two, Episode Two.

    Story telling at its best. Gripped from start to end, along the way developing ever changing feeling towards the diverse characters that you meet in this Zombie Apocalypse. The game is split into 5 nicely paced out episodes, each adding their own different set of characters and twists and turns for the main protagonist and his companions the face.     I only have two games which i would call perfect. Portal and The Walking Dead. This story is so perfect i wanted to believe they were real. The art style is so nicely detailed and brilliant. When the I got to the end i cried that is how much this game makes you care. Play this game and if you do not love it, I do not know what to say.

    Great game,great story! If you played this I'm sure you can't say that it's a bad game. You have hard decisions to take but in the end you will see the face of every character you met. The game follows the evolution of a little girl found and raised by someone who helps it untill death. En todo momento estaba en tension, incluso en los momentos que parecian tranquilos. E incluso estaba preocupado por si mis decisiones afectarian al final de esta gran histoia.     This is one of the greatest feats in storytelling in the video game medium. You emotionally connect with main characters Lee and Clementine and your choices always feel like they matter. Point and click games may turn people off but I implore anyone who enjoys a good story to give The Walking Dead a chance. Its probably the only game that has ever got me close to crying at the end.

    I am now 42 years old. Playing games since I've been 16. But, never, never had such feelings during a game..... Surprises everywhere. And you keep on seeing pictures for days...

    i have never played a game before, that had an ending that made my teary eyed, at least not before The walking dead from Telltale Games. And i do not even like point and click adventures.
    (for maximum tears play all the episodes in a row, on the same day).

    As far as the story goes for 'The Walking Dead' this is one of the best in gaming. You feel wrapped up in the world of the walkers, and you feel every emotional hit, as you try doing what's best for yourself, and Clementine, the little girl you are protecting. It is bitter sweet, but you carry on, because you want to see this get to an end. When you play this video game you will be theAs far as the story goes for 'The Walking Dead' this is one of the best in gaming. You feel wrapped up in the world of the walkers, and you feel every emotional hit, as you try doing what's best for yourself, and Clementine, the little girl you are protecting.     The Walking Dead is simply a jewel in videogames. The game focuses entirely on the story, so much that the gameplay is reduced to walking around and clicking things. But the gameplay is still satisfying. Whenever you click on an object, the main character will usually say a commentary, or if you click on a person, you can know more about them, like their jobs and families.

    I never thought i was gonna play a game of this genre but i love it!! Its just like watching a tv-show were you have your favourite characters and also the ones that you just hate.. and the time when the episode is over and you have to wait for the next one.. you hate it but at the same time you also love it :D!!

No tendrá jugabilidad mas allá de unos QTE, pero tus decisiones si importan, definen tu trato con estas personas, en quienes confías y como te trataran. Debería dejar a esta traidora morir a manos de zombies? Debería dar mi única comida a alguien mas? Seré neutro ehTodo el mundo a dicho todo lo que se puede de este juego, no perderé mi tiempo repitiéndolo punto por punto. Seré breve. Mientras que otros juegos te lo cuentan todo a través de cinemáticas y solo te llaman a la hora de matar, aquí no es así, y aunque eso hace que su jugabilidad sea limitadísima y pobre, haciendo que apenas pase como "juego" como uno esperaría, lo vuelve una historia mucho mas personal, capaz de darte golpes por una mala decisión, por que los errores que comete el protagonista se vuelven los tuyos, lo acompañas en el viaje volviéndote el, y de verdad sientes la experiencia. Mientras que otros juegos se basan por completo en la jugabilidad, la cual con pocos años se vuelve un coñazo, este sabe que una buena historia durara mucho mas, y trascenderá mas que el juego mecánico mas innovador de la fecha... Y en lo personal, es mi juego favorito del 2012.

While some complain that the choices you make don't matter ,they are wrong the choices form you as a person and your relationships with other people. You play as a convict who murders his wife called Lee Everett on his way to prison during the zombie apocalypse and then there is the little girl you meet called Clementine. When you meet Clementine she is an innocent 8 year old surviving in a tree house after her babysitter "turned". Throughout your journey you choices also affect her personality and relationships towards others as well as your own personality. The back stories and events are completely believable for the situation and when they die they make you genuinely feel something. I recommend this to anyone who likes a good story. Go on try it for yourself make your choice.… Expand

    This game is not an ordinary game, it's a master piece, the story is the strongest point in this game, and it's well told. The voices here are very well chosen and the dialogs are very well written, the playability is very good for an point and click game.
    it's HQ atmosphere is amazing.
    i really recommend for players that loves a good story and to get involved emotionally.

    The Walking Dead Game is a masterpiece, never before has a narrative driven me to depression like this one! With lovable and unlikable characters, the story-line drives the entire game, whereas game-play does lack, but it doesn't matter - if you love stories, this is one you need to be told...

    For me this was the single best experience of 2012 and into 2013 and the chapters rolled in. The emotions involved, the characters and the quality going into them... and the hard choices. Oh, those choices.

    The nice about this game is that it allows you to make even the most useless choices. What your response is going to be is your option. The story is being developed though the gameplay and not though cutscenes. Also your reactions are changing the flow of the story making it more interesting.     I was pretty reluctant to play this game as I was of the opinion that 1) point-and-shoot games are too straight forward and 2) I've seen the show so there won't be any surprises for me.
    After reading the plethora of praises laid upon this game, I decided to take a chance and I must say I wasn't disappointed.
    Right from the time you start the game from the back seat of a police car to the    I was pretty reluctant to play this game as I was of the opinion that 1) point-and-shoot games are too straight forward and 2) I've seen the show so there won't be any surprises for me.
    After reading the plethora of praises laid upon this game, I decided to take a chance and I must say I wasn't disappointed.

