    I guess if you have a fast, new, expensive computer this game is cool but Im disappointed. It runs painfully slow and takes up too many resources. The game itself looks to be all that it promised to be, but it doesn't play well so that means nothing.

    The game is not good. There are some innovative things regarding the gameplay, but it's still too much similar to the first one. They should release the game with already ALL the expansions, since you pay it a lot. The graphics suck pretty much, compared to the Half Life 2 ones, which was released in the same year.

    I hate it... it really has bad graphics and the big speaker stereo thingy wouldnt click on next song...

    Boring gameplay in my view: I dont see any motivation to take care of a virtual person to do the same things I do in the real life: go to work, build up relationships, eat, sleep, piss. I guess this is for very casual gamer or women.
    Graphics is bad, even for such an old game. There is no wideview resolution. The style is childish and so hip and cool, for me    so many fake votes here...

    Que penser de ce truc ? pas grand'chose à dire vrai. Certes c'est amusant au début de diriger ses marionnettes, une sorte de théâtre Guignol virtuel qui reflète bien la société américaine et son mode de vie et par extension toute la société de consommation occidentale mais du côté toujours très politiquement correct, cela va de soi, et trop consensuel. Bref, pas très réaliste...

    On aménage sa petite maison, on place (placez ici votre placement de produit) les meubles à la mode, le dernier réfrigérateur trop bien, les meubles tendance lolilol etc, etc... Puis on s'ennuie assez rapidement.

    Les temps de chargement sont très longs et l'interface plutôt perfectible. Assez joli graphiquement et un souci du détail qui force l'admiration, il faut le reconnaître mais bon... on s'emmerde !    … Expand

    El peor de la saga con diferencia. No hay genética, pantallas de carga infinitas, las expansiones fueron un continuo robo. No recomendable!!!

    Offers a heap of replayability, and then there are all the expansions to look forward to. With all new features, increased graphics, gameplay, and options, there is no feasible reason why you should not purchase this game if you ever enjoyed the original.

    While The Sims 2 delivers great graphics, wonderful music, and a ton of new features and objects; I have to say the minimum requirements should be higher. I have more RAM than it suggests but still feel I need a beefier video card to get rid of the slight glitches that seem to occur while changing views.
