Sep 3, 2014This is the worst game I have ever played. It isn't user friendly. It's terrible. I had hopes for it but not after playing. It was a waste of $80.....

Sep 4, 2014Downgrade. Game have not more things. Not optimalized for 64-bit CPU and more thin 4GB RAM. This is game only for 5 years old Low-End PC, not for High-End test. Game for kids with old computer. 69.90 USD pay for this game? WTF? Max. 15 USD.

Sep 4, 2014Played for an hour and deleted it. Do not believe the positive reviews. They are either EA themselves or hardcore Sims fans in denial. This game is such a disappointment, it's so buggy, boring and bland. Don't waste your time. And to the people saying it will be better when there are expansions - well., you deserve to to be suckered out of your money cus that's exactly what EA wants.

Sep 4, 2014Why on earth would anybody give this game a 10? They must either work for EA or just be a complete fool.
How is it possible for the developer to entirely lack the majority of features that made Sims 3 or even Sims 2 a decent game? It's simply inconceivable to me how they can plop this giant pile of **** out with a sixty buck price tag.
What were you thinking Maxis/EA? -
Sep 5, 2014I thought the game was good until actually started playing it.. It was terrible, just no.
It feels like alot of core features is missing and it's just filled with gamebreaking bugs,
but that will probably be fixed in the upcoming 50+ expansionpacks, or not..
I have lost all faith in The Sims series. -
Sep 5, 2014Lacks the majority of features that were present in Sims 3. Camera is very inconvenient, there's no open world, bugs are everywhere. The game feels like Sims 2 with better graphics, nothing more.

Sep 5, 2014This game is pretty much a $70 demo and proof that EA are a bunch of money grabbing *****. Very little content. and once all the contents do come out its going to end up costing $300+.
**** you EA -
Sep 5, 2014Waste of time and money. much less content, less items, less features. Pretty sure that EA has already prepared a loooooot of content already ready to be released if you,re proned to pay 25$ in order to have a swimming pool, a baby, a car (25$ for each item don't be so naive). I don't agree with this kind of policy. i,m feeling like robbed. Hope that EA gonna do something.

Sep 7, 2014Funny thing about this game. They stuffed it up that much that when I took it back to EB games for a refund. I Returned home to delete it and accidently double clicked it and the game started playing. So you don't need the disc to play The Sims 4. Not that I'll be playing it anyways. I'd rather play The Sims 1. but I've resorted back to The Sims 3 :)

Jul 23, 2020While an enjoyable title that has been polished up and seems generally very modern, it cannot be expected that The Sims 4 is not going to be compared to The Sims 3. In this respect, it seems that while the game took a few steps forwards, it also took a few steps backwards by abandoning features that were very helpful and appreciated in the previous versions. It does have new features that people have been waiting for, such as emotions and more personality for the Sims. As for now, for some players it may not quite be worth to abandon The Sims 3 for it, but for new players looking for a first experience with the franchise, they may have an easier time navigating than former The Sims 3 players. People that have previously enjoyed the latter may be disappointed by the menus (Sim creation, building, or navigating town), as they have been so massively oversimplified that they are now actually confusing.

CD-ActionOct 24, 2014The Sims 4 is just a foundation of a game. How would you react if you bought a new Elder Scrolls game and realized that half of the cities are unavailable (because TES6: World Adventures is around the corner), there are only 4 weapons (TES6: Accessories), you can’t ride horses (TES6: Pets), there are only 12 quests (TES6: Careers), 2 guilds (TES6: Friends) and 3 spells (TES6: Supernatural)?