    This game has simply revived my love of video games. I have almost put it aside, as the lack of depth and devs' urge to create something meaningful has plagued many titles beginning of this decade for me. Beginning with the first encounter with Clem, it changed completely.

But as an interactive story, I can honestly say I've never felt so invested in a group of fictional characters before. Everyone is flawed but usually sympathetic, and the protagonist and his constant child companion are some of the most likeable characters in games.

    Even if Lee isn't a generic "everyman", you learn to very quickly identify with him and see things from his perspective, and Clementine is perhaps the only well-done child character in any video game ever. She's realistic, she's cute, she's scared, and she looks up to you. Every action you end up taking will end up going through the filter of "what will Clem think?", and the writing and acting does a wonderful job making you really live with your decisions.

    Despite the many player choices, this isn't a heavily branching story. The overall plot remains relatively the same regardless of what you do, though the fate of the supporting cast can vary. More than a branching plot, it wants to make it feel like your story, that everything that happens is a result of your choices, and it loves to make you feel guilty, whatever you end up doing. The writing and acting are excellent, and it's an emotionally brutal story in a way so rarely pulled off in games. Even if you don't like this kind of game, even if you don't even like zombies, this is a devastatingly sad tale that really needs to be experienced for yourself, if you can see past the limitations of the game built to tell it.    … Expand

    Telltale's first installment for Robert Kirkman's famous comic perfectly pulled it off and flawlessly set the foundation for TTG's own The Walking Dead Universe. A game worthy of being one of 2012's Game of The Year, it just leaves you collecting different emotions, mostly negative emotions because you can really feel the pressure of the story on your character, Lee Everett.

    This is my favourite game ever. It has the most emotional and fantastic story in any game to date. You will be blown away by the choices you make and how devastating they can be. If you are a PC gamer then this is truly the game to get.

    This game is just awesome. It features a great plot, pretty goddamn good soundtrack, and incredible graphics. You will experience a dramatic story which lead you to shocking condition. This game made me to start wathcing The Walking Dead TV show which is now one of my favourite TV Shows ever. If you haven't ever watched TV Show or read the comics, this game will make you to do it. A masterpiece.

    Great game. the story is very great, its not another survival game while you just killing zombie to surivive, but its more focused on the people itself, not the zombie . and just like a real life when you are in that situation u wil feel emotion, frustation, panic, traitor, is a part of the group story.

    + Characters that we care for and get attached to (or love to hate!)
    + Clementine & Lee
    + Voice actors are doing an amazing job at humanizing these characters
    + Dialogue system and quick decision time
    + Creates a true emotional involvment from the player
    + Relationship between the members of the group
    + Easy gameplay that serves a robust scenario first and foremost
    + Different decisions leading to different paths (though the overall story line stays the same)

    Cons:
    - Gameplay could have been more developed/fleshed
    - Some slow/uninspired moments
    - Technically not a revolution.... Nonetheless, I liked the cell shedding style.

    First thing is first this game is not for those gamers that want GAMEPLAY and GRAPHICS it's about STORY a fantastic one to be exact,you have to make some hard choises and difficult decisions because it plays out based on your decisions and you gotta make the right decision I had a lot of fun playing it with a controller.

The dialogues and the story are written pretty good that lets you as player always wants to know how the story about Clementine, Lee and the other goes on.     But like in many Telltale game the decisions and dialogue options you make have often no or nearly no effect for the future game that makes it nearly unnecessary to play the game again because it will end on the same way like before.    … Expand

Clementine is literally a savage who kills not only dogs but kills naughty dogs, and every time she says **** my penis gets more and more hard until it bursts onto my dualshock 4.     Best game I've played. I usually play competitive FPS games but I like this game were you have to make interesting decisions and with a very good story. If you want a game like Fallout or Skyrim with less looting and more story, this is the best.

    The thing that keeps me going and makes me want to play through the night, is that this game is VERY re-playable. You just have to make different decisions. I for one can't wait to re-play, and see everything I missed.
    I have never wanted to cry during a video game before, but with TWD, I shed tears during every episode, and I was happy to do it, because the story is so good, so captivating, so incredibly well done. I have never recommended a game more or given a game a higher grade that The Walking Dead. I have finished every season, every DLC, every episode. Make your life better, play this game.    … Expand

    This was the first time a story in a videogame captivated me. Before this I really only played platformers and stuck to nintendo consoles.     What an incredible story, it is different from the series (which is more famous), but it has some references, very good gameplay and puzzles that are fun, and a gameplay that brings various sensations, sadness, anger, joy and even the wee hours .

    I cried at the end, it hurt me to lose Lee. When you become very attached to a character, especially if it is well written and worked out, it leaves a mark in your soul. And this game did it, it left a huge imprint. And that is wonderful.

    Let me start this of by saying, if you have not played this yet, do it. This is, quite possibly, the best game saga of the 2010s. The story is extremely immersive, if you can ignore the average but every now and again as well as the graphics, which I find quite stylized. I just played it through for the third time and I STILL somehow cried, and I'm not much of a crier. You can feel the tension in every major decision you make, and, even though the graphics are not as good as I wish they were, I really appreciate the style it was meant to be in, which is, to say, the same style as the comics. The music and sound choices are absolutely incredible, each sound and soundtrack, mixed with whatever situation you're in, does an amazing job at making you feel the way the characters you empathize with feel. I've laughed, I've cried, and I've even been mad, yelling at the characters in real life! It's extremely unfortunate that Telltale is out of business, although the last season really did almost wrap the whole thing up, and I would've been disappointed in a new season probably, they just didn't deserve to end this way. 11/10.
