The Sims 4: Seasons connects Sims more than ever to their player counterparts, and now that Sims have holidays to look forward too and birthdays marked down on the calendar, there’s a foundation in their lives where there once was none. Playing with Seasons gives a certain sense of play that wasn’t their before and much like each passing day I can’t wait for the changes Seasons brings to my Sims’ lives.

The Sims 4 Seasons is quite frankly the best expansion to come out yet. There are tons of new items, but what sets it apart are the ways it changes the game. It adds so many new activities and things to do and wonderful holidays, it honestly made me feel like this is the first must have expansion for The Sims 4.

With Seasons, EA has delivered one of the most robust, complete expansions for The Sims 4.

Seasons adds in one or two fun systems, and I can’t wait to see how they interact with future content, but it doesn’t have the game-changing impact you’d hope an expansion pack would bring.

While it’s taken far too long for it to arrive, The Sims 4 Seasons is one of the most necessary expansions that exists for the game, as the addition of weather alone adds so much to the overall experience. It’s not everything it could have been, and it’s definitely got some quirks here and there, but dedicated The Sims 4 players should consider this one a must-own.

You could grumble that more items could have been included or other events were added besides festive holidays, but EA has effectively overhauled the personality of your creations in tiny ways while introducing new actions, ways to interact and design ideas for the home.

The Four Seasons represents the most complete expansion that Maxis' game has received up until now. It is not only about the weather, but it makes The Sims 4 feel like a much more real experience.

The Sims 4 Seasons introduces your Sims to the joys of spring, summer, fall, and winter - and the dangers of bees, lightning, thermostats, and devious lawn gnomes. It's as quirky, weird, and funny as it sounds.

EA has gotten better at making sure fans are getting a good bang for their buck, and they seem to really understand that adding fan favorite stuff – like weather – is a must at this point.

One of the best Sims 4 expansions packs so far, Seasons changes everything for your sim families with friendly bees, sinister gnomes and a chance to chat up Father Winter.

There’s no big innovative feature in The Sims 4: Seasons, but that expansion pack adds many little things the fans will surely enjoy, mostly because the season changes break the habit in many good ways.

This Expansion Pack would be perfect if it weren't for the occasional bugs that interfere with normal game play, other than that this packThis Expansion Pack would be perfect if it weren't for the occasional bugs that interfere with normal game play, other than that this pack adds a boat load of new stuff. The seasons themselves are the most detailed this time around compared to previous entries, trees violently sway in the wind during a storm, water sources freeze over with cracked details, heat waves look like heat waves, length of day changes throughout the seasons, lighting and shading details change throughout the seasons, each world has unique weather patterns, it may be cloudy and chilly in one world and then stormy and warm in another, so much to appreciate here, and that's just with the seasons and weather alone. Along with the seasons they added holidays, the ability to create your own holidays, a new gardening career with a new florist station to create bouquets of flowers, gift giving, scouts for teens and children, and a bunch of recreational activities like roller skating/ice skating, swings, water, mud, and snow ball fighting, kiddie pools for toddlers, and so on. One thing I'm very impressed by is the fact that each life stage has a lot of interactivity with this pack, from toddlers through elders, each life stage has options to enjoy this pack in one way or another. This pack caters to many different play styles, realistic, deviant, goal oriented, family, there's so much to do and explore and something for everyone with this expansion pack, any avid Sims 4 fan should definitely grab this pack if and when they have the chance.
