The Sims 4: City Living encourages you to be constantly out and doing things. In a word, it is refreshing. It's precisely what I felt was missing from the base game of The Sims 4 and from every expansion since. My only true criticism of it is that it's an expansion. I wish that the base game could've felt as real as City Living does, and I wish I didn't have to spend $40 on top of the $40 for The Sims 4. If you've been holding off on The Sims 4 until That One Expansion, City Living is the one.

City Living gives us a township full of life that’s easy and fun to explore. With new ways to do jobs and fun interactions with neighbours, this is one expansion any Sims lover should add to their collection.

The Sims 4: City Living is an excellent addition to the core, and possibly the best apartment-themed expansion in series history. It’s also the best add-on The Sims 4 has produced yet. Many of its ideas are recycled from previous iterations, but what’s new takes the series forward in interesting ways.

A fantastic expansion, giving you plenty of new things to do and lots of new places to visit, even if some of the bugs and the load times become a little exasperating.

Our Sims moved to the big city of St Myshuno and we enjoyed it, although most of the new improvements found in this expansion can´t be exported to other Sims Worlds.

An expansion that every simmer must have in a similar way to Sims 2 Apartment Life. It could be bigger, but that's the only flaw of this expansion pack.

City Living enhanced considerably the gameplay of The Sims 4 and adds an excellent expansion to the core. It is clearly visible what has been the starting idea, provided by the experience of The Urbz for PS2 but declined in a newer and fresher form.

The Sims 4 City Living creates new and meaningful gameplay on the Sims formula, and is the best expansion The Sims 4 has seen to date. It has smart gameplay, new ways to interact with the world, and an amazing new setting. If living the city life sounds fun, you cannot go wrong with City Living, however if that doesn’t intrigue you, there is not much here for you.

It's an expansion we've really enjoyed and it definitely adds a fair amount of content, but we missed having more different experiences.

While being quite light on content, The Sims 4: City Life is a nice add-on to the game which brings a few but nice locations with enough variety to keep you entertained. The price is quite steep for so little content.

Discovering new additions is fun, but it does not last long, because the game gets repetitive quickly. [01/2017, p.71]

City Living is a weak expansion for The Sims 4. Even though its ideas and base are good, Maxis has not reached the goal of creating a good quality DLC.

What you're really buying is a nice backdrop and a privilege of living in EA prebuilt apartments. Even if you are a The Sims 4 fan, I would recommend to get it on sale. Full Review »

Way too expensive considering how little content this DLC adds. Literally a new skin for the base game + a few new skills and activitiesWay too expensive considering how little content this DLC adds. Literally a new skin for the base game + a few new skills and activities (singing, social media, protesting) but otherwise nothing special. Definitely not worth 40$. I am having major buyer's remorse right now. This DLC should be priced at 20$ or less NOT 40$. Full Review »

So many features!!! City Living makes the story line much more fun to play, and attracts more and more people to it. I wish to Electronic Arts that all the expansions will be so filling like City Living.
